Yes sir. The PVC "sleeve" slides over the top of the glued up 2x4s. Snug fit...didn't even need screws to secure the PVC to the core post. I actually meant to make it a bit looser. Cut the PVC a bit too small. Actually had to use a spokeshave to whittle the post down a bit so it would slide on. haha
