Crafty Tuesday: Make a Framework for Your Papier Mâché Character, with Sarah Hand

🎬 Tune in for our next Domestika Live with Sarah Hand, an artist and teacher who specializes in papier mâché!
🔥Sarah Hand is an artist who specializes in papier mâché. She also teaches at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, The Visual Arts Center of Richmond​​, online, and at retreats. In this Live, she shows you how to make an armature (framework) for a papier mâché character. Would you like to join her?
You will need:
Aluminum foil
Masking tape
Hot glue and a hot glue gun
A small piece of thin wire (optional, to make a loop for hanging)
Thin sticks like bamboo skewers, chopsticks, dowels which will be used for legs
Scissors.

But im.Having really big problems with varnish
I wanted to ask you if I could do paper mache with no varnish? Can I get away with not using varnish ? Hope you can help
