Nightwish songs, you don't get tired of, you want to hear more and more of. You double faced carnivore, love it. Floor never disappoints, she only gets better every time you hear her.
What happened is that Floor hit a perfect D6 in a spectacular banshee wail. :D She can do anything, that lady.
But yes, I think you might like Yours Is An Empty Hope, Song of Myself and I might suggest Wish I Had An Angel from the Wacken show too!
She hit F6 on that earlier in the tour btw.
This is the only group I ever heard that could make symphonic, operetta and heavy metal work together, totally amazing, and they have two of the finest female leads I ever heard, fantastic band!

Agree, this a perfect next step, especially because Mana seems to like the rougher side of Nightwish. At first I didn't even notice it, I thought Marco (the bass player) did it. It's good to see somebody showing Marco some love. He also has a great voice, not to mention that he looks like a freaking badass viking.
A little different from Ghost Love Score, eh? Nightwish is very diverse in their music.
They were back-to-back on the Once album, too. Romanticide was Track 8 and Ghost Love Score was Track 9.

I'm and 65 year old Floyd fan but Marcos High Hopes is to die for as a cover version.
Not all great bands eminate from either the states or the UK .

Well, you asked for songs..... I've got a few 😅
-yours is an empty hope (I think you've read this suggestion a few times, but it's a great song)
-weak fantasy (not as heavy as romanticide , but still really metaly)
-phantom of the opera (search for the 2005 live version, you absolutely won't regret it)
-greatest show on earth (live at tampere; 21 minutes long but it's ABSOLUTELY worth it)
-scaretale (I know no other song that's creepy in the way this song is)
-storytime (just proposing it bc it's one of my personal favorites)
And if you decide to look into within temptation, I'd suggest you do either 'paradise(what about us?)' or 'and we run'
You experienced what is commonly called the Floor-Gasam effect, you will be ok, the effect will pass in a few minutes. Watch Ghost River if you want to hear her growl as well..

Great reaction! Their music is very diverse and has a lot to offer, they had 3 singers overall so I think you should check some other songs where you can hear that diversity with different singers as well! Subscribed :)
My suggestion is one of their performances with their first singer Tarja called Phantom of The Opera, that's my favourite live.

Great reaction. Nightwish is so diverse that you can go on reacting and being surprised every time. I would suggest one song I love performed at Wembley Arena: SHUDDER BEFORE THE BEAUTIFUL. But try with any song and you wont be disapointed.
You need to watch that whole show. It's fantastic. Look up Planet Hell, Floor did a version but she didn't do the full song because she had 48 hours to learn it and it was the first time she had performed with the band. Another heavier one is Yours Is an Empty Hope and Weak Fantasy (live at Wembley, it's literally my most played song on spotify). Also, Scaretale. I'm going to check out your reaction to The Poet and The Pendulum to see if you liked it, if you did... there's another recommendation: The Greatest Show on Earth live at Tampere.

This is more of a song for heavy metal fans. Nightwish is not just a symphonic metal band, its more. And floor can give out any voice she wants, idk if there is anything she cant sing. Great reaction video, keep it up. More nightwish please almost all their songs with floor is masterpiece.

Hi Mana this is the absolute best and most honest reaction video I have ever watched ..so just rock on young lady...! I´m into lots of music you love like Gojira and Meshuggah but also lots of other bands vikingstuff metal like Amon Amarth and Brothers of Metal and Månegarm. In the 80-ies it was Iron Maiden, Saxon, Metallica, Helloween, Manowar, Accept, Scorpions, AC/DC, Ozzy, Venom, Moetly Crue, W.A.S.P, Mercyful fate ...with age I realize that I like lots of music and that I´m not static..like I was when I was younger..lol...I had a period when I only listened to Metallica "Kill e´m all" - album...it was just the hardest meanest music at that time and I refused to listen to other music for 1-2 years..! now I can listen to a new band and fall for them in a minute...but never as intense as I did with Metallica....! Nightwish is a band i discovered late...I have known about them but never listened to them and I have to say they are soo soo good and tight these guys know what they are doing.

One of the best reactions I have seen or heard, great job. Sitting with your mouth open at the end was priceless and that is how many first timers feel after this!
