- Kinshiki was added in the late stages of Storm 4 and to be honest not a lot of people invested a lot of time into him, because he was clearly overshadowed by the other DLC characters that were added during that time period. In Connections he has received some very interesting new abilities that make him a pretty nice character. His combo routes are unique, his jutsus have nice properties and his damage is solid as well. He got more of a heavy feel in his movement and it’s actually quite fitting if I do say so myself.
Thanks to @AsianBoyXVI and @rabbidavid5906 I will showcase this character to you all, since I've been requested to play with him.
Kinshiki has two primary jutsus in his arsenal. His first jutsu lets him summon his axe while leaping forward towards his opponent in an attempt to slash them. On hit it causes them to be in a bounced state and it is very easy to confirm a chakra dash after this. The start-up frames on this jutsu are very slow, but you have armor during the whole duration of this jutsu so it kind of balances it out in a sense. You are also able to cancel this jutsu at any point which can give you some form of setplay.
His second jutsu lets him slam on the ground and cause multiple shockwaves. On hit it causes the opponent to be in a staggered state and just like his first jutsu it is very easy to follow up anything after this. The start-up frames on this jutsu are also very slow and unfortunately you don’t have armor on it as well. Another unfortunate fact is that this jutsu is very easy to dodge. Your opponent can simply jump in the air if they see you buffering up this jutsu. These facts make this jutsu a very unsafe option and it should only be used when you are perfectly covered by your assists.
Overall, Kinshiki is a lot fun and also a very unique character to the Storm Franchise. Definitely check him out if you haven’t already!

Kinishiki is very decent to play as, and ok as an assist because he's such a big hitbox cause of how big he is that he gets interrupted easily most of the time 😅
That is correct lmao. I just like that he actually feels like a tanky character 🤣. His first jutsu is unfair though. Armor everywhere😅
Ay, let's go. Kinshiki, busted... I mean, he's alright. The only good thing about him is his up combo. Multiple hits to make your opponents have to substitute or take the Multiple hits. Assists won't save them in that state lol.😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 His jutsus are still slow at the build-up before initiated. Poor Kinshiki. Always second best as Momoshiki is the first best UwU 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

Totally agree with you on that! Those are his strong points in my opinion. He can hit everything with that huge hitbox of his🤣. Yeah... the slow start-ups is his major low point and makes him less viable than other characters.😭😭
