It's a shame. The whole Jeffery Donovan twist was perfect for another 13 episodes. I'd have stopped this season on ep12 (or created a filler episode, there were enough lose ends for like 12 filler episodes ^^) and would have started second season with Jeffery Donovan. This should have been going over three 13ep seasons in my opinion. First Season: establishing the aliens presence and where they came from, fact finding hunts Second Season: the different effects the aliens had on society, vigilantes, babies, world wide stuff Third Season: combating and solving the problem, perhaps explaining all the whys and hows perhaps a few years later: Threshold Reborn: What about all those aliens babies that are now teenagers? This screams for a teen-alien comedy/sitcom I call for picking this back up, restarting the whole show with a fresh pair of actors ^^
They could have hade a final 2 episodes, That went like this “ They found an antivirals and a Bio cure to stop inflation and sent a sign to the satellite that sent a virus to infect the alien race “ Checkmate!!
My mom loved this show and we had fun watching it together. Her grace and love were the epitmome of the character of women of old, of mothers and caregivers from an age past, when people needed people. She needed us, and we her. I am incomplete till I am with her in Heaven.
I really wish that, when a series is cancelled and has a cliff hanger, the writers would at least write a finale and release it to those of us who would be very interested in reading it. Leaving it this way sucks.
damm I really like this whole series, missed them all when I was an OTR Trucker. Maybe they will bring it back, you never know. Great storyline and acting.
What a great show . Just watched them all. Wish there was more seasons of this show. Great cast . Great show . Thanks for uploading this . Keep up the great work thank you
I am very grateful you shared this I had no idea it existed ,it made for a great weekends entertainment and I was really disappointed that they cancelled it ,great cast great story and a superb upload with no problems at all ..Thanks again..
I really like Sy Fi movies and this one is no exception.. I don’t know how many times I have watched these Episodes but I like them better each time. When I watched it the first time and run out of episodes I was disappointed. I loved the cast.
@@mikebeasley2942 No, there wasn't. There is just one season. It was a low budget sci-fi show that aired on British airwaves only. It never quite aired on the American channels.
Loved this series. At least they gave us a partial ending. Wish they'd gone on. Heartbreaking that so many great shows r dropped for another "phony" reality show. What's wrong with us that we love shows called reality when they are so fake?
I remember when this series first came out, didn't have the time to watch it then but over this COVID 19 period have had time to do so. I've enjoyed watching this TV series immensely and I too was sooooo disappointed that it ended!
Fun to watch, actually very interesting and enjoyable. I'd like to think that in the world of remakes, reboots, and re-launches that someone could comb the television Universe for shows that ended too soon, and use that as a premise for a regular series, "Shows that ended too soon, now finished." I think that would be quite popular.
It is a bit like The 4400. It ran for 4 seasons and missing a 5th and beyond for a conclusion, just like Threshold. Too bad Threshold only lasted one season.
this was a great show. wish they had continued it. had great actors and storyline. never heard of it in 2005 when aired just found it today and watched all 13 episodes.
"...but you won't be around when we do." So the child grows up! But who raises him? So many unanswered questions now that it's been cancelled...It's simply tragic! Who was Dr Bolton trying to send a frequency to? For that matter, who was that man Lucas saw in his dreams? The one who lived during the Civil era? What did Molly learn from the report that came back from NASA? What did it say about the neutron stars? Was Manning right? There are just too many loose strings! And what about Cavennaugh? His brother's a fugitive, and at large. Do they apprehend him? I also would've loved to see how the characters and their relationships develop - would they start opening up more? Much as I love seeing Molly's interactions with Cavennaugh, they don't strike me as potential lovers. Molly's chemistry with Dr Sloan (the vigilante) was sizzling hot, though! I would've loved to see Jeffrey Donovan reprise his role as a serial killer with a conscience. Too many questions unanswered!
xxEvangelineRxx The NASA letter confirmed everything that Manning said - including the 6-years-until-until-the-end of humanity, and the earth, due to radiation. (I paused play, and read the letter.)
Good series - well made and excellent 'main cast'. What not to enjoy? The human/alien child was also a feature of the original and remade series of 'V' as well as other alien invasion shows/series. Shows that the theme is an appealing one.
I looked up the story online and found out how this story continued. this would be a great series to reboot.... it had great ideas and I liked that it wouldn't continue being called threshold it would have been renamed because of protocol... anyways the aliens were actually helping us by turning the humans to survive in a few years when the radiation hit an destroyed earth reforming it and we'd have been able to survive it... wished they rebooted it an a few other series from the 90s and 2000s
Thanks for the upload. I remember watching the TV series when it was originally broadcast and being mightily P1$$ed off when it was cancelled. Even though I knew there was no 2nd series, watching it again it left me with the same disappointment. Such a good plot line and a cast who had a great chemistry. It definitely deserved more than a single season.
After seeing so many negative comments, I've enjoyed the entire story. I get the story line and how all of the little flaws were small. The story is well told, the cast is good enough to go back for, and thinking about how such a scenario could play out, I'd watch two more seasons. The cast is like a reunion of our favorite actors of the time, doing parts that fit them wonderfully. There's a lot of good to say about this series. Thank you!
Please lets have more episodes of this...I can't believe such a good series is no more ...some plots we see nowadays are not even an eighth of this one. Excellent series.Shukran #loooooooooveit.
How truly ironic, the last line spoken: "I'm just getting started" . I don't think this could have lasted 3 seasons but there surely was enough here for 20-25 episodes, at least. And I agree with others: I really liked the cast and the characters.
I remember this series the first time around. Like many shows I find interesting, it was cancelled prematurely. Been looking for it ever since, thanks for posting. Tyrion and Data make for an interesting cast. Speaking of GOT, the names Ramsey and Bolton are used (separately) in several episodes. Also I have invented a drinking game based on this series. You take a shot of tequila every time Carla has a wardrobe or hair change within an episode. After completing all the available episodes, I am going to 3 meetings a week, and calling my sponsor each time I rewatch Sin City, Watchmen, Chicago Hope, etc.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks. Back in 2005 there were many good tv shows that were just getting started..some are still on the air today, CSI, Supernatural, Smallville, and many crime series. There was a lot of competition for air time.I liked the cast. They had an ok ending but would have liked more episodes!
Really enjoyable but such a bummer they didn't continue it. I want to know more about the Pulsar headed for Earth, there's no way they could beat that, so logically they'd all have to become improved in order to survive it. In the previous episode if you pause at the moment he opens the NASA report you can see that it confirms a Pulsar is heading toward Earth and will cause extinction.
Two sci fi series that were promising in 2005, Threshold and Serenity!!! Both of which were better than some of the stuff that is out now!! Sorry to see this series was cut short it had promise!!
There were two other scifi shows around the same time. One with William Fichtner (I know that doesn't narrow it down much) with an alien invasion and one with Lake Bell and a little aquatic dinosaur both cancelled as well.
I watched this when it first aired. I remember all the episodes except the last one. This series had at least 2 to 5 seasons left. Too bad that Netflix or some of these other channels was picking up shows then didn't pick it up! 🤔
Great show thanks for the upload. Now with Game of Thrones being such a huge success, maybe this show can be revisited. Peter D with a bigger part. This show is a glimpse into the human potential.
I just discovered that this was cancelled why?????? This was getting better and better, now I won't see the ending, wtf is wrong with some people, this was an excellent and I mean excellent series!!!!!!!!!
Having watched the entire 1st season, I can certianly say I'm dissapointed that there will be no more episodes of this series. yes there were some mistakes and the plot suffered at times, but what series doesn't have problems when the first season air's. It reminds me of the remake series of 'The Nightstalker' , another series cancelled after the first season, with much potential. Still Threshold was enjoyable overall, with good character actors, perhaps the studio responsible for this show will revisit it some day and produce more episodes.
just wondering, considering your awesome YT thumbnail photo, did you notice that the showrunner for Threshold was none other than DS9+Voyagers Brannon Braga. Explains perhaps why you enjoyed the series so much :)
It would be great if the makers could bring out a book giving us episode 14. Even if they couldn't tell us what would happen in the proposed next two series it would be great to know how this one ended.
Remember V? The original one, with Marc Singer? The baby plot reminded me of that show's alien hybrid baby plot. I don't know what they could have done that would have been new or interesting with that one.
For a Sci-Fi show it was good. Writing and Characters were believable. Casting was spot on. I would like to know what the NASA report had to say.........
What a fantastic series. Nice twists in the plots, decent acting and not many "unbelievable" scenarios; the ones there were fitted in very well. It just looks like humans hunting humans and that is what makes it so scary; you don't know who the bad guys are because they look perfectly normal. Wonder why they cancelled the series, probably not enough guts, gore and special effects.
Im a bit late on commenting but it was canceled because they moved it to Tuesday block from Saturday block however the show started getting less views that way and the company canceled it since they couldn't get it back to the Saturday block since something else took up that block already. they though Tuesday would give it more views but it backfired big time.
Why would the infected guy go to a small town instead of staying in a big city? Well hell, why wouldn't he? There would be a far smaller chance of anyone really noticing anything until he'd already infected a critical mass of residents, which would go on to infect the rest of the town. You do this to a few small towns and suddenly you have a sizeable army.
Small towns are a symbol here for human society, I guess It comes up in literature quest often even in MASS EFFECT. Where the Alien Attack happens, on a small colony world and not against a major industry Center ( Sorry, the autocorrection had goofed here, just have seen it. )

What about the world wide transmission that stopped the change effects of rejection that was used as a direct assult, to thin the populous? That was the episode where both Threshold and aliens had to work together to save the world. The "Third Factor" created an airborne version that was lethal (instant rejection) because it wasn't a complete version of the infecting mutagen. That's how a combination of signal fragments could kill it in the air, but the end of the show shows an Air Force Pilot flying, just up and die... Deformed. (The Third Factor)
NnnnoooooooOOOOOOOO! It was just getting good! Why? Why did you get cancelled!!???!???!!!?? Can I send an alien signal to the people that stopped your show? Dammit! ((sigh))
Too bad this is the last one. :-( In the next episode the aliens made their big mistake. They tried to infect Chuck Norris with the alien triple helix DNA. The Chuck Norris DNA round house kicked the alien DNA. All alien DNA *everywhere* then unraveled to a single strand and they are now all gold fishes. The end...
Hey, that's a better plot than most of the crap being made today. I often get the feeling that a lot of it is being written by producers' 12 year old children. Maybe you should apply for a job, SkyWriter25!
The writing is so bad in this show I don't know where to begin. But it is somewhat amusing. That's more than I can so for 99% of the dreck being produced. Surprised it didn't get a second season (but not much).
It is so sad that it was cancelled. I really like the cast, and I would love to see the rest of the story unfold
indominesangel what no season 2 that sucks
The first season was suppose to last 25 episodes, sadly all we got from the series was 13 episodes.

15:17...I wouldn’t wish the pain of childbirth on anyone, even an alien? I have 2 children and that was a breeze compared to passing kidney stones.
Really enjoyable. Maybe they knew that a second season wouldn’t be commissioned, hence the last scene.
Too bad this is the last one. :-(
In the next episode the aliens made their big mistake. They tried to infect Chuck Norris with the alien triple helix DNA. The Chuck Norris DNA round house kicked the alien DNA. All alien DNA *everywhere* then unraveled to a single strand and they are now all gold fishes. The end...
lame o
Hey, that's a better plot than most of the crap being made today. I often get the feeling that a lot of it is being written by producers' 12 year old children. Maybe you should apply for a job, SkyWriter25!
CHORTLES!
And the half alien doctor went on to work for the government and became an outcasted spy in Miami. Ok I'm good
I really enjoyed this series...
this show was just getting started. im surprised they canceled so soon.
Really good show, too bad there isn't more.
The writing is so bad in this show I don't know where to begin. But it is somewhat amusing. That's more than I can so for 99% of the dreck being produced. Surprised it didn't get a second season (but not much).
So what happens next ?? Great series & sad it never continued !!
Obviously, aliens decided to cancel the show after on season...
Hmmmm, how many more ways can the aliens find ways to infect mankind with the triple helix DNA?
