Yeah for sure.. that's a good deal. I just bought a Rockville rolling bag for it for $73 on Reverb... So do you like it? It's working well for me so far, but it is definitely about 10 LB heavier than the competition...
@@DrJoshGuitar i do, i have owned many systems over my career and was looking for an upgrade to my backup battery powered system (roland street cube ex) I love the sound of the Yamaha but I hate the fact that it has a constant fast phantom draw of the battery. I removed my battery for this reason til I need to use it unplugged again. For my voice I can not get the right mic settings without the app too and that is another annoyance but it is a great sounding system other than the two reasons stated above
@@sevalmi8681 Not those systems, I have however owned and used on many hundreds of gigs the Bose L1 Model 2 pa system, and Ive owned about 10x EV 12in powered pa speakers. EV makes a great product as well for their pa speakers. From the reviews and sound samples The Bose S1sounds great but doesnt have the sound pressure levels of the other systems. The Yamaha Stagepas 200 puts out a very good amount of volume and sounds great, I was really surprised at the sound quality and volume for such a small system. The compression and ability to use multiple effects at the same time etc are what sold me on that system. For ease of use the Roland street cube EX is hard to beat but doesnt have the volume of the Yamaha.
Hi thanks for the great video! In your opinion regarding the EV everse 8 against the Yamaha 200btr, which one sounds better, nicer all around, better bass, mids and highs. Thanks, appreciated!
Thanks so much. Been looking at that piece of gear as my Bose S1 is making some nasty hums these days. Very informative.. Nice playing by the way p.s. was curious about the reverb. If that was from the Yamaha speaker ,sounds like a decent reverb in it as well.
Hi sir, I was wondering if you could tell me if you can plug an acoustic-electric guitar (with onboard preamp) into the 4/5 sum channel. Reason I ask is have a duo with 2 guitars and 2 vocals. Also, if the guitar will work on the 4/5 channel, can you use bluetooth on that same channel for break music (while leaving the guitar plugged in)? thanks in advance!
Standard ES2 system it came with. I was using a tiny pedal board with a couple effects, but I wasn’t using any of those effects in this video. The reverb is from the PA. So basically you are just hearing the guitar plugged straight into the PA. Thanks so much!
Can I ask a question? I'm considering buying this for a wedding gig... there are 2 guitarist and 2 vocals.... can this thing power all four?... I see it has 3 main channels and phantom... I'm not familiar with that, but I was told this channel needs power?? Or a preamp?

Yamaha isn't afraid to show what this speaker sounds like. It sounds good. In contrast, the Mackie Showbox is afraid to show the actual sound of the speaker in any video. Because the Showbox sounds absolutely awful. 6:03....man singer is tragedy against woman on stage.
Haven’t used it for that so it might make sense to see if you can try it somewhere w your keyboard before deciding. The question is how much you need a physical multi channel mixer because that is the one thing it brings that it’s competitors don’t have.. The drawback is that it is heavy.
This is what I like to see, how the speaker sounds. It's great. Thank you.
Glad you like it!
i like how the mic n guitar kept thier volumes. mic also has a great tuning to voice options. ty vm. ++
I am trying to figure out if this has dual voltage? Purchasing in France and hoping to be able to play it without needing converter in United States.
I paid $725 for mine the stagepas 200 BTR with the optional case included too, Reverb is your friend

@@BillyBlaze7have you used EV8 or Bose s1 pro plus?

Yep, that was the built-in reverb

Sorry for the late reply. I’m not sure if that’s possible as I have not tried it.
@DrJoshGuitar no problem thank you.
Josh I have 2 guitar players and 2 vocals will one speaker work or will I need 2?

Wow Demo is very nice ❤

Do you know if they have fixed the battery drainage (when in storage) issue with a firmware update?
Hi.Read the manual. There are a combination of pushing buttons for entry on “save battery mode “Not more draining battery 👍🏾EASY!
@@enriquerierariera6374 really? I still charge it the night before I play which is a pain.
Can I add a random speaker by connecting to link input? I wouldn't like to buy another stagepass to add power...
Great demo
Very good review! Thank you! Hello from Russia!
Thank you! 🙏🏻
You have great guitar tone. Are you just using the standard Taylor ES2 system or something else?

Great review brother 🙏🎸 best to you!
Thank you! Happy Holidays my friend!
Great review thanks, I j ust ordered one. Hard to believe for Yamaha there's no On Off mut buttons when they even have an autoducker.

Nice review! 👍
What do you think about Korg Konnect ?
I’m not familiar with it.
So, it's not good for keyboards and synthesizer?
Haven’t used it for that so it might make sense to see if you can try it somewhere w your keyboard before deciding. The question is how much you need a physical multi channel mixer because that is the one thing it brings that it’s competitors don’t have.. The drawback is that it is heavy.
my gonna review my bawz, cause the first time I couldnt see all of em

I can’t find any of these type amps that sound good with electric guitars. This one doesn’t seem to have anything more than it’s competitors.
