This lecture was delivered on February 21, 1992, at Dataran Merdeka Square, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Sheikh Ahmed Deedat:
In 1986, the King Faisal Foundation awarded the King Faisal International Prize for SERVICE TO ISLAM, to a South African who is more or better known than many dignitaries in their own countries. This was the first time that this prestigious award has been awarded to a South African. The recipient of this award was a man totally dedicated to his faith and its propagation and who was not afraid to challenge any one to a debate to settle once and for all the matter, who has the good news right? He was none other than Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, reverently known and called UNCLE by those who hold him in high esteem and admiration.
The award came after a lifetime of struggle to propagate Islam and to defend Islam against the onslaught of the missionaries. Finally, he was given recognition by the international Muslim community that he deserved and focused more sharply the attention of the Muslim world on the most important aspect of his work, the challenge to propagate Islam. This was his life long ambition to focus the Muslim world's attention and resources on the propagation of Islam, and at last he succeeded. What a moment of jubilation, achievement and personal gratification for Sheikh Deedat the award was, a turning point in his life.
Sheikh Deedat did not have much formal schooling, but he was self-taught through experience and a penchant for reading, debating, discussion, and a profound sense of commitment to a mission and goal. He was driven and goal oriented. He was focused and never let up until the job was done. He was sharp, perceptive, forthright, fiery, and daring in his challenge of those whom he debated, particularly against those who equal his missionary zeal and sense of audacity. Formal schooling did not destroy his creative prowess, his tenacity, ambition, drive, and sheer daring to swim upstream.
Sheikh Deedat was more a scholar of the Bible than the Qur'an, and was more familiar and adroit with its teachings. He had an insight and perspective of the Bible which made many Christians he came into contact with rethink and re-examine their faith, particularly those aspects of the Bible and the Qur'an that deal with the divine mission and life of Prophet Jesus.
On May 3, 1996, Sheikh Ahmed Deedat suffered a stroke which left him paralyzed from the neck down, and also meant that he could no longer speak or swallow. He was flown to a hospital in Riyadh, where he was taught to communicate through a series of eye-movements. He spent the last nine years of his life in a bed in his home in Verulam, South Africa, encouraging people to engage in da'wah. He continued to receive hundreds of letters of support from around the world. During these years, rumors spread throughout the Internet that he was already dead, and even some websites that contained his pamphlets mentioned as early as 2002 that he was dead.
On August 8, 2005, Ahmed Deedat finally succumbed to his prolonged illness and died at his home in Trevennen Road, Verulam in the province of KwaZulu Natal.
Sad that I'm still a kid when he come to Malaysia. If I'm bigger than that surely i will come to see him and hear his lecture. May Allah bless his soul and placed him among all good people..

I was 7 years old when he came and give his speech here in Malaysia... I did not know him... nor heard his name... Now, im 27 years old and thanks to the net... Ive manage to watch and old man stand firm, loud and fierce in The Name of Allah. Sad that even when he passed away... i still did not know it... though i still missed him. He is without doubt one among of the True Inspired Muslim. May he rest in Peace. Your voice.... Echo forever in my heart :)

I have been in Malaysia for the past 6 years, Actually people are not bad but they are very ignorant in terms of religion. Actually the problem from the government they don't want to preach or teach the Islam for the people and unfortunately won't allow scholars . to preach. I hope this problem will solve InshAllah

It is very difficult to accept and digest the truth. Suddenly during the lecture the chairman comes to Mr. Deedat, and asks him to change the topic, as was shown in screen. But I wonder, why ? Who were behind this ? Why the chairman asked to change the topic ?

Syeikh deliver his speech to a massive crowd in an open venue with topic that really really sensitive in Malaysia and that might upset some community as Malaysia are multiracial country. The pressure to stop his speech are coming from the Christian Church and also from the Christian ministers from the Malaysia cabinet itself. The organiser then was under pressure from police to stop the event. May Allah grant Syeikh Ahmed Deedat His jannah to all his work that he have done to Islam. AL-FATIHAH.

Alhamdulilah, now Malaysia is improving. More Malaysian Muslims starting to realize their ignorant mistakes towards Islam. I can't put everything in details in here (for security reasons). But, now Malaysia is showered with truth about Islam. The hipocrite leadership is shivering in fear of losing power to the reform Muslims! Allahu Akbar! Those who are telling lies are free to tell and spread the lie in the world. They are afraid of the truth. They don't even allow others to tell what is there in their book, the Bible. They want others to read and see their Bible with their eyes and ears and heart. Whatever they say, they want others to believe that, no one should apply logic and conscience while reading the Bible. They stopped Mr. Deedat from telling the truth about Moses(AS) Jesus(AS) and Muhammad (PBUH) and Mr. Deedat had to change the topic. How powerful the devil has become !

This video was uploaded seven years ago. Sheikh Ahmed Deedat during his speech once asked the audience if anyone has seen the devil. I guess the audience must have seen the devil in the form of the chairman.

Ahmad Didat wa the most false muslim scholar.He was hypocrite and deceiver.Surely God has given him a just reward...in hell.He was a very clever and diabolic sophist,he use the same word,for example, translation instead of version of the Bible. So he said that the Bible has many versions instead of many translations.People was not always aware for the difference between the two words.He was a deceiver and a liar.

What a poor fairy tale! Unlike the God YHWH in the Bible, Allah in Islam was a copycat god who could not show his real existence, how could Deedat be a message of truth for a VAIN god Allah?
Note that Allah in Islam was a vain god who required Muslims to fight and die for his sake, and who required Muslims to bow down around one stone for daily worship. :=))

The Bible NEVER said Jesus prayed to God or Allah John Doe (who was invented later for worship around one stone in Mecca), but Jesus set a good example to pray to his Father in heaven only (not the stone god in Mecca or a pagan god).
