I guessed 2017 Hermann J. Wiemer... missed it by 10 miles. Although, I think they have actual vineyards closer together! Lol
Great job! I always struggle with whites, I guessed Mosel Riesling but couldn't go further!
@@Oneonthehill ... the “laser like” acidity and the flinty minerality gave it away for me. Actually, most all of her descriptions had me thinking Fingerlakes Riesling. Anthony Road and Seneca Lake is an easy 90 minute drive for me, so I have a lot of tasting time around the lakes.
@@jerryhammaker8209 nice area! We are very far but definitely close to Barolo and Barbaresco so we can’t complain!

Yoohoo, thank you ! I like these tastings :) I close my eyes and guess the wine. I'm pretty proud of my skills and this is a good training. a good one ;)
A new one! Yes! I guessed a Pacific NW Riesling myself.
The cheesiness made me go for Chenin, but the floral quality still had me at Riesling. Very odd that the wine is labelled dry and tastes off-dry. Thinking the producer isn't being honest...
Wine tasters forget how good FLX Rieslings are. Boundary Breaks makes some awesome ones too

why would there be sediment if it has been decanted?
She lucked out vs the other tasters. Riesling is the easiest varietal to blind taste.
