I bought so many wine books and your video show me how easy it is using 2 fermentators. I bought them at the dollar store with the spigot. Strawberry wine was my first one I made, then pineapple, and cranberry wine. Thank you so much for teaching us how to make fruit wines.

You can ferment practically anything that has carbohydrates (sugars.) Fruit, grain, honey, potatoes. You can even ferment wood and paper, but it is not recommended because you can end up making methyl alcohol if you do not know what you are doing, which will make you blind and/or mentally disabled permanently if you consume it.
I followed the recipe, it went pretty well I managed to get about 2 bottles, I finished one and storing the other. I also used the same steps and used red plums instead of the strawberries, still waiting to open up a bottle so we will see how it tastes!
I started 2kg strawberry wine following your video. It's 7 days now. Going good. I will update the results soon. Even I prepared grape wine and pineapple wine following your recipe. It has come really good. Thanks...
I made this 1088 original gravity. I added fresh strawberry 2.5kg plus 10kg grapes... 4 litre water + sugar+ 10 gram wine yeast... Final gravity 996... excellent ... I started wine making since lockdown with ups and down. Now i m perfect becoz of ur videos. Thanks🍷👌🤪

@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato how will i know when the first fermentation is done? its bubbling like crazy and actually the first night it over flowed into the airlock....
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato okay so bottled the wine today with a little sugar to make it fizzy.... took a taste (couldn't wait) and its "spectacular"! smooth, dry, and a little tart. its almost like a rose of pinot noir. really quite lovely. came out cloudy, though so maybe next time I will add some pectic enzyme to clear it up.
If I were to do it, I would: 1) (after boiling) put the strawberries in the blender. This way, every part, inside and outside, will be fermented equally 2) (after 3 weeks of fermentation) transfer and filter the wine into a same-sized container. Use a handkerchief to filter the wine from the pulp. Squeeze the handkerchief to extract the remaining wine from the pulp. (The extracted wine is still cloudy at this point) *NOTE: A small thin cloth (handkerchief) will let you collect as much wine as possible. Because... if you use a thick towel, much wine will be IN the towel 3) Wait a few days and the wine will get clearer, sediments will be at the bottom. Siphon out the clear wine (into bottles) except the bottom part. (There's still drinkable wine in the bottom part, don't waste it) (you may want to add some sugar (about 10 grams per liter) into those bottles if you want the wine be sweeter and sparkling.) 4) Slowly and carefully, pour into a small wide-mouth jar the remaining liquid... with as little sediments as possible. (the remaining liquid is a bit cloudy at this point) 5) Wait again a few more days and the wine in the small jar will get clearer, sediments will be at the bottom. Use a syringe and its needle, slowly extract the remaining clear liquid. Either drink it (REMOVE THE NEEDLE FIRST) ...or put it with the rest on the wine. (Then throw out the sediments) 6) ENJOY!
So blending the strawberries will release a lot of bitterness from the seeds. Straining the liquid can also over oxidise the wine though won't matter as much if your drinking it young. I would reccomend putting the strawberries in a mesh bag and just removing them when they are extracted.
Followed your recipe the wine came out very good, I added some more ingredients and got about 4 bottles of wine. Where I live (Oxnard, California) we are known for strawberries we actually have a festival where you get the sweetest berries you will ever taste in America. In general we grow a lot of produce in this area berries, plums, cherry, lemons, orange, all kinds of vegetables - do you think I can use the same technique to make wine out plums or blackberry? Thanks, really enjoy your videos!
Making strawberry wine is very similar with most fruit wines. The difference is the yeasts you use. Also you want the least amount of headspace you can get away with. With more head space you run the risk of oxidation of the wine.
I’m going to do this but with my frozen raspberries. I’ve made your banana wine twice now. Home made wine is the best! Thanks again for another great video 💝
I've just finished secondary fermentation and I have tasted my strawberry wine. It's a little bit sweet but I like it. I will bottle it in a few days. Thanks for your instructions.

1) it's better to cook the strawberries or at list reach the boiling point to kill the yeast on them 2) 3) the taste not but help to preserve it. 4) yes you can use it. I prefer too

You're just great. I love making wines ,will try this soon. You should try some sugar cane wine it's my favorite and it's really good. It only requires -Sugar cane -Brown Sugar -Yeast - a cinnamon stick or two - and a few cloves about 5 pairs And ferment for 21 days . That's it ...enjoy .🥂🍾🍷
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato you are welcome.👍 Do make sure to give it a try.👌🤗☺ The water has to be one inch above the sugar cane and I add a pound of sugar to 1 liters water. And you don't have to boil it Just add everything and ferment for 21 days. 😉
Hi Andrea, I made this following the instructions. I left in primary 1 week and secondary 22 days as I was away. I was so sure it was done I filled up my bottles and took a gravity sample late. I was surprised to see gravity of only 1030. Temp has been about 19-20c. So two questions - any idea why the fermentation stalled or went slowly? It tastes fine and is a bit sweet. Lastly, should I be worried about bottled exploding as I put in priming sugar. Thank you.
Your videos are very informative. Thanks for that. what is the reason for boiling the fruit and the time period of boiling the fruit? If the fruit should be boiled then which type of fruits should be boiled? Thanks in advance for your reply!
Hi, thanks for this video. I made the wine according to yours but.. but I forgot to add in the lemon juice. I only found the blinking lemon hiding under the dish rag after I had put the whole concoction into the fermenter and was cleaning up. Will the wine still work? Thanks for any advice
Love the way you say “spectacular”😂❤️ I have a question about that if i want to make a large amount of strawberry wine, what is the quicker way? It takes a looot of time if i want to make something about +20 kilograms of strawberries. Is there any way?🤔
Can i make this wine using the grapes like you did in the pomegranate wine?? Kindly let me know. And what should be the ideal temperature for fermenting wine?? Thanks in advance 👍👍
Oh man I really love you especially when you test it at the end and say "spectacular!" with that hand movement. Thanks for the videos. I will definitely come to see you and your country some day after pandemic )
Hi there ! 🖖🏼 Thanks for ur recipes, love them and definitely want to try it. 😋 I just have one question. When u do the fermentation in the bottle, do u store the bottles in the fridge or just in a cool dark place like a garage? 🤔
Wonderful video! I absolutely love your channel and all your work! Would it be possible to use this recipe but switch the strawberries with tart cherries??
I started immediately last night, I prepared for rice wine too, but now I'm confused, I got the yeast from Brewhaus, that say "high spirit, turbo 48" 14% alcohol in 48 hours, is this yeast correct? I used it for strawberry wine last night, but I haven't it added in the rice. Is this correct? Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much for your fast reply! Yes, I'll follow your instructions! I'll be back showing the results! Keep your great life and spirit! Thanks again!
Hi, does it matter what kind of brew yeast we use? and do we have to calculate initial gravity for this recipe? because you already have calculated it. Also, do we have to sanitize the equipment? and do both fermenter have air lock? Thanks
The exact kind of yeast is in his other video (watermelon wine) - but any yeast will work fine. If making wine, use wine yeast etc. YES you must always steralise brew equipment AND bottles. Don't use any in-brew chemical, just use a steri-tablet when you wash everything before you begin. YES both fermenter have airlocks. The only difference between first and second fermenter is the tap to easily separate the wine from the sediment. No syphoning required that way. Less mess. If you want less strong wine then use less sugar in initial fermentation stage. His other videos show rough figures to use for kvass/beer strength brew. 😁👌
@@enessolhan prego 🤞 remember that hygeine is most important in home brewing. bad brew is always because of bacteria contaminating. steralising everything is pointless if you stir with dirty spoon or pick your nose etc. 😂
Grazie mitico!
Signore, do you suggest doing the first fermentation without the airlock? And the second fermentation with the airlock, Grazie,
Yes but only few days
Really like your videos about making different kind of wine.
Love it here in Denmark 👍🏻
Thanks 😊 greetings from Italy
Looks spectacular!!!
Thanks 😃
Looked stunning. Love fermenting foods my self. And making Mead. Going to give this a go too.
Bravo
Thank you for the great video! I wonder why you didn't squeeze the strawberries in this recipe and used them whole?
You can do it 👍🏼
Cool. Im gonna have to try this and mix it with a pale ale. Why is the black tea for ?
To add tannins 😉👍🏼 let us know when you taste it
Thank u sooomuch . My strawberry wine came out to be super strong and lovely
🤪 spectacular
Looks delicious 😍😍
It is 😉
Do I need to keep it in the dark for fermentation? Starting my first wine at this very moment.
Yes 👍🏼 better dark place
Your wine and beer videos are too good
Hi Andrea, I made this following the instructions. Thank you.
😬 1030 it’s little bit high
What about the original gravity?
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato it was 1070.
Yes 🤔 the bottles can explode
Excellent!!! What is the purpose of tea bag??
👍🏼 to add tannins
Great recipes, thank you so much!
Welcome 😀
Your videos are very informative. Thanks for that.
what is the reason for boiling the fruit and the time period of boiling the fruit?
If the fruit should be boiled then which type of fruits should be boiled?
Thanks in advance for your reply!
I boiled it because I want to kill the wild yeast but it’s not necessary 😉 up to you
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato thank you
Welcome 😉 keep us updated
It was a delicious Recipe!!! Spectacular!!!!! one question i want to increase this recipe by 5 times, what would the correct recipe be?
You should multiply all the ingredients for 5 times 😉
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato even the strawberries and yeast?
The strawberries yes 👍🏼
The yeast 10 grams will be enough

Sir can you tell me what is the role of black tea in wine making I love your videos and I can see you are using black tea in most of your wine.
To add tannins
I'll try the black tea, I usually use a table to keep my wine from fermenting any further after bottling
Ok, I never used tables
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato tablet
Nice! Another good video man! I was surprised you didn't chop the strawberries. Maybe it will add more flavor to it.
If you have fresh strawberries is better to cut them in 2 😉
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato Yup! I forgot the ones in the video were frozen :)
😉👍🏼
Hi, thanks for this video. I made the wine according to yours but.. but I forgot to add in the lemon juice. I only found the blinking lemon hiding under the dish rag after I had put the whole concoction into the fermenter and was cleaning up. Will the wine still work? Thanks for any advice
Don’t worry 👍🏼 it will be fine
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato thank you!

Love the way you say “spectacular”😂❤️
I have a question about that if i want to make a large amount of strawberry wine, what is the quicker way? It takes a looot of time if i want to make something about +20 kilograms of strawberries. Is there any way?🤔
Same way, there is not shortcut. The first time try with small amount
Super👌🏻👌🏻
Thanks
Can i make this wine using the grapes like you did in the pomegranate wine?? Kindly let me know. And what should be the ideal temperature for fermenting wine??
Thanks in advance 👍👍
Yes 👍🏼 you can
22*C degrees more or less
@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato Grapes juice only or the whole smashed bunch ?
@nadeemahmad-ci4nt up to you
Do we need to sanitize the fermenter and the bottle like we usually do when brewing a beer?
Yes 👍🏼 always better
Oh man I really love you especially when you test it at the end and say "spectacular!" with that hand movement. Thanks for the videos. I will definitely come to see you and your country some day after pandemic )
😂👍🏼
Hi there ! 🖖🏼 Thanks for ur recipes, love them and definitely want to try it. 😋 I just have one question. When u do the fermentation in the bottle, do u store the bottles in the fridge or just in a cool dark place like a garage? 🤔
Room temperature or cool dark place like garage 👍🏼
Wonderful video! I absolutely love your channel and all your work! Would it be possible to use this recipe but switch the strawberries with tart cherries??
You can try 👍🏼
I have to try this one too! Delicioso!
Yes, let us know when you taste it 😉
And please share the videos 😃
I started immediately last night, I prepared for rice wine too, but now I'm confused, I got the yeast from Brewhaus, that say "high spirit, turbo 48" 14% alcohol in 48 hours, is this yeast correct? I used it for strawberry wine last night, but I haven't it added in the rice. Is this correct? Thank you for sharing!
Yes. But wait more than 48 hours. wait that the fermentation finish
Thanks so much for your fast reply! Yes, I'll follow your instructions! I'll be back showing the results! Keep your great life and spirit! Thanks again!
👍
Hi, does it matter what kind of brew yeast we use? and do we have to calculate initial gravity for this recipe? because you already have calculated it. Also, do we have to sanitize the equipment? and do both fermenter have air lock? Thanks
The exact kind of yeast is in his other video (watermelon wine) - but any yeast will work fine. If making wine, use wine yeast etc. YES you must always steralise brew equipment AND bottles. Don't use any in-brew chemical, just use a steri-tablet
when you wash everything before you begin. 😁👌
@@cgavin1 thank you.
@@enessolhan prego 🤞 remember that hygeine is most important in home brewing. bad brew is always because of bacteria contaminating. steralising everything is pointless if you stir with dirty spoon or pick your nose etc. 😂
Ciao Andrea,
Grazie mitico!
Great videos. Will be making this and the mango wine. Will the taste of the wine be any different if a glass fermenter is used instead of plastic?
👍🏼 glass is always better 😉

When i transfer from first fermenter to secondary fermenter, should i have sediments in to secondary fermenter?
No , you move the wine in the second fermenter to remove the sediment
What is the purpose of the tea, and would it pose a problem if it is not included?
To add tannins, if you can use tea the wine will be better but if you can not have tea you can skip it
Hi im a new fan of yours. Can I use a glass jug with plastic dispenser as fermenter bottle instead of plastic jugs?
