Hey man, I think you misinterpreted how Krark's ability works. If you lose the flip, the spell gets returned to your hand and the spell does not resolve. When an effect says "return target spell to its owner's hand" the spell does not resolve.
@rhysbenson2061 oooooh, my bad then. I completely misunderstood that effect, I'll pin your comment to make sure people know, lol. Thank u. Also, for anyone wondering, I searched it up, and it ends up not resolving because it no longer is considered a spell on the stack due to spells only being considered resolving when on the stack.
@@teagledabeagle Krark is still a good card though, especially if you can get multiple copies of him on the board at once. If you get 2 Krark triggers, and one of them copies but the other bounces the spell to hand, you still get to keep the copy of the spell. If you have even more Krarks, you could potentially get a bunch of copies and still get the spell back in your hand to play again later. Weird commander for sure.
@rhysbenson2061 Oh my god, that sounds amazing. Actually, I'm definitely gonna build that, could use sakashima of a thousand faces as my partner commander (tho it would be wayyyy more expensive)
@@teagledabeagle Yeah that's a pretty tried and true combo so it's definitely worth it (and yeah unfortunately more expensive). You obviously don't have to build it this way, but Krark and Sakashima have also seen cEDH play. I don't think they were ever top tier though.
