  • Here is a great game against Steve at Reading Wargames Club. Playing for me, a new set of rules, 15mm ancients. Game is really interesting, maybe future games for the channel. Please view and feedback your thoughts.

Hi Graham...thanks for this tutorial. It really helped me get the movement mechanics for ADLG.

Looking forward to watching this I really like a game of Lart. Enjoying your tour through various systems. Personally I am await the DBA episode, clearly the best gaming system ever made. Thanks again for sharing.

Thank you for viewing.. I am incredibly lucky at the 2 clubs i belong to, we have a great variety of games to try/showcase. ADLG is very popular at both. At Reading in particular there is a decent following, most play in tournaments.

I think this is an easy game to follow, and small in scale, so good for UA-cam. ADLG didn't take off in SAD, but I do know what you mean about getting the figures out of long-term storage. Last weekend I played in a DBM doubles event and it has re-ignited my love of DBM.

Hi SD. Yep, i have Macedonians, Greek Hoplites and Mongols. all ready to go…. Incredibly popular in Reading. I agree, think it films well. I thought with it being 15mm, you would loose the “eye-candy” affect of the 28s…. I don’t think it does. Humm dilemma :-). A question of which game to give my time too.

I’m thrilled to see you playing a learning demo game of this. It has an incredibly dedicated tournament following at conventions here in the North East U.S. but I’ve found it impenetrable to get into. I would love to see you play more, particularly with your Macedonians - I’m painting mine gradually.

Yes indeed an interesting game mechanic. I have several 15mm dbm/fog based armies, so i guess fortunate that i can try them with my own miniatures. the advantage of never selling any of my collection.

This is a great set of rules. The game allows you to perform a lot of maneuvers on the table. Interesting battle resolution system.

If it works with DBA/DBM bases this is a given for me to try!

Looks like too much Geometry, doesn't it?

I completely agree, A geometric challenge. Something different from my 28mm skirmish games i have favoured. Hummmmm, decisions decisions..

Way too granular for me, less fun too much maths

Entirely fair comment , not all rules suit everyone. Different horses, different courses. Thank you for viewing and comment
