The original final movie fight blew my frickin mind at the time. And then the episode version came along.
I swear on my cat. Those where the best 20 minutes of my life. Even my best friend who HATES Naruto watched the episode 3 times in a row. I was in total shock. They managed to do better than the movie.

Difference: they're fighting Momoshiki in the anime. They're playing football with Momoshiki in the movie.
Some aspects of the episodes are better and some are better in the movies like the in the anime Naruto saying everyone is his family is really touching and most of Teh graphics are better in then movies
The movie has less talking and is more dramatic but the episodes have more scenes and better angles

An aspect that is lost in the anime is the drawback of the chakra pills Momoshiki uses. Naruto compares them to doping, cheating always comes back to bite you. Momoshiki's second form in the movie caused him to be too large, losing his close-range combat moves and speed, forcing him to rely on long-range instead to get away, playing right into Naruto and Sasuke's hands.
yeah, but the anime plays into his characteristics more and his overall ego over mass he got blinded and fueled by hatred the moment they knocked him out the first time, which naruto and sasuke knows thats like step 1 to defeating any enemy that has intelligence, Get in their heads.

Besides the fused momoshiki fight the movie is just better. It showcased Naruto and sauske more like GODS. Naruto getting kicked though arena and the sky going dark

I didn't even realize how much of the movie footage was reused for this arc of Boruto. imo DBS did most things better than the movies except the fights/animation, like in terms of continuity and flow. it felt more like a progression. I see absolutely no reason they couldn't just reuse most of the good fight scenes from the movies, especially with the time crunch. if they just reused the fights for most of it, it would be the definitive way to watch those arcs (especially if they kept the FLOW song). also, my other stipulation is getting rid of that braindead scene where they killed off Piccolo with the exact same wound he survived on Namek...y'know...because he can REGENERATE, but they forgot almost all of his Namekian abilities for some reason. doesn't help that they just offscreen revived him when they realized how dumb that was smh.

there's a mistake in the anime.
when naruto and boruto bump fists (21:35), boruto doesn't have bands around his arm, but when he's talking to sarada, the bands simply appear (22:09).
In the movie only the beginning is better, in the rest the series beats it by a lot.
I'm sure this video needed an awful lot of work to put them side by side like this, frame by frame.

8:20 Is something that has always bothered me about the anime version over the movie. While the fight is so much better in the anime, it bugs the fuck out of me that Sasuke tells Naruto "I'll lend you the power of the susano." And Naruto replies with "Thats a good idea!" They have already done it before INCLUDING IN THE VILLAGE BEFORE THIS FIGHT HAPPENS. Like these two can basically read eachothers minds during a fight, so why he has to say it gives me fucking ocd.

For the most part I do say that the movie did everything better than the anime except for the main final fight. when it comes to the final fight they are both equally good for their own reasons, is anything the anime final fight is better for the fact that the more added hand to hand action was very cool and it has the better looking transformation. But that being said each have their uniqueness that make them stand out.

Liked the movie more because of the stop and go pacing it does. Compared to the episodes, bug action stops for a minute, then resume.
Movie flows better. The design, of course, goes to the episode, can't deny that.
But the movie to me was more interesting because Naruto actually uses Sasuke's sword, idc if it was brief, it was cool.

In my honest opinion, I prefer the movie.
Naruto and Sasuke are not common shinobi or even Kage level shinobi, they are demigods, and in the last fight of the movie you can feel it when they break the rocks or change the ground relief with bare hands and feet. They have incredible speeds and power. You wouldn't say that Naruto and Sasuke are nerfed in this version.
In the anime version they fight like common shinobi. It'd be good if someone like Kakashi does it, but not Naruto and Sasuke.
On the other hand fused Momoshiki design is better in the anime version. In the movie version fused Momoshiki looks like a dude with the Cursed Mark level 2.
The movie is unrealistic because they couldn't go all out with so many comrades so close. Remember the Jigen fight? They didn't have to hold back anymore in that dimension since no collateral damage was at risk. The movie has nice moves but wouldn't really happen since Sasuke couldn't nonchalantly throw his susanoo body or attacks around with so many innocents around that could be hurt by any number of things, including simple falling rocks or chakra pressure. Momoshiki looks weird as shit when he transforms in the movie also which I hate. Anime is 1000 times better in my opinion.

Even in the common Sage Mode Naruto can lift and throw a giant rhino which weights thousands of tons with bare hands (remember the fight against Pain). So at that time he already was on landscape level. In Sage of Six Paths Mode Naruto is on continental level and can easily destroy the whole country by his own. The fight of such characters should look like what we can see in the movie.
Even Sakura is on landscape level that she can change the ground relief with bare hands, because with the perfect chakra control she concentrates the chakra at her fists, that's why her punches are too strong and destroyable. So Naruto and Sasuke can do the same but hundred times faster what we can see the exactly same in the movie.
There's no reason that Naruto and Sasuke are holding back at that time, they were in other dimension as well, so there is no any village and people around. Boruto and their comrades can go to hideout. They are not common people and can defend themselves from explosions, falling rocks or something.
And I don't seriuosly take Boruto series after the movie. The showrunners are too nerfed old characters and don't follow Naruto canon or balance. So for me it's not even a serious show, it looks like a fanmade shit without any respect to the original.
Anime is really hyped and better
When Boruto sudden activated his Jougan while attacking Momoshiki on side. Momoshiki sees that. That was the time that Momoshiki, decided to accept his defeat. Because, he foreseen Boruto's fate in the future. Choosing Boruto to be his next vessel, while being killed and defeated on this battle..
I feel that Boruto's character in the film is more lively than in the anime series, like at minute 18:41, Naruto's smile looks more natural.

I saw the movie first, It was good but there where some parts that left me wanting for more, like Momoshiki´s transformation was soo underwelming, and the conversation between Naruto and Boruto after Naruto being rescued was cut too short, among other things. The TV anime version is Plotwise superior since it is more slower paste therefore taking the time to develop the characters more better. Momoshiki also looked like a real threat and final boss, plus Naruto and Boruto have a longer conversation. Obviously this video doesn´t show that because is focused on comparing the TV scenes with the movie therefore it has to be edited to match the movie scenes. I also loved the hand to hand combat since is so fluid and perfect, it is still a large scale battle and and it make sense since it has been more than a decade since the battle against Kaguya. So them being a little rusty is not surprising, yet it was still awesome, my vote goes in favor of the TV version.
Anime did it better. Also to the channel owner, Vegeta with rinnegan ( your current photo) would be terrifying.

Only the fight and transformation was better in the anime.
In movie, Sasuke used flame control with his blade to hit kinshiki, whereas in series, he used chidori with his blade.
Come to think of it, in series Sasuke barely uses his flame control attack, most of the time he relies on chidori and sometimes uses Amaterasu.
TBH the animators gave a little bounce in the movie version but momoshiki's transformation in the episode version looks sick and in the movie version it just looks like a level 3 goblin from an isekai anime !!! OVERALL BOTH ARE GOOD 🔥🔥🔥

Na minha opinião, o filme é maravilhoso, mas o anime ficou muito melhor. O Momoshiki por exemplo ficou mil vezes melhor, a nova aparência pro anime combinou bem mais do que a do filme. A do filme se parece muito com as transformações usadas pelo quarteto do som com a marca da maldição ainda em naruto clássico, parece que copiaram e colaram no momoshiki. As coreografias do início do filme na minha opinião são mais bonitas e melhores, mas na luta contra o momoshiki eu acho que no anime ficou surreal, melhor que no filme. Conseguiram progredir absurdamente no anime, melhorando algumas cenas e até falas, coreografias e até os próprios poderes, mudando pequenos detalhes pro anime que pra mim ficaram melhores do que no filme. O filme é maravilhoso e a única falha dele na minha opinião é a aparência do momoshiki mesmo. E por conta disse e de alguns outros detalhes o anime ficou melhor, na minha opinião!

The Boruto mega rasengan scene was so much better in the movie, with him stabing the absorbing eye and momoshiki looking out of options, also the taijutsu bullying to momo though the anime fight was cool too, the Kurama+Susanoo dodge to clean cut never gets old.
Thats said, Im surpriced to how many people complained about anime beign much better and then you look at the comparison and is most of the time 1:1, with the movie adding a lot of little details and scenes but the anime having better animation at some points, personally Id say the movie is better just cause you skip all the filler content from anime and is pretty much the same experience.

In my opinion the only 2 things that I've preffered in the movie was the art inself, like faces, that of course is much beautier than in the anime, and the talk scenes in movie, that I've liked most was brief moments that just the expressions gives the answer, like Hinata's scene or naruto lookin at boruto with odama rasengan. But the fights, music, design, and the final scene with team 7 talking on montain, Anime episode was better to me

Anime better because Momoshiki just looks completely weird in the movie when he transforms. I hate that movie but the anime is fierce as hell with much more emotion as it should be. Movie would be great if there was no anime but since anime exists, movie is obsolete.
