You are pure sunlight, Heather! Always smiling and always persevering! You are such an inspiration. Congratulations on Placid. Can’t wait to watch you take on Kona. ❤️
Inspiring. Positive and humble. A true champion!
Thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼🤗🤗🤗
HJ is my idol, no joke , all excuses die watching her train and race
Heather you are such an incredible athlete; but what is most striking about you is you have such a beautiful shining soul, you give your heart to your fans, whether they are adults, children, athletes or spectators. It is an honor being Finishline Security when someone like you is crossing … bright blessings to you beautiful lady✨🙌🏼✨
I was tracking you throughout the race and kept scaring the dog as I screamed for you with each update on the run, especially when you pulled within a minute! I was supposed to be getting my weights WOD in, but couldn't focus at all until you crossed the finish line. :D Way to hang tough and keep moving strong even with the terrible cramping! Looking forward to seeing you at IMLP next year, woohoo! ~Megan 🙏
Hi Heather, I have followed your career for many a year. You are one of the main reasons that I keep plugging away each training session, keep entering races to improve my times over the 70.3 distance.
Thank you for inspiring me & thousands of others to be the best version of themselves possible.
Good luck for the rest of the season from Essex, England.
I will be cheering you on in Kona, go get that win HJ🥇👌
I was glued to the computer watching this race. I was extremely excited when I thought you were about to catch Lisa. But then so proud of how you handled the pain and cramps. One of the toughest ladies in all of triathlon really shown bright that day.
Thank you so much Paul 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️ That was one tough day with some good take homes on the learning side 💪🏼
Agreed!!@
Thank you for greeting me at finish line. I’m the KQ legacy finisher. I loved seeing you at finish. Made my day. Thanks for the hug
Congrats Heather on the 2nd, fantastic performance! Was very exciting following the race live as you were making up ground and getting close to Lisa, what an amazing effort. Love the great and healthy perspective you have on the race and all of the positive takeaways. Heart and mind of a champion! Thanks for sharing this recap and great editing Wattie! Cheers 👍🙂
Way to hang in there, Heather. Very inspiring and shows us age groupers that even you professionals have struggles during the race. Huge motivation to push through on race day. Can't wait for future videos on your push to Kona!
Thanks so much Matthew 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️ Kona prep video series coming soon 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Your comment about being happy with 2nd place but always wanting to win immediately reminded me of that saying "shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you'll still land among the stars". You're definitely a star Heather and a huge inspiration. Just keep working hard and good things will happen 😀
❤️❤️❤️ It’s suppose to be fun!!! AG athletes so often forget that during races, present company included. I did finally learn after an injury and races are SO much more enjoyable now and a lot less stress.
That's for sure Mike 🙌🏼 We are lucky enough to be fit and healthy and able to race triathlon 💪🏼 Thanks so much for the support 🙏🏼❤️
Amazing job Heather... even with all the cramps. I will be doing California IM and cramps is my biggest fear and enemy. Just like you, I'm aiming to win it.... but realistically I'll be around 600 😁😂 So proud of you... keep pushing!!! 👏👏👏
Congrats Heather. Shows how strong of an athlete you are and can't wait for Kona!!!
This is a tough job because of the pressure. It’s important to remain positive and strong. Congrats Heather!
"I'll remember this race forever" - yes, Heather, you surely will and it's lovely to hear you say those words. It's hard in the moment of defeat to think in a positive way but the difference between first and second place in IM racing can come down to the tiniest detail. You've done the training and you have the fitness to win. You know that.
Omg ,,,, it seems that you are connected spiritually with. Woke up to find out my bike was stolen and after fighting with the apartment complex insurance company , filling a police report, and getting awesome support from Ryan @ventumracing ( I know it’s not your sponsor ) the very FIRST VIDEO that comes into my UA-cam feed is yours ! Always so uplifting to all of us and ask Mike said. Can’t wait to see you in Kona. Go get em Champ
Heather, I met you after I returned to the finish line for the last half hour, and you were gracious enough to give me a selfie! You are awesome!
Both your physical and mental strength are incredible. I had the athlete tracker open and was rooting for you from the UK, hoping you'd have a good race! Absolutely crushed it
Thank you so much for all your support from the UK 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
I absolutely love these videos. Wattie is knocking it out of the park with these edits! Was watching this race all day in the UK and was on the edge of my seat during that run. So inspirational
So exciting to see you race. Thank you for sharing your training with us. You help this 55 year old age group have fun and committed to training. You're the best!
Thank you so much Lisa 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️ I will keep the videos coming 👍🏼
Phenomenal! You always exhibit realness and poise when you make the podium and when you don’t. Your resilience and commitment are truly amazing and admirable. Congrats on the amazing race even with such severe cramping.

Of course I watched the live since I was not there …. I love your attitude and perseverance. Your right 2nd place is great but I wanted you to pass her on River Road. Love your vlogs and thank you Wattie for putting it all together for us🤗

Amazing to follow, I kept checking the app to see how you were closing down. Exciting to follow. While watching your recap now I just realized I didn’t follow the men’s race at all as I don’t know who even won… yet again why triathlon is so awesome
Awesome job HJ! Keep that positive mindset going into Kona! Can’t wait! Great edit Wattie! #HJP

You've become my favorite. Cheering for you!!!
You can see. That is serious suffering. Massive respect
You are so cool 😎 and well done 👏 you inspire a lot us female age group athletes
I don’t know what it is but I love the way she trains 🦾
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️ Thank you 🤗
OMG! I just wanted to give you a squeeze to make the pain go away! 😮❤
🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
So happy for you! Can’t wait to see you kill it in Kona!
I was just glued to my tracker and Ironman Live and when they were showing you I said to myself that doesn't look like she's stretching?? lol I was right! Girl you toughed it out! Some other athletes would have hung it up but you didn't! You problem solved and hung on. Rockstar status!!!
🤗🤗🤗🤗 yeah I defiantly wasn't stretching...I was not able to move my lower body and was trying to lift myself off the ground so I could try and keep moving forward 😂😂😂😂 Thanks so much for watching and supporting 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
Way to go!!! Whoot! Whoot!!!!
I was happy for you when the IM app popped up your swim time! Then again when it looked like you were about to catch Lisa, I was thinking you'd get the win. Do you know what caused the cramps? Race day Nutrition miscalculation?
Thank you so much 🙏🏼 I was so stoked with my swim!!!! I was throwing up on the bike, I had an upset stomach and was not able to keep much of my nutrition down, which ended up catching up with me around the 20 mile mark of the run.
@@heatherjacksonracing oh ok, I missed that part in the video. Looking forward to tracking you on K day! Onwards and Upwards 💪🏽❗️❗
BOSS 💙☀️🏆
great video! Why no disc wheel in your races ?
Thank you Mike 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I prefer the lighter weight deep rim over a disc on a hilly course like Lake Placid 👍🏼
Is supplementation/ hydration the real culprit here?
how can you not love this woman?
You rock!
You are an absolute badass
YOUR AMAZING
🙏🏼🙏🏼🤗
Lol lady you R badass!! 🤙
