We tried this in high school art class. It was pretty fun. (This was also like 10 years ago so I don't know if they still do this)
Jennifer Chevez I did this in middle school. My art teacher created a printing class, it was fun.
My school had us do this in fifth grade, I made a horse. It was pretty fun, I cannot attest to the quality of my art though.
I did this in art class when I was 12 or 13! Watching this makes me kind of want to try it again 😂
They do still do this! I did it my sophomore year of high school

OMG!!! Those stamps were so stinking adorable. Loved the brush and the pencil
In case anyone was wondering what the material she was using is it’s called softoleum. I did some print making in college and we used a fair amount of it.

Any art supply store should have them. Amazon, Michaels ho by Lobby depends on where you are.

I got a deep cut in my finger while carving a linoleum print at school

How could I do anything while you were being so wonderful! I was spellbound! SO much FUN! I think you should try to Ink the pads and you might find the drying time greatly increased. Changing viscosity is another way to keep inks from mixing on the stamp before you put it on the paper. GRrrrrrreat Video!

Thank you so nuch for this video! I got my 1st art subscription 📦 from Artful h the 1st project is lino printing which I've been super intimated by. They have "fancy" & complicated projects in their instruction book, but your work looks so inviting & achievable for a complete newbie who hadn't even heard of this craft. Now I'm excited to carve a simple wooden cross as I always want my 1st art project in a new medium or sketchbook page to praise God. God bless you Mira!

I was looking and the two fern paintings in the back of your room are from cost plus world market. I have a few at my house and I really like them.

When I made stamps in college that was my favorite part too lol. It's so satisfying! If you have any old erasers you aren't using, they make great stamps too!

I have done linoleum carving before! It was fun but also difficult for me because I tried to put too much detail... but it was ok! It turned out kinda um... strange but it was fun! 🌈🌼🥑❤️

Just in beginning of your video. ( watching on tv and texting on phone, not bad for a 62 year old lady) But back to what I wanted to share: take blocks or erasers and wrap rubber bands around them in a random way. Awesome background! Use like stamps.
