Thank you so much, but literal English translation is always best. We need to see the same word order that was used in Mandarin. Trust me - you help English learners unlock the entire sentence that way. I already know how to speak 'conventional order' English sentences. I need literal translations so I can match every word please.
You don't need to convince us on the merits of doing literal translations, David. We already done *18 videos with literal translations* and you can see the *playlist* here: ua-cam.com/video/qP_ihrfU6wQ/v-deo.html Videos with literal translation have a lot of benefits, especially for beginners and lower intermediates. But trying to do literal translations on more advanced conversation is *VERY difficult* (and *time-consuming* ) if you want the English *to make sense* , especially for the long videos that we produce. Maybe in the future we will consider doing more literal translation videos for beginners and lower intermediate - but, right now we are really stretched out doing the more advanced content which if where our interest primarily lies.
You are right but this is HSK6 which is almost fluency level so at this point you do not need literal English translation. Trust me there is no point watching these videos if you are not at least HSK5. You will end up using big words when you have not yet mastered simple equivalent vocab and sentence structure. Your Chinese would then sound a bit weird. 加油 💪
