Test Drive Unlimited (TDU) is a 2006 open-world arcade-style racing game, featuring over 125 licensed sports cars and motorcycles. The terrain is modeled after the Hawaiian island of Oʻahu that features some 1,000 miles (1,600 km) of roads and highways.[1] Test Drive Unlimited is the ninth main installment of Test Drive, one of the longest running racing game franchises. A sequel, entitled Test Drive Unlimited 2, was released on February 8, 2011. The lead design team for TDU has been hired by Ubisoft for creation of The Crew, a new racing game.

This game is one of the most realistic racing games ever.
Brings back so many memories.
I made so many of my old Xbox 360 friends on this game around 2008.
Miss those days of the 360. A shame the online was killed off but I'd like to play it again anyway just for the hell of it.
I played this game a lot. So underrated! Map was also probably biggest than i ever seen.. 1,545km². Compared FH4 72km².
This game destroyed my PC in 2006.
old version of forza horizon 4 lol used to love this game spent hours on it

Selecting a character at the beginning??? Was that ever a thing? Well I played on ps2 so maybe it wasn't a feature.
Can this be install on Lutris ? Or crossover / Wine ? Is not on Steam anymore
It was on the 360 version I had.
It definitely was always a thing. character customization was always a big part of the game.
no wonder, ps2 and psp version lost some stuff like character customization, some manufacture are missing like ferrari or maseratti even bike also missing, also ps2 version don't include MT gears yeah its visible in option but it was fixed to AT, psp version even more dumbed down with scrapping the cockpit view i guess this is because a hardware limitation that psp has

@@themeol7686yes until the servers shutdown. Tdu2 still has some online players but through a proxy client.
