The HSK that you learnt is HSK 2.0 which the HSK 3 only has 600 words. But in HSK 3.0 , HSK 3 has 2200 words. So you need to put a lot effort to get HSK 3 in HSK 3.0 version Good luck. I'm also starting my hsk 3 in hsk 3.0 version

People from different regions in China might use varying tones for words. It usually comes down to context as some Chinese people don't speak standard Putonghua or Mandarin. When you talk about 中国人 or Chinese people you are talking about all the different minority groups who have their own dialects which are different from standard Mandarin and these people tend to speak a locally influenced version of Mandarin.

Never seen “meiyou” used as a question particle along the lines of “ma” before.
It's actually pretty common and the HSK 3.0 Level 1 grammar points included this one.
meiyou can also mean "have you?" So, it is not uncommon to end questions with meiyou.
