OMG when I was trying to fall asleep I had sleep paralysis and what I did was close my eyes than right away I slipped into a dream and I knew I was in one
Itching means it's working. That and uncomfortableness and the desire to move. These are the tests your brain does to see if you are asleep. By ignoring the itch and desire to move, you will convince your brain to enter a sleep state, however, you will remain aware of this because the FILD method keeps you aware and "conscious" just ignore the itch, with time it will go away
@@F41thfulSk8tr so that's what that was, the 2nd time I tried lucid dreaming I was doing the finger technique and as I got more and more tired I had the itchiness and urge to move. I ignored it and I did dream, but I don't think I had control. I remember very vividly my sister coming home and talking to a mutual friend out front while I was trying to fall asleep. I peeked outside and then went back to "sleep." But when I actually woke up and asked my little brother, he said my sister hasn't gotten home yet.
Thank you so much! I’ve been trying to lucid dream for weeks now with no sign of progress. I tried most strategies (MILD, WBTB, WILD etc) but none of them worked, last night I tried this for the first time and it worked! Again, thank you, it was awesome.
My first time in a lucid dream I didn’t really know what to do so I kinda just sat there and talked to my grandpa, he is deceased so that’s why I was fine with talking to him instead of exploring the world of lucid dreaming
whundafuq it worked. here's my lucid dream: I was moving my fingers as if i was playing the piano, Shapes started to appear as i was relaxing, it turned into a very snowy place but when i was fully in I was in a pink cloudy room, First i looked at the sky and it was shrek. I dont know why, but shrek. I looked at my wrist for the letters i wrote on it but my brain didn't process those letters so it was only my wrist. I stretch my skin and it went pretty far. So.. I was lucid! I said 'I wish for.. a cat!' And a cat appeared, I leaned over and stroked it. Then i wished for a mirror. I was prepared and my face was donald duck and the bottom part of his beak went through the mirror and into my face, I said 'Okay delete that mirror' and I thought for a minute of what else I wanted and said 'I wish for a friend!' And some dude appeared, we introduced ourselves and his name is jack. I wanted it to end because it was time to get up since it was morning. so I said 'Oh, there goes my alarm clock. Gotta go!' And I didn't even have an alarm clock, my thumb was numb when I woke up.
I get more hours of sleep. But how can someone sleep just after waking up. It's not possible for me to sleep after waking up. I'd be just lying there on the bed and nothing happen.
It's amazing how high quality your videos were back then compared to how good they are today! You really didn't lose quality over time, which is absolutely amazing! Congratulations on that, bro!! 🔥🤩
Amazing technique, went to bed at 4 woke up at 9 for FILD and had a lucid dream effortlessly. Felt crazy vibrations that i stayed calm through and once it felt like i was on the other side i performed this reality check where i try to stick my hand through the wall next to my bed, my hand went right through the wall!
I was trying to lucid dream for a few days and I took a nap one day and I realized I was dreaming instantly woke up into sleep paralysis in a dark ass room and had a panic attack.
You gotta know what you’re getting into try to not panic and think positive if you can’t think about your breathing and distract yourself from scary thoughts and keep your eyes closed but you can also imagine yourself in a dream and going into a dream to make yourself have a lucid dream
This actually worked. Tapped my finger then slowly i entered lucidity i was asleep but my mind was perfectly awake i could feel my body, i could also wake up anytime i wanted to thid was my first time i didnt do much in my dream but with practice i can extnd my lucidity to about an hour or so
Snibuana You can put it for around 4-6 hours after you’ve fallen asleep, so basically; If you fall asleep 11:00PM, you can put your alarm for anywhere between 3:00AM and 5:00AM.
@@Gratefulsurfer I am too, but I feel as though we need to go straight in with the final thought “we can’t be hurt” because it could go extremely well and we could do anything we want
I fee so lucky! I tried lucid dreaming for the first time two nights ago and it worked! But I tried it again last night and I fell asleep in the process just thinking about random stuff, so it didn't work. But thank you so much for having this channel!!! Lucid dreaming is awesome and I recommend flying.
@@ฅ..ฅ-ธ5ช I used the FILD technique the first night I tried (the only time I've gotten an LD) So I recommend you use that. Imagining playing the piano was hard for me, so I just imagined I was in bed wiggling my fingers like a total weirdo. By some miracle that managed to work. Just be careful doing that because you may wake up if you LD that you're in bed.
716 Niilex happened to me the first time. Last night I unintentionally lucid dreamed I got to ride I giant hawk but than I woke up, but apparently I was still dreaming I just lost control....
the closest i got to lucid dreaming was questioning if i was dreaming in my dream, but my dream self was like nahhhhhh. honestly, i dont even know why i dismissed the fact that i could be dreaming in my dream. i literally murdered my dad in that dream wtf.
This is legit how I fell out of lucid dreaming years ago, though. _Every_ time I become lucid, I stopped being able to maintain it for more than a few seconds. Like the lucidity switch was cross-wired with an auto-destruct sequence. I kept hitting dead ends after months of practice. Here's hoping it goes better next time; yay...! @.@
The best thing you need to do if you want to lucid dream just punch yourself if doesn't hurt that's mean you are in a dream and try to feel your legs cuz they are weightless in the dream but really the punching works every time
@@felixfuckboy4192 I have adhd too and I'm in the same situation as you, I figured one day I could do a reality check in my nightmare and I became lucid in my nightmare, just change the whole scenario you're in and put yourself at a beach, trust me it's way better
Hey dude! It's me again. I just want you to know that I finally had a lucid dream, Thank you for your tips mayt it helped me a lot to stabilize my Dream. Now I've proven that it was real! Lucid dreaming is for real!
+Master Chief that’s awesome!!! I have a video on dream stabilization coming out today so hopefully it’ll help you gradually increase the time you spend lucid :D
I was trying FILD for the first time last night. I managed to do a successful reality check at least twice, but didn't get much farther because I woke up. What's a bit amusing is that I was trying the FILD in a regular dream as well! With a success. I realised for a bit that it is a dream, but, unfortunately, the focus quickly faded away.
Today I had a lucid dream without even trying and it was the first time I've had it. I was lucid dreaming when I accidantally counted my finger and found out I had eighteen of them (on one hand), but it was only for a few secs before I somehow forgot I can control things and the dream became normal again. But I guess it's a good start :D
Oml same I was just normally dreaming and I held up three fingers and told a friend. "5 jars left!" I said while I basically shoved my three fingers in his face. I was like, "Wait, that's not 5." and looked at my hand and counted 8 fingers but my dumbass was like "Oh, that's normal." And just went back to what I was doing as if it was a normal dream
YES i had a dream where I was in some sort of like car insurance or life insurance commercial, where i'm driving the car but I saw the heading of the AD somehow? i saw my house and said "that's not right" "Am i dreaming?" Then I looked at my hand and I had a second thumb growing out of my hand. then my alarm clock went off. but my mind was tired anyway so i dont think there was anything i could have done even if i stayed in it lawl
A lot of people say “DONT USE TOILETS IN A DREAM” but dont actually explain why . So if you dont know you basically piss in your bed if you piss in the toilet
I tried this, got impatient and thought it failed. Actually I was just in a dream of me sitting in my bed. Kinda sucks knowing I had wasted an opportunity.
I dream of being a pretty mermaid diving freely in the sea, suddenly I couldn't breath in the water, which is weird, I'm a mermaid! I woke up with my fat cat sleeping on my face
Now I'm worried I will be in the dream with cat sleeping next to me and I will dream I'm in a relationship and I'm a sleeptalker so my parents might hear me and be like wth
Ahahaha have mastered being able to use them and not wet the bed, the key is knowing your in a dream and disconnecting any actions from your physical body
British Army-Roblox simply close your eyes again and concentrate in going into your dream again.. but don‘t focus too much, just do it naturally and you‘ll find yourself in the same dream again. It workes for me 99% of all of those cases.
got this happens all the time and also in some of my dreams where im almost awake but only halve asleep where your still awar but also see dream stuff i cant open my eyes or else ill open my eyes in real life but i can still see just not clearly
I did this last night and i am about to do it again, IT WOKS SO WELL AND I ENJOYED FIRST GOING INTO IT, I first realized something was off because my bedroom walls were the color they used to be, it was kinda my memory's... I then closed my mouth and tried to breath through the closed lips... I WAS IN FOR THE FIRST TIME
Nightmares are typically what induces lucidity for me, then I can pull myself awake at will. That's usually how they end for me luckily.

Good Green Goy usually get stuck in mine. it like when you where a little kid and some one was watching a scary movie, and you wanted to pretend like it didn't scare you. so you sat there and watched. every time I have a lucid nightmare I want to wake up, but something is like no lets see where this goes lol. then I get bored and wake up anyway lol. you can only scare yourself so much before it just gets stupid lol.
After a month of not becoming lucid, I try out fild and the night that I tried it I woke up at my time I was supposed to wake up for this to work, preformed the fild technique, and went to sleep. I find myself in my home as Thor, yes Thor the god of thunder. I do some reality checks and I stabilize my dream and I was completely in control. I tried to phase into my wall to escape my home but that didn’t work but I still became lucid. Success!
I started watching these videos because I "experienced" a lucid dream a few days ago. I actually remember all of my dreams since I was 10 but I don't know how to lucid dream again
tried this method for the first time last night and i actually succeeded. since it was my very first lucid dream i didn't really know how to control every single thing but omg it felt so real
stop getting scared about sleep paralysis.I have been lucid dreaming my whole life and I am an expert.I guarantee that the chances of you having sleep paralysis is extremely low.Even with medical conditions. And if you're scared before bed listen to binaural beats or watch happy videos or meditate.
I lucid dream pretty often, but also get sleep paralysis a few times a year. It's honestly not that bad cause once you identify it just focus on your breathing and being calm. You can then focus on waking yourself up. I usually just focus on saying "okaaaaay now wake up" over an over again in my head and just sort of rock myself awake. It's weird but not too bad
Some people get sleep paralysis more than others. I have had sleep paralysis at least 30 times in my life. When you have sleep paralysis, your body is asleep but your mind is awake. That is why using some lucid dreaming techniques cause a lot of people to get sleep paralysis because you are forcing your body to fall asleep while your mind is awake. Yes, there is a pretty low chance of getting sleep paralysis but it is still quite common.
I had a lucid dream exactly once in my life. I was jumping really high and suddenly realized I was dreaming. I didn't want to land, so I stopped myself before I hit the ground. After that, I was flying. It was great. I really hope I can do it again someday.
Sleep paralysis isnt that bad, as long as you dont panic. Ive had if before, its like your body is asleep but your head is awake. Its nothing to be scared of
Agreed. Is there an alternate method? Preferably involving a way that doesn't provoke one's family to, for instance, chain one in the basement for excessive noise?
If you have an android (and headphones) download Nap Alarm. Try getting comfortable with the settings during the day and make sure you wear the headphones you intend on using while test running it.
I'm not someone to post in comments but I just had my first lucid dream because of FILD and i had been trying different techniques for multiple years now. This is the first time I can vividly remember my dream as me having taken an active part in them. Further more that I can remember me feeling with all my senses in these dreams. Thank you very much for this video that helped me get my first Lucid Dream
You can but it requires allot of training when your awake. Basically, train yourself in to doing reality checks out of habit. Eventually, when you are dreaming you will do the reality checks and be able to become conscious that you are dreaming.

I have been working on trying to master lucid dreaming for about a year by researching different techniques and testing them out every couple of days for instance last night i tried to do a modified version of a WILD I had gotten all the way to the part where sleep paralysis has shut down most of the movements in my limbs successfully for sleep while having my mind awake. I have gotten those parts down but the thing is haven't found a "trigger." A thing that will help send my conscious mind to my personal dream world. As in what happened to me last night it was just a bunch of laying there for atleast an hour in bed with nothing but the occasional static noise that would stop suddenly once i paid attention to it would go away. This "FILD" Technique seems to have that trigger that may help in finding what i needed. Thank you UA-cam for actually finding a good video when i needed it, but a night too late i might add. (And also if that static was a possible trigger for me to enter my dreamland, it was being a sucky trigger then.)
Bowsette So I have a question. Every few months I find myself almost sleeping but not quite. I hear the heartbeat sound and I am so fascinated with it but I can’t stand it. Every time it gets loud I push it back, but since I know it’s a rare experience, I don’t try to wake up. From what little research I’ve done on astral projection, it’s an out of body experience. And you say the noise is a trigger to it? I’ve had some times where I let the static take over and I enter a dream. I see a mist of some sort and when it fades I entered the dream. But on one occasion only I was...not in a dream but in my bed. I heard my grandma making breakfast, I thought i was awake but I realized the furniture was different. I tried to get up but then I heard the static again. I woke up again, still on the bed but now the room was even more different. Is that what astral dreaming is? I think it was except the room kept changing.
I finally got a lucid dream with fild and I skipped the reality check and I was just like “I know this is a dream, no need for reality check” I don’t know if that was a risky move but things turned out alright.

I was trying FILD for the first time last night. I managed to do a successful reality check at least twice, but didn't get much farther because I woke up. stop getting scared about sleep paralysis.I have been lucid dreaming my whole life and I am an expert.I guarantee that the chances of you having sleep paralysis is extremely low.Even with medical conditions.
@Redblade binaural beats actually work! theyre scientifically proven

(Just straight up lucid dream at the time you sleep and not wait for an alarm)
You can though it requires more experience
You can but it requires allot of training when your awake. Basically, train yourself in to doing reality checks out of habit. Eventually, when you are dreaming you will do the reality checks and be able to become conscious that you are dreaming.

I have been working on trying to master lucid dreaming for about a year by researching different techniques and testing them out every couple of days for instance last night i tried to do a modified version of a WILD
I had gotten all the way to the part where sleep paralysis has shut down most of the movements in my limbs successfully for sleep while having my mind awake.
The static! The static I hear it too it's such a surreal feeling u hear it fading and then ur like wait what and it goes away
I like how these lucid dreams videos have all this beautiful and calming imagery and music, but we all know we want to lucid dream to have wet dreams
I finally got a lucid dream with fild and I skipped the reality check and I was just like “I know this is a dream, no need for reality check” I don’t know if that was a risky move but things turned out alright.
I actually just realized that I've been lucid dreaming for years, even without knowing it...
luckyyy
Trade pls.
