I'm doing Engineering just because i got into an IIT ! I always wanted to be a graphic designer or animator . As i belong to a lower middle class family, it wasn't that easy to turn down an IIT seat to pursue design . But rn on my last year of btech , i got a fully funded scholarship to do masters in design in US. Even my 4 years of technical studies is just a waste of time , I'm pretty much happy that finally i could do something what i like to . Now i realise how important it is to have a work that you love to do. Happy for you chechi ❤

Then why do a high percentage of people end up going for non-core jobs afterwards? And why do so many non-CS guys take part in coding clubs or any other clubs which has nothing to do with their branch ? Why people go for masters in a different subject ? Considering mother IITs , most people choose brances for the tag, campus life ,exposure and ofc placements regardless of their interests. That includes me, fam ! In these 4 years at IIT Bombay , I have seen a hell lot of people who scored lower CGPAs in their respective branches but still managed to do land in decent placements or pursue higher studies in their fields of interest. My class has few guys who started to code from an age 13/14 and still choose a non-CS branch for IIT Bombay and still got placed as same as CS guys . Even in UPSC , there'd be 1-5 people in top 10 ranks as IITians. Why they choose something which has nothing to do with their technical degree ? Peep your surroundings before you start writing, mate .

So when we built a new house I avoided all sliding doors..because I have a baby now.

But since I study well they never listened to me. I’m still stuck to engineering job. But I’m happy that I’m earning really good. But this time I’m on maternity leave and thinking the same like you to switch my profession . But I’m still gathering courage as am a full time mother also now. As a new mom i have enough challenges to think. But you made a bold decision and ur right we work for money end of the day. If UA-cam and social media paying you a satisfactory amount why you need to take unwanted burden and you can very well focused on family life too.. expecting more vlogs from you everyday.
