Tommy Raw blend in australia has a great channel with absolutly delicious easy soup recipes that mostly don't even need cooking beforehand, their cooked in blender. he's amazing!
Timmy J yesterday i used my vitamix for the first time and made a soup with raw ingredients and after 5:30 mins i had a perfect soup - except i used too much ginger xD
I made this last week without steaming the veg and it was fine and I blended as per the hot soup button on my Vitamix which is about 6mins 40 I seem to remember.
@@VitamixCorporation Great, thanks for the reply. Because I though I read in the instructions I should not let it function for more than 1 minute. Maybe I misunderstood! :)
Hmm, that could be due to some bad bearings. Let's get you connected with someone who can help. Could you send us an email to socialcustomerserv@vitamix.com with your Vitamix serial number?

I wish I never put lemon in my soup. It ruined the whole thing , now it tastes very bitter and sour. I spent hours on adding more and more carrots but still tastes bitter
I just watched this on the Vitamix site. These ingredients are steamed ahead of time, so why does the website say this in the second paragraph? "The speed of the blades has created enough friction to heat these raw ingredients." They are not raw and that needs to be changed to pre-cooked. Proofread these please!! This can be very confusing for some people.
We do like to advise that the speed of the blades can absolutely blend raw veggies however, this specific recipe calls for steamed ingredients. You will notice that every recipe varies.
It doesn't matter people!!! That's why it's called a choice and personal preference. What ever you like (raw or pre-cooked) to make soups. 🍲 I have made them all to MY liking, not what Vitamix says. Not everything needs to be spelled out like you're 2 years old. Just use common sense. 🤦🏾♀️ This also let's me know, that you can't cook either, being this petty. 😏

We are happy to help, Marios! You can blend soups with your Vitamix for 5-7 minutes to get them steaming hot. Just be sure to blend on high!
@@VitamixCorporation after blending for four minutes my vitamix started making a loud kind of screaching noise while it was blending. Ummm. Why?

So - is it raw or steamed ingredients that one puts in the Vitamix?? Very confusing, please clarify.
It is personal preference or whatever the recipe calls for!
@@VitamixCorporationthank you for the response but the email states raw and the video states steamed?
The recipe on our website and the recipe in this video both call for steamed carrots and onions. spr.ly/6052HoHDu
