I really want to work for a controller modding company. Working on controllers is the most fun ever.
I hope your able to do this one day!
Please go help get battle beavers build times under control.
@@iHCSx Get on fiver, and start yourself.
Haven't touched a controller for fps in 10 years, but end up watching these anyways cuz they are so well done. Great job
The dual sense edge woulda been perfect if it just had 4 back buttons instead of 2
alot of people just use 2 but for the price they have it u would think they would have the option
@@conor-_C exactly, they coulda made it like elite series 2 where you could go work 4 or 2 for this price
@@randomgamer19170 there's more features to it than other controllers like like the changeable thumbsticks the trigger stops on the controller with the adaptive triggers 2 paddle designs + the controller being sold by Sony fee So I think it's reasonable
@@1upnolan340 the number one purpose of a pro controller is back buttons, only two is unacceptable for a $200 pro controller

I just want a dual sense with back buttons and hall effect analog sticks. I love the regular triggers
I modded my controller with extremerate and it was surprisingly easy. I love it. I have a scuf reflex also, but I prefer the one I modded
Me too. Worth it fr.
Yo bro i have a question , do u still use extrême rate paddles ? Cause i also have a reflex since à time now and i dont really convinced with the joystick wich is different than the ps5 one , and if u put the paddle yourself on ur controller ? Thx for ur com and peace 🤘
@@senju4655 I am still using them for sure. I have 2 controllers that I've installed them in. One of them has the clicky triggers and the other doesn't. But I use them both everyday. And I just bought the new silver ps5 controller and I just ordered another kit for that controller too. The fact that they are remappable in seconds is awesome. I know I sound like an ad, but I just really like them lol
@@COREcasual haha u didn't sound like an add at all 😅👌 thank's for ur reply and okk i see i think too theyre great paddles and back then i dont want to buy them bcs you have to install them yourself and im shit at that , and for u clicky triggers you install them yourself on ur controller too ? Thank's bro im thinking more of buying one and test it out , i like the reflex one but she already have a squeak problem with my triggers and i dont fully convinced with the sticks 🥲 have a nice day man thanks for ur reply 👌
The biggest issue with ps5 controllers for me is the stick drift, and it seems none of these can replace the actual stick like the duel sense edge can. With all the comparisons, it seems there is no comparison to the edge. Thanks.
If you are waiting on it it’s really good it’s super worth
Battle Beaver by far the BEST!!! Weird back buttons, but back sticks aren't weird? Paddles to easy to hit wrong or both paddles & easy break... the only back buttons are the only natural hand placement (battle beaver)
Yea he didn’t mention you can get grip on the battle beaver either. Battle beaver is the best.
I've owned 2 scuff controllers when I used my ps4. The customer service is horrible and I am one of the lucky ones that didn't have any issues with the controller. Paddles were awkward ..not comfortable using.
I switched to AIM controller. I've been using it for over a year. I love the position of the paddles they fit perfectly where your fingers rest. I have had to replace the paddles because one of them snapped...I had v2 paddles they makes v3 now that are much better. Best part of the controller is life time warranty.
My paddles snapped on my aim controller too I was js thinkin of buying a controller from scuff but what you think should I buy one from scuff or just try to find new paddles?
Every scuff I've owned had drift after about 6 months
Mine had stick drift out the box
I bought 2 scuffs before I got my PS5 both lasted about 3 months each before getting drift. Also sending them back was a nightmare they lost one and when I finally got it back still had drift ill never buy another scuff again lesson learnt
What game were you playing?
@@MrBmxer41 battlefield mostly
@@sir_smokalot2540 Hmmm interesting do they have deadzone input in that game? I played destiny had no issues but as soon as I played Cod I noticed it not saying it's the games fault but honestly sometimes it seems that way. I too had to send mine in less than 2 weeks pretty much so far customer service is great and the warranty is also they are paying for everything I sill have warranty and they probably will replace some stuff too. Where are you from BTW? They lost your scuf how did that manage to happen like shipping it or scuf misplaced it? Also tbh I don't think scuf is to blame for stickdrift it's the shitty modules every company uses for controllers I think.
Scuf controlled break so easy compare to the other controllers
@@JaiRoccasGaming All the other controllers are basically stock and you're paying about the scuf price for them. Other than stickdrift I haven't heard of many issues from scufs and paddles breaking but something tells me there I'd more to that
HYPR is what I've been using for over 10 months. 125 bucks and they ship within the same week. Couldn't be happier.
They are good for sure, the dual sense edge swappable joy stick modules are what sells it for me though. Won't have to buy a new controller for as long as ps5 lives.
amazing review! wish you hade the aim controller in it also tho but other then that 10/10 ty
Aim is the best
Battle beaver does have an interchangeable thumb-stick option and grip if you customise
The Edge controller you can remove the left and right sticks to install tighter or looser sticks also there is a function on L2 and R2 for sensitivity
I love my Battle Beaver and I love being able to have increased tension on my thumbsticks
Defy and hex pretty much the same build and options. Where is the AIM controller?
Aim controllers are my fav
Battlebeaver offers variable stick tension, which I think is a very good feature. Also, the placement of back buttons can be customized.
Also you will be replacing the controller every 6 months for $260. Ive bought 4 Battle Beavers in two years. Game daily for hours. Not worth it.
@@freedomthefreeman487 do not buy battle beaver. Two of the back button stopped working after three months. Unbelievable
So no stickdrift on the battle beaver?
@@Josephdaeditor dont buy
@@kevinahearn8764 why but any good ps5 controller
I think I’m gonna get the scuf fps because i like the triggers and paddles
Scuf is terrible, been through 3 just from triggers and sticks wearing out. I’ve fixed normal controllers before myself but scuf doesn’t sell parts and charges extortionate prices for even simple fixes.
I had a complete rebuilt from scuf after taking it seven times since launch :^) and the left trigger randomly decides to not click or actuate anymore
I have an aim and scuf controller but prefer the scuf over the aim. For big hands I find my hands cramping up a bit using the aim controller. The scuf is perfect👌
I've heard scuf have had bad reviews for stick drift is that true?
Am I able to return it after stick drift starts to happen before the 1 year warranty
@@Capo_jc21 I am not 100% sure but I am going to assume that you won't be able to.
@@Abdul_Mateen. I have had this controller for a year and a half with no stick drift at all.
Extreme rate is really easy!! Im really bad at these kind of things but with the video extreme rate explaining how to do it Everyone can do it !!!
The Edge Pro Controller for L2 and R2 has three sensitivity settings long travel medium travel and short travel quite honestly this controller is the best on the market overall
I personally love Hex the most.I have both the Rival and The Ultimate and I love the design and customer service they offer. Also just for the record, I also have a red Battle Be aver and you can add a grip to the back just like with the other controllers. I put one on mine and it feels really good to hold. They offer both textured and rubber grip
Before I even watch this video, I gotta show love to Battle Beaver
You slap a Batman sticker on the gold and black one and you got yourself a Batman themed control.
The Defy controller has the Extremerate rise4 backbutton attachment and grip
Where can I buy that controller? I live in Africa
Still waiting for mine, and I ordered it in January 2023, it's now May 2023, definitely don't recommend it.
Do u have to add the paddles yourself?
Scuff gaming hasn't let me down yet
I have the Dualsense Edge and have had it since its release. The paddles on the back connect to a magnet and yhat magnet holds the paddle in place. I have had to return and exchange this controller 5 times and im not exaggerating. Literally, 5 times. They send me a refurb and it works for maybe 2 months then the magnet breaks again and becomes loose so the paddle stops working.
My question is, why doesn't anyone but BattleBeaver offer higher tension thumbstixks?
What is the best controller in terms of ergonomics?
I find the dualsense uncomfortable, too big
Thanks
So if you get stick drift your screwed ?
This review is most probably the most knowledge packed content that I will ever see in my life.
Hajaaaaa!!!
😝😝😝
Battle beaver does offer interchangeable thumb sticks and grips. Just want that to be known
What's the function of interchangeable thumbsticks? Is it for stick drift of just for heightened sticks etc
It’s so that you can replace the thumb sticks when you eventually wear them out.
Reflex pro is best imo
The fps you mean or? Depends what games you play, if you play cod or rust or fast paced games, fps is the one you need, there's so doubt about it that's why its priced higher as it's a legit pro controller
$250 🤣
No oooooo do not buy a scuf wrist company ever please don’t give them your money you’ll have stock drift in 5 minutes
@@StrawberryAmmo I had took it back to game stop right away worst controller ever. Stick drift first game on both contracted scuf they don’t care not want to help with anything if you send it back it’ll come back with more problems worst controllers ever had the instinct pro abs FPS worst 2 controllers ever traded the instinct in for the dual sense edge tried to send back the FPS they wanted 30 dollars restock fee plus I had to pay for shipping so I’m stuck with a shitty controller the input lag is horrible if you have a ps5 get the dual sense edge you can customize it all on your ps5 if Xbox get the elite 2 yes the FPS and instinct have better mouse click triggers but the lag is horrible also they’ll break instantly I treated my scufs so good was not hard on them at all was so easy on them barely wanted to use them then the instinct started popping and clicking in the left stick and the FPS had drift in the left so quick first day I swear do not give them your money get a battle beaver if you wanna waste that much. Please listen to me
Bought several white dual sense controller. An 3 of them had issues with. Of the left stick went into a drift 😢. A need a controller that works well n will last then more than 3 months
BB also has grips, you just didn't get them.... why would you be "trading out" thumb sticks & BB has all the options & sizes
i just want a controller that doesn't immediately have stick drift.
I bought a dualsense edge for the replaceable stick modules, and even the modules start drifting almost immediately
So i have a scuff, the dualsense edge and the victrix pro bfg. My favorite one is the victrix pro. I have small to average hands and its the most comfortable. Also i love the battery life on it. And i prefer the xbox joystick template and you can do that on the victrix. I can go a week with daily plays without charging it. I never got stick drift on any of my controllers, ever, and i have been gaming for 20 years. Time will tell but the victrix is the best for me
How long have you used the victrix . The two biggest negatives I’m seeing are they can get stick drift and not able to replace the analogs?
@@haymkrr they have hall effect sticks available now
I’m buying the scuf for Xbox series x and the ps5 I don’t care about the back buttons I just need a great controller that won’t break
buy the oem controller… 💀
which of these has the least amount of analogue stick tension?
I’m legitimately upset that the new PS5 pro controller releasing only has two back buttons which makes me not want to spend $200 on it. 😢
The only thing in my opinion wrong with the scuf controllers is their weird back button layout
You think it will be better than the New dualsense edge?
The beaver pro controller that have those beaver tailed Textured back buttons is clever Considering the controller's name have beaver in them
No hall effect variant yet for existing dualsense pro controller?
Just want a controller that doesnt drift dont care about the fancy bits, as im buying a ps5 in a few weeks. Which would be the best long term controller for that? I know you said battle beaver is reliable so far
they'll all have stick drift at some point unfortunately. Should have the new DualSense Edge coming to test soon
@@DiamondLobbyReviews what a shame :/ but thanks for doing the hardwork, really a stellar review man 👍🏻
Same man the analog drift problem getting too bad. I went through 3 controllers in a year and a half. Literally makes the controller worthless. At these prices I need a guarantee I won't have these problems
What do you notice about the stick tension of each controller?? Do they response like the stock tension or lighter? I mean battlebeaver offers five types of stick tension starting from decreased stick tension to exteremly heavy..
this is the BB Pro Pick which is pre-built - not sure on what tension setting they have it on but I can't really feel anything massively noticeable that's different between any of the controllers. maybe a little bit of difference but not confident in commenting either way
@DiamondLobby Reviews Thanks bro for the review
None of these are worth it if you have the risk of stick drift. Only if a company can figure out how to make a PS5 controller not have this problem. I already have 3 Dualsense controllers with terrible stick drift. One of them I had a short while when it started happening. Sony's solution on their new Edge controller is not a good solution as this controller costs $200 and can still get it and if you do, they charge $20 per stick module replacement.
I have two battle beaver PS4 controllers and I love them, I just wish they let you trade in and pay the difference for PS5 controllers because now I'm just stuck with too nice controllers until I can find someone or someplace that will pay decent. I payed well over $200
What do you consider decent? Even the PS5 controller is only rated to last 400 hours before you start having issues with it. No telling how many hours you have on your controllers and analog sticks wear out fast.
@@justinc.242 anything over $100. And battle beaver has lifetime warranties, I have had them in to be fixed and parts replaced so they're basically brand new
Sold my PS4 BB controller on eBay when I sold my ps4. Got a little over 50% back of what I spent and I put an absurd amount of hours on that controller. Some of the rear buttons actually were pretty beat up and sticking/not registering.
@@williammiller496 no they dont mate they have 30 day and 90 day warranties not lifetime
I love my scuf fps for Elden Ring
Back buttons work good for elden ring?
You can find a use for back buttons for any game. My old ps4 controller had back buttons, been missing em since getting a ps5. Impatiently waiting for the edge 😂
And scuff does give you a lot of customizable options
Exactly lol. Idk what he's talking about.
It's disappointing there was no attention paid to the D-pads. Which are the most important part of a controller for fighting games. Which this type of controller layout is better for.
I feel like the dual sense edge will make these obsolete
This
If you want 4 paddles then no, unfortunately the edge has only 2 paddles on the back
@@williamsantiago9284 The edge also has no grip
You did not include the PS5 Edge controller that's a Pro Controller it's a badass one
Sony will slap and show them how a controller with high price should be. The third party ones are insanely overpriced for just using wholesale Chinese mods.
You didn’t mention you can add grip on the battle beaver, and interchangeable stick on the battle beaver. At least understand what’s available before saying you can’t get it.
Not on the Pro Pick option at the price as listed in the video, and the grip isn't built-in.
@@DiamondLobbyReviews Then don't choose the Pro Pick. BB is easily the most customizable. Not a good review.
@@DiamondLobbyReviews i literally built a ps5 battle beaver will the rear grip. There are times they are out of stock but it is available. Again at least know what the product offers before claiming they “don’t offer” you add $50 to that battle beaver and it has everything plus more than those other controllers.
How does scuff not have customization
All scuff controllers have terrible analog sticks. They’re flimsy and you start having issues in less than 3-6months. The cost to fix them (from past experience, not sure how much now) was like $85-100 something. Not worth it imo.
No hall effect sensors = garbage potentiometer sensors
I new to that ps 5 what do hall effect means?
also curious about the difference

@@nodayoff1000 magnetic stick sensors so no stick drift
@Sammy Shadi they're pretty much the next generation of analogue stick modules, they're higher quality and would eliminate stick drift. So if you bought a $250 pro controller like the razer chroma pro, you wouldn't have to worry about the analogue sticks failing. They're apparently more accurate as well
I will thank you if I answer this question your personal taste for competitive shooter what is the better control ???
With defy I swear u can pay some more to get mouse click triggers and buttons
Damn, and here am i, i would be content with simply just a dualsense controller that doesnt drift.
Here cause the extremerate button on both mine has broke after few months of use 🙄 can't get rear 4 button metal ones

Can anybody tell me how to link the scuf cs dual sense wireless to pc? And btw, does it take time if you come from fight pad controllers or xbox controllers for fighting games?

Nice video that does not settle the debate so you need to get a new title. Lol
Hi, is there any chance you could review the scuff reflex fps against the megamodz ps5 fps professional tournament game pad. As I’m torn between the two haha
i want an xbox elite controller but for ps5 cause its got the best paddles
This is so true. I recently bought the Extreme rate Rise 4 Metal Back Button kits. I heard it has a premium feeling quality and minimizes misclicks. If you are interested I can reply back when I have it installed.
I’m so tired of buying a 80$ controller just to have to start having stick drift or buttons stick in less then 2 months of having it.
Does the scuf fall apart after a bit of use?
Yes it does I had mine for a few months and the triggers crumbled
Which ps5 controller has no stick drift guaranteed??
Edge
I believe the hall effect joystick are patented, so if someone wants to use it they have to pay for licensing and also royalty to the guy who owns the patent.
I just want a controller that won’t get stuck drift in such a short time someone please help me😢
Which cantrol have aimbot in it?
What about the response of the thumb stick is it good or bad , and how does it feel in game because that’s the only reason I’m looking for a pro controller
Does anyone know a controller for ps5 that can use motion/gyro aim for games that doesn't support motion/gyro?
Strange mouse, but Okey I guess, also, also buff AA to 0.99!
You can customize the reflex from color to anything you can change, it just cost money to do it, maybe if you had it on day one yes there was no way you can customize it but you can know, so please if your doing a review why not visit the site again and see what changed, not knocking you giving my opinion
I did visit the site to check colors, specs and prices. The Reflex FPS (pre-built) is only available in 4 colors at the price stated in the video. You can technically make an FPS as a custom build, but it's not called an Reflex FPS, it's a custom Reflex, and it's more expensive. Same reason I said that there were no versions of the BB Pro Pick that look different to a regular DualSense.
So the pros dont use any stick extension. I always thought they give you better accuracy
main AR players will quite often use KontrolFreeks or longer thumbsticks, especially on the RS
@@DiamondLobbyReviews what is RS?
I saw the list of the pros one week ago too and no one used kontrol freeks but all battle beaver
Can’t do battle beaver, 2 paddles just ain’t enough
Still prefer scuff reflex
I’ve had my scuff 18 months and zero drift
Scuf FPS controller will last you 6 months at best. Maybe I got a crappy build out of shear bad luck, but the right stick wore out quickly (wouldn't rotate consistently/smoothly), and the actual X button would stick after less than a week of use. Waste of money and was really disappointed after so many people recommended it
Will not be buying another scuf when they only give 6 month’s warranty. ordered the PS edge.
Thx 🙏🏽

Did Defy go bankrupt or something. Website is gone
Yep, and they ripped me off, I paid for a controller off their website in January 2023, and they responded in February to say there were delays with new updates, all the while knowing they were in liquidation, dodgy as hell, I'm currently looking into the shareholders, hopefully these guys are held accountable.
