- This is my review of my new Majestic Forge. This is a custom forge that isn't offered on the website. But they do have this same configuration as a 3 burner option in there specialty forge section. And I'm sorry for the poor quality of the video.
This is also a continuation as part of Rex Krueger's video I did with him. So if your here because of Rex thank you.
I came over because of Rex. I am not disappointed. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for coming by, glad you liked the video. I'm hoping to do some more videos. But it will be slow going.
I too came here from Rex's video.
Welcome thanks for watching my video
Same here! Came from Rex Krueger and really enjoyed your exchange. Look forward to some more great content!
Came from Rex's channel...hope you make more...this was really informative and I loved the video you guys did together!
Thank you so much, I really enjoyed making that video. I hope to have another video here soonish
Rex sent me over to subscribe, keep up the videos, my Grand Father was born in 1874 he was boiler maker for a railroad, in the 20’s he started an iron works he worked until he was 88 years old, I have several tools that he made and used with his forge. Blacksmithing maybe a new hobby for me after woodworking, metal fabrication.
Got here from Rex...good luck bro...keep moving forward!
Thanks Tim for showing your skills. Saw ya' with Rex. Ver' inspiring.
Thank you, I had a lot of fun talking with Rex about my shop and what I do
Great job, I came form Rex
thank you
Came over out of curiosity after watching your interview with Rex. Interesting videos …keep it up
Thanks
Came from Rex's channel, liked and subscribed very much based on your content.
I doubt they ship to the UK as the post and packaging would be very prohibitive, though I now know what features I need to look out for.
A fantastic video, you are extremely articulate especially considering how few videos you’ve done. I know I couldn’t do it. Thank you.
Love the minimalistic approach 👍🏼
Just came over from Rex's channel, love what I see so far. Truly hope to see more from you soon! Instructional stuff would be great for budding hobbiests like myself.
Thank you I hope to do more. Stay tuned
Guess im part of the rex crew. Looking forward to see more of your work
Excited to see what kind of content you come out with!
I too just saw you on Rex's channel. Enjoyed it and Subscribed. I'm looking to getting into smithing as a hobby looking forward to any tips and advice.
Thank you I hope to make some more videos in the coming weeks.
Looking good! That side door feature is genius!
I came from Rex's video also. would love to see more videos on how you craft your products with such a minimal set up which is exactly the situation I am in, limited room and not much need or room for large equipment.
Hello from southern Ohio! Rex sent us to check your channel out. Keep making videos, a lot of us are hobbiests with limited space and funds, we could use the advice.
Thank you, where in southern Ohio are you? I'm originally from the Hocking hills region
came here on rex's recommendation and thought I'd say hi. looking forward to seeing a lot more of you. good luck with your channel.
Thank you sir. I hope to have another video here soon
Came from Rex. I’d love to see minimal blacksmithing! I’ve taken a 10 week course at our local art museum where we had about every tool you can imagine. Loved working steel, but couldn’t see how to get into it as a home hobby.
Blacksmithing classes are great and there are many options on how to get started at home. Sounds like a video I should do
Great video, i was on the fence about what forge I wanted. Think I’m sold now. Thanks.
So glad that my video was able to help you.
I am here because of Rex'x video also . Also because of your info on the gas forge you have, which I think is just what I need. I am to old to put a lot of money in Blacksmith tools. It has always been on my bucket list :-) I have had a old farrier forge that needs work to get it going again, stored for many years. Just never seemed to get to it :-(
Thanks, depending on the type of forge it is. You could sell it to purchase a new Gas forge.
Also came over to subscribe after seeing your video with Rex. I'm really interested in seeing what I might be able to do with minimal equipment as I have limits on space as well. Looking forward to more videos!
Thank you
Came from Rex's video, too. Hope you make more, this is a really interesting topic for which I feel there really isn't much of a presence on youtube. Good luck man.
Thank you
Came over from Rex as well and really liked your approach. I'm a complete amateur in blacksmithing and it really inspired me to invest more time into it (and maybe even find an actual teacher lol) Keep up the good work!
That's awesome, blacksmithing is a great skill to have in your tool box. Finding someone to teach you even if it's just a couple of lessons can give you a great foundation upon which to build on. Let me know how it all goes for you
500 views on this? Not bad at all! Very good for one of your first videos.
Thank you, sir. Now to do a project video.
Pleease make more videos.
Another via Rex and looking forward to more videos.
Hi just seen Rex’s video and came across your channel . Have to say you’ve got a great channel and would like to see you do some more smithing videos , your a good teacher .like your forge and the fold down side makes it much more versatile greetings from theUK
Thanks for coming over and watching my video. Yeah having the side open up helps with a variety of projects. Cheers
Cool forge, I did just watch your video on the rex Krueger channel and you mentioned about making an anvil out of old rail
Road track, that's something I would definitely like to see.
I'll add it to the list of future videos. Thanks for coming by I really appreciate it.
Looking good 👍
From Australia, via Rex... Bring it on brother! Really interested to see what you can show us. I'm just in the process of planning out my own furnace/forge to see what kind of damage I can do. And I'm also thinking about content creation, once I find where I've hidden my bloody camera's battery charger... Let the good times roll!
Thanks for watching, there's some great Smith's Down Under. I hope to have more videos soon
Stopping by after seeing you and Rex. Wondering if I have what it takes to get started smithing. Seems like you would be a great resource; looking forward to following your channel
Thanks
Thank you
I just found out about your channel from rex im subscribed keep the videos coming! Im very interested in smithing im only 23 want to learn.
Will do
Just letting you know I am a new subscriber and Rex sent me
Thank you
Nice forge those, with the leaks you can get a gas goo sealant, or some use gas tape.
Going to try and build something similar.
Rex sent me.
Please do more
👍👍nice
Thanks Gib
I came by because of Rex. Are you still forging ahead?
I'm also from rex channel and for your leak on the burner did you use teflon tape for gaz
Thanks I'll give that a try
What size bottle you use
Rex sent me
Can I use like a small propane tank like a grill ?
Yes you can most of the time when I'm teaching a class or doing demo's. I use a standard 20lb propane tank. But it will not reach welding heat with just a 20lb tank. You have to get something like a 80-100lb tank for forge welding.
What is up with the new anvil sitting on the old one?
I'll have more on that later 😉
I have the very same forge except mine doesn't have the side door and no matter what I try I can not get mine to forge welding heat. Can you forge weld with yours?
In order to reach forging welding temps you have to have a larger propane tank. If your just running a regular 20lb tank you'll probably never reach welding temps. I would recommend at least a 60lb tank.
I have only been using the grill sized tanks and have spent hours trying to forge weld. Thanks for your tip I will try a larger tank. I'm surprised that after all the blacksmiths that I have talked to none have mentioned that!
I also came here from Rex's channel. You should absolutely make some more videos. But please, no more vertical videos.
Haha yeah that was a learning experience lol I'll try not to make that mistake again
