In this 1 hour special, we retrace the steps of the young Ahmed Deedat, travelling from India to South Africa as a 9 year old and the sacrifices and challenges he experienced as a young man. We explore how he began to discover the truth about Islam and the brilliance of the Quran which guided him to the call to humanity.
His challenges in the early years, his greatest debate and his later life, everything is presented in this bio-pic for the viewer to learn from and enjoy.
Ahmed Deedat is a towering figure in the world of Islam, "Golden Years" is in honour of his 40 years of Dawah in defence of the truth.

Love Ahmed Deedat, One of the main reason I came to Islam

I am amazed by that man, with his powerful and logical answers ! May Allah (swt) be very pleased him and give him a place in Jannat-ul-Firdaws !
He change my life ! and one of a true teacher in Modern Islam, also he make me think i am not crazy what i feel is true about Christian religion!!!!!!!! May Allah grant him the best of hereafter!!!!
Alhumdulillah! I pray that Allah(swt) grant Sheik Ahmed Deedat mercy, blessings, and jannah. Through videos of his debates and lectures surfacing on UA-cam I have learned so much, picking up and reading the Bible and being blown away by what so much of Christianity & the "Church" overlooks, chooses not to follow, or doesn't talk about. I'm an infant in Islam(August 2015) and ever since I started "digging"-- doing some research and reading the Glorious Qur'an, I've come to realize I'm getting "dirty": in that I'm learning so much truth contrary to what my Christian upbringing taught me. The Glorious Qur'an spells things out as clear as day for anyone who is willing to read it with an open heart and mind-- and also willing to really ponder on what Allah(swt) is saying. I pray more people see Sheik Ahmed Deedat's videos and come to really the truth.

i came upon one of ahmed deedats vhs casette in my father's closet when i was a child. it was the debate between him and pastor stanley sjoberg. Pastor sjoberg, made a claim while delivering his lecture that if you believe in jesus nothing will happen to you. At the questions time a questioner asked the pastor to take a poison which he(questioner) brought with him but the pastor was scared to death and was unable to do so. It made so happy seeing how the pastor was defeated. Ever since i got accustomed to Ahmed Deedat Videos. i think i watched almost if not all and every time he never ceases amaze me. Wallah i get goosebumps and tears sometimes the way he deals with questions posed to him logically and rationally. He is indeed a great scholar and may Allah S.W.T reward him with Jannatul Al-firdau. Ameen
my inspiration. I have never come across a brave man like Ahmed Deedat in my life. he showed the reality to the Christians of their bibles. May Allah reward him with Janatul Fardos.

I have been looking for a long time to know more about the life of this Great Man, and now it is right in front of me the video of "Ahmad Deedat". I love and like him so so much that I bought all his books sold in the book-store in the city I live. He was a Hero and will always be my HERO..!

"Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom & beautiful preaching;
& argue with them in ways that are best & most gracious:
for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path,
& who receive guidance." [16:125]
"Who is better in speech than one who calls (men) to Allah,
works righteousness, & says, "I am of those who bow in Islam"?" [41:33]
O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger making clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture and overlooking much. There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book.

The Muslim needs to always be polite, humble, patient, loving and well mannered when he/she deals with others, whether they were Muslims or non-Muslims. Allah Almighty certainly doesn't love those who are offensive and rude to others
