Blizzard needs to be doing very little nerfing for druids. Those nerfs feel much worse when most of your kit is just bear noises and a claw mark circling you while everyone else is throwing volcanos and lightning storms around, shooting tsunamis of magic missiles, and riding into combat with the horsemen of the apocalypse...
still my favourite class since WOTLK , just sad for so many expansions it wasnt a viable pick and wanted in many setups. So far its looking good and im stoked. Just hope they dont nerf them more and keep the good changes coming.
Making energy starvation a feature and class mechanic when they previous have said that they do not want dps to be hampered by not having resources to press buttons is a major L from Blizzard.
I picked up feral again after not playing it since BFA. I have been having so much fun with it, I just hope they make it the favourite dps spec for druid this expac coming.i don't want to be OP, just not dogshit
yeh i struggled when i returned in BFA went to hunter, to SV..boom was melee and i have not enjoyed the hunter since played the WW for bfa in the end then mage in SL too decided to level a druid at the end of SL's and well...rest is history it feels great to me have enjoyed it all DF :)
Passive Adaptive Swarm would be a welcome change. I don't think it adds much excitement to the rotation, at least relative to how bloated our DoT lineup already is. Rip, Rake, Moonfire, Thrash. That's plenty, considering snapshotting is a thing again with the Tiger's Fury changes.
I loved Feral for many years, but gave up on the specc a while ago. The best they ever balance Feral, is to be decent at max, which simply isn't enough for a bit of a higher end of M+ content. I was sick and tired of constantly getting declined for groups and being made fun of because I play a "meme specc". Always felt like Boomie is for M+, Feral for PvP.
Feral needs a complete rework, its been trash in pve for 10 years, its somewhat good in PvP in some comps, but regardless of the damage numbers, it never felt good or strong to just swipe at things and then bite something with animation thats 20 years old
@@BeowulfGaming Sure it's been rough in the past but it's been pretty good in dragon flight. Far from the trash you claim it to be. Even now it's doing really well and that's without any hero talents in play. To the point that if anyone has real complaints you can more or less mark it up to them not knowing feral as well as they think they do.
@@serryx1944 dude, if top 1% of feral players make it work with sweaty efforts into a "mediocre" category while BM hunter tops the meter with 4 buttons, then its trash, feral is like sub rogue, its a pvp spec, in M+ its a joke and has been for years, try to get into a group
That's one of the good things i liked about Wildstar mmo. You had 1 hotbar for abilities and a small one with a few buttons for consumables. It was like 10 abilities. You have more abilities than that, but can only use 10 at a time and your talent points could only adjust up to that many and not even fully. It kept everything very minimialistic without going to extremes, like ESO.
that's the reason why i play wow and not GW2 or ESO or whatever where i'm limited by the game it self, i rather have 35 buttons and have a skill ceiling than 8-10 buttons and get bored
Question to the feral community: I never played feral much, but I wanted to use it as my main for the next expansion. (I am more of a casual player with not that much time to spent on Wow unfortunately). I like the general gameplay theory, but I am not a pro in resource management.. do you have any tips or would you say there is a massive time investment needed to actually enjoy the class ? (Mainly PvE, sometimes PvP)
Don't be afraid to use bear as a shield if needbe. I see so many druids forget they are playing shapeshifters just shifting bear you have your health increase, Also, you can use the bear heals once if you have the talent. Also wild charge bear is a stun, so swapping bear then stunning and back to cat. Helps a lot.
You’re good, people talk so much sh*t about feral they completely forget what a good class it is. You can literally fly in as a bird from the sky and then swap to stealth mid-air before attacking your enemy. COMBAT RESSURECTION. Bear form specialization can solo any world boss in dragon flight. Feral is a little harder, but it’s not hard when you learn it. If Feral is annoying to learn, balance is SUPER EASY and powerful. Let’s not forget restoration Druids. For me, the best tip is to have a Druid as your main and then choose whichever alts you want, Druids can play 4 different specs so you will learn other classes while playing Druid. One last thing, there are already too many alliance Druids, so if you want to feel like your class is special, you can forget it. 😂 Best of luck!

Good feral druids are like good mages they can be insanely powerful and border line Unkillable in the right hands but seems hard to pick up and do well with for the uninitiated
@@danielsmith2483 depends, in PvP scenario you are right, in PvE not so much, the spec has had issues in PvE for like 8 years now. Some players can make it work in some M+ keys to make feral average or mediocre, but if those people put the same effort into a different spec, they would be topping the meters and pushing keystone master. That being said the spec is underwhelming not only by mechanics, button bloat and effort you need to put in, but also the animations are 20 years old and do not feel fun, like 4 out of 5 spells have almost identical animation, swipe, trash, rake, shred, primal wrath etc all look the same and then you bite, thats it. I think feral has insane potential to be a fun and visually appealing spec, but Blizz would have to listen
Only people that can’t play feral very good think it’s bad. Feral is very powerful in the right hands. Remember, Echo vs Mythic Fyrakk world first last year, feral Druid was top dps.
