Yeah, but he also said they would be ready against GB and... well there's that. The defense has no pass rush. The DBs are too far off the ball. And the offense can't carry them. One OL out is causing big issues for Goff. Say what you want, but without looking at the schedule, when was the last time this team had a convincing win?
@@echodun The Oline is not the same without Jackson .He is the best it seems allowing them to run the ball .Without no holes. With drive a truck through.

The last game he wanted to talk to Dan because they won lol Dan kept it classy and didn’t do him the same.
I mean 8-3 is awesome for the lions I've been watching them since I was a little kid and every season was ok but this year it's just amazing to see it hopefully we can get to 9-3
On one hand, what you say is true, especially in terms of experience. On the other hand they have proven they can beat just about anyone on a given day. Either way, they gotta go out there like they're trying to win the Superbowl.
Hes right. You typically lose when you turnover the ball, everything else almost becomes irrelevant if you give teams the ball and they get extra possessions. If they took care of the ball they would have beat the Packers
The amount of pressure on goff has been horrid, it can’t be his fault if he’s literally pressured like crazy. Jonah being out is a lot bigger then we thought fr. All pressure is going to sorsdal to the point he had to get pulled.
Not sorsdal, glasgow was on his back all game. Sorsdal is a rookie, but glasgow was the problem last game. GB defensive line is very good. Shows what a good line can do to a good offense. Lions cant seem to understand that.

Interesting how there are things that he doesn't want to say to the media, so in some of his answers they become a bit vague. It's understandable. I feel very confident in this team. After the lucky Chicago win, can't even get mad with a loss against a beat up green bay squad. Wouldn't be a true thanksgiving without a lions L. Hopefully a little rest will help.
I wanna see the Defense make a stand this week. To let the Bears and packers take opening drives 75-80 yrds for TDs(the Packers the 1st 2) is concerning. Another guy besides Hutchinson needs to emerge at rushing the passer
Dan you are right about turnover ratio but two other things you know that your not being honest about : keep Goff clean and knock around the opposing QB
Why do some of you fair weather fans struggle with admitting that the opposition played a part of their game well? I like Jared a whole hell of a lot, but he does NOT have that IT factor that the élite QB's do. He is streaky and struggles against top 10 passing defenses, especially on the road and in weather. He has improved marginally but I am not sure how much growth is left. What bothers me the most though is the missed opportunity plays with Goff. It is bad enough that he is not very mobile and that he struggles to not only extend plays from within the pocket, and outside of it, no, it is the ball security in the pocket with Goff that scares me the most. But what really, really bothers me is being in person at that game and seeing how often a later progression is wide open and Goff just does not see it and ends up making a non-optimal decision. It is a little like Ben Johnson said about our run game with Jamal and Swift, the yards that we we're not getting that we should have. While the example with Goff is a bit different, it highlights the difference between Stafford and him and why the Rams traded him. With Goff, it seems like he really struggles to play off schedule. And that is the IT factor that I see missing there. He is a good QB, we could even win one or two with him, but I have seen enough, it is what it is.
I laugh at all of the negative comments. 8-3 really? That is a damn good record. If the ball bounced a different way, or a few passes didn't get tipped, we might be 9-2. He is ignoring the elephant in the room. This team has not played the hard physical football they have played to get to this point. The Packers were by far the more physical team. If they can put forth the effort AND limit the turnovers they will win the division.
The way this team has played the last 3 weeks, I only see one more winnable game and that’s the Saints game. I don’t think they are beating Chicago, I think Minnesota is gonna sweep them, Dallas is too good on defense, and Denver has figured it out. 9-8 here we come. 11-6 at ABSOLUTE BEST

Goff shouldnt break the line if scrimmage period. Id rather him throw it away.
Even when he wasnt pressured, Goff couldnt hit anyone in stride. Either over their heads or behind them.
When wasn't he pressured? 🤣
The Lions need to play better at home,oh they its so loud and tough place to play,4-2 at home not good enough
The last 4 games have not been good, they squeaked out 2 wins, got embarrassed by the Ravens and spanked by the Packers.
Something is wrong.
Fix that damn defense already. Should Aaron Glenn be let go?
Defense wasn’t the problem last game . Goff and the oline were
Honestly I don’t know what I want him to say, but you’re not good or close on defense!!!! He’s the best coach I’ve seen in forever for the Lions but you’re defense has serious issues!
We aren’t going to do anything come the play offs lol
We just getting STARTED!! Marching up the FIELD!!!! GO LIONS 🦁
These fair weather fans can kick rocks. We have some of the most miserable fans right now and we tied the best Lions record in 60 years coming into Thanksgiving😂 Yes there are concerns from the game but no team is perfect this year. This team FEEDS on adversity, I’m confident they’ll figure enough things out to get us into the playoffs and maybe a win! I pity the Saints having to face a motivated Lions team, imagine how hard St is hitting the jugs rn. Ain’t no way these Lions aren’t bringing their A game next week!
I don't care what any of you thinks. For Myself the lions has not done anything yet and I am not trusting anything. Yall kool aid fans need chill out judging people. Period.
Everyone is worried about Minnesota (thanks bears!)You had better not sleep on Green Bay! Their schedule is the easiest of the three
To me, the next game will tell it all because if you can’t bounce back off of two terrible games then uh ohhhh
Lions defense is good enough,we need to outscore u
Defense sucks I jus dnt understand how we dnt get better on Defense out corners are horrible same about dline other than Hutchinson there's no push an our linebackers are bad to
I’m both a saints and lions fan. I’m serious. Should be able to get back on track and steamroll them because they are atrocious.
I believe in goff in hooker at second string quarterback in they should rotate like Montgomery in Gibbs it'll be awesome if thats possible
How can you believe in hooker he has never taken the NFL snap. Guess what Teddy Bridgewater gets the job done if something happens to our starter not hooker
@@itinerantpatriot1196 i believe it should work now
He is ignoring the elephant in the room. This team has not played the hard physical football they have played to get to this point. The Packers were by far the more physical team. If they can put forth the effort AND limit the turnovers they will win the division.
Lets trade for justin fields, any running QB gotta have someone who can move back there
The way this team has played the last 3 weeks, I only see one more winnable game and that’s the Saints game.
I don’t think they are beating Chicago, I think Minnesota is gonna sweep them, Dallas is too good on defense, and Denver has figured it out.
9-8 here we come. 11-6 at ABSOLUTE BEST
u not a real fan bro go be a vikings fan
11-6 wins the division
Yeah this guy is delusional thinking that the Bears the Vikings or the Broncos have any sort of guaranteed wins coming up, let alone against a hungry on the rise Lions team. All 3 of those other teams have had way more sus games this year, and their records show it🤷 Not guaranteeing the Lions 6 straight wins, but c’mon, it’s not gonna be a walk in the park for most of these games no matter who wins. Vikings sweeping us is absolutely asinine
