Thanks. I'm a woman not an idiot. I know it's not my battery. Thought it may be starter but will listen for fuel pump. Edit, in my case I just needed a bottle of fuel additive (although it wasn't below freezing, just cold, about 6C). Condensation in my fuel perhaps?

OMG you explain your car problems like my mother-in-law. Saying your engine is cranking or turning over . Both mean the same thing. Your car can't crank but not turn over because they mean the same thing. Put it this way you can say it's turning over or cranking over. This reminds me when my mother-in-law I told me her car wouldn't start in needed a jump-start. I went out and put the jumper cables on her car. she jumped in a car get hit her cranking it like a bastard. She gets out and says it must need to charge longer. I said what are you talkin about the car is cranking over good. She was out of gas. 4:42

I have the same EXACT issue. Mines a manual transmission and I’ve been popping clutch all week. Replaced the coil packs, spark plugs, air filter, battery and it just won’t hold idle or start on its own. She cranks so hard wanting to start but then nothing and I need a hill or someone with a big truck to pull me started. Once running, smooth as hell engine seems to be running better than ever but I CANNOT take my foot off the gas, stays idling for 10-15 secs then chokes out. Fuel pump maybe 🤔 but I can hear it engage and don’t see any leaks also no bogging or idle issues once moving. I am wracking the internet and my brain trying to figure out what tf it could be. I AM GONNA TRY THIS! I’ll let yall know what happens 👍

Thanks for sharing your experience, I have exactly same issues and what I done change spark plugs and air filter and air map sensor and my car still doesn’t start at first so I have to give it few turn switch, I thought so it may because of the fuel so I put treatment but didn’t work! So last thought maybe it’s because of engine speed sensor!!? But now on I’m going to check the gas pump !
Sprark plugs are very expensive because you gotta take the entire intake off to get to them
All that talk and no pics as to where these relays are.... I think they're in fuse box under the hood and ppl, don't assume it's spark plugs cuz it seems like an easy inexpensive fix.... It is not!!! Gotta take the entire intake off to reach the plugs. Costed me over $600 to replace them at 100k miles!!!

Prob your alternator....clean battery terminals if they are dirty.
If your alternator is good, just hook up a line from the alternator to the positive of the battery.
@@peterl6095 the key chime works..... the red light flashes taillights work when hittin brakes but when key is turned system doesnt ignight warn lights dont show... its a brand new bttry
