I have gone down 3 rabbits holes that had a huge impact in my life. Pink Floyd when I was a kid. Tool was the next one that I was completely obsessed with. I must say Nightwish was the most rewarding and intense rabbit hole for me personally. I really do think Floor has the most beautiful voice in the world and with the magic from Tuomas´s compositions I find Nightwish to be the band of my life. The emotions I feel from Nightwish are so real and magical. Smile ear to ear :)

Nightwish are incredible every time. They are soo different and so awesome every single time . All three singers are special and they give us so many more versions of tuomas genius. I love Tarja and Anette and enjoy all their work but wow Floor makes me tear up and have goose bumps . Incredible and of course the Nightwish Family are so supportive and do connect with each other .

This was not logical at all since Floor was completely unknown to the vast majority of that 82,000+ crowd. Let me try to paint you a picture: Please imagine you're one of the 82,000+ avid Nightwish/Metal fans present there at Wacken, a small northern German town famous for it's annual Metal Festival (the largest in the world). It's August 2013 and, well informed as you are, you know that the band had to dismiss their previous (second) front woman Anette Olzon due to falling ill (she was pregnant as well) in the midst of their North America Tour September/October 2012. They decided to hire Floor as a temporary replacement for the rest of the North American, South American and European Tour. Fresh from her sister's wedding Floor jumped on a plane across the ocean knowing she had to learn the set list in the next 48 hours to come. Well, she killed it over there and made a name for herself in the Americas. So now at Wacken the European fans would get to know her. Some of them might have known Floor from her previous bands After Forever and ReVamp as I do but for the majority she was an empty page in Nightwish's book. I guess no-one worried if she could replace Anette who was not too famous for her live performances. No, the real question was: can she fill Tarja Turunen's boots, Nightwish's first front woman who was fired in 2005. Anette could not, to make this clear. So imagine the suspense, imagine the anxiety. The atmosphere during this show was electrifying and shows on every single video that's made of it. Also let's not forget every song from this concert previously was performed - live or in studio - by either of her two predecessors. It's only logic to presume Floor being compared to either Tarja or Anette. Well, Floor entered the stage, sang her first notes and the rest is history. History captured throughout this Wacken 2013 concert which in hindsight is considered to be their best live performance to date. Keep that Nightwish Train going and you'll be surprised that they keep surprising you!

I fell in love with the music of this bans 6 months ago. Listened to EVERYTHING I could find(OMG there is SO MUCH)and then I discovered the WORDS in the songs. This band will entertain me for many years because they are so different, so often. Evolution of their music is constant. I am 73 and I have found new joy in this wacky world. Anette? As a spooky fan yourself, check out Nightwish track titled Scaretale. Oh, make sure it is the Official Live video from Nightwish channel because there are other Scaretale video with mix footage of concerts and Imaginaerum movie scenes (also known as Imaginaerum by Nightwish -more info about this project will be provided in due course, or just ask 😅) This song will always be Anette's; and it (along with Slow Love Slow) really showcase her diversity and strength as a singer. For this song, Tuomas' instruction to Anette was "...imagine being in a nightmare and being the evil witch in the story Hansel & Gretel. This one was written for the second singer, Annette, who is absolutly a great vocalist but she's a pretty clear cut pop singer. Hence the rather different sound. Their song *Amaranth* is a very good example.

Did you hear about Floors operation for Gall bladder stones? Lots of stones, Emppu now calls her "Stonhenge". Then she goes and sings whilst recovering, "Euphoria", now called "Euflooria" by her fans.
Floor has said herself that she is a highly sensitive person and I think that makes her such an amazing singer (on top of her years of training). She makes me feel emotions unlike any other singer I’ve ever heard. She truly puts herself into the performance 🖤
I would like to suggest you to react Wintersun - Sons of Winter and Stars live rehearsal at Sonic Pump Studios remastered. Wintersun is finnish metal band and Jari Mäenpää is mastermind behind the band and composes all the songs. Welcome to the Army.. Definitely expect to be surprised on every song. Because not only are the songs unique to each other, the albums have different feels to them.. This is the tail end if their 18 month Imaginaerun ablum world tour. many songs here have a mystical/fantasy vibe. Next album may have more of a power metal sound. They even have songs with a bit of the Celtic folk/rock kind of sound Every song is almost like listening to Nightwish for the first time. But, no matter the basic style of sound they are going for, they will all have those signature symphonic elements.. Those strings, horns or choir vocals that add all those extra layers to the music.. Makes the music sound so much more rich, full, complete to me.

No two songs are the same, and they are all distinctly Nightwish. I'm really enjoying your Nightwish journey and I suggest that you follow your heart as to what to explore next. The music videos, those released as such, are often a problem for reactors but there's much online of the studio albums. With those you get to hear what Tuomas can do in a studio. It's jaw dropping. I agree with what you said about Storytime, but Ghost Love Score seems to be the #1 most reacted to song on the tubes so that's where everyone generally starts from. Storytime is usually the most recommended song for a second reaction then, and that's exactly because it's one of the most accessible Nightwish songs for people who aren't necessarily metalheads. In that vein Ever Dream from the same concert is usually the next most recommended song because it's right up there in the accessibility department, and it's often the first time a reactor gets to hear Marco sing. You already did a little sidestep and a twirl with the Poet reaction so you're aware of what Marco can do, and that might take away a bit of the novelty of choosing Ever Dream. It's still usually the #3 stop for aspiring Nightwish reactors, and it tends to flow really well in that continuum. For me the biggest song left out of the Wacken 2013 that you haven't reacted to is easily Song of Myself, it's a slightly longer one too and has multiple parts to it. Then if you want to switch gears once again for something quite different I'd recommend Romanticide for that. It's funny about the "connection" because most in this audience probably hadn't heard her sing these songs before. She wasn't even signed full time at this point. So this was both a revelation and a renaissance for them. I feel that Floor joining the band in the middle of this Tour also invigorated the fans and the band.

I would like to suggest you to react Wintersun - Sons of Winter and Stars live rehearsal at Sonic Pump Studios remastered. Wintersun is finnish metal band and Jari Mäenpää is mastermind behind the band and composes all the songs. Wintersun is hard to define, cause it has a lot of variety, but I would say epic-symphonic-deathmetal would be quite accurate. Please and peace 🙏🏼😎✌🏼

Welcome to the Army.. Definitely expect to be surprised on every song. Because not only are the songs unique to each other, the albums have different feels to them.. This is the tail end if their 18 month Imaginaerun ablum world tour. many songs here have a mystical/fantasy vibe. Next album may have more of a power metal sound. They even have songs with a bit of the Celtic folk/rock kind of sound Every song is almost like listening to Nightwish for the first time. But, no matter the basic style of sound they are going for, they will all have those signature symphonic elements.. Those strings, horns or choir vocals that add all those extra layers to the music.. Makes the music sound so much more rich, full, complete to me.

Nightwish Army Central Florida Black Company reporting for duty! Since Nightwish was formed in 1996, many fans have spent their entire lives in the Army. I'm JEALOUS! No two songs are the same, and they are all distinctly Nightwish. I'm really enjoying your Nightwish journey and I suggest that you follow your heart as to what to explore next. The music videos, those released as such, are often a problem for reactors but there's much online of the studio albums. With those you get to hear what Tuomas can do in a studio. It's jaw dropping. I agree with what you said about Storytime, but Ghost Love Score seems to be the #1 most reacted to song on the tubes so that's where everyone generally starts from. Storytime is usually the most recommended song for a second reaction then, and that's exactly because it's one of the most accessible Nightwish songs for people who aren't necessarily metalheads. In that vein Ever Dream from the same concert is usually the next most recommended song because it's right up there in the accessibility department, and it's often the first time a reactor gets to hear Marco sing. You already did a little sidestep and a twirl with the Poet reaction so you're aware of what Marco can do, and that might take away a bit of the novelty of choosing Ever Dream. It's still usually the #3 stop for aspiring Nightwish reactors, and it tends to flow really well in that continuum. For me the biggest song left out of the Wacken 2013 that you haven't reacted to is easily Song of Myself, it's a slightly longer one too and has multiple parts to it. Then if you want to switch gears once again for something quite different I'd recommend Romanticide for that.

It's funny about the "connection" because most in this audience probably hadn't heard her sing these songs before. She wasn't even signed full time at this point. So this was both a revelation and a renaissance for them. I feel that Floor joining the band in the middle of this Tour also invigorated the fans and the band.
