It takes 40 minutes to reach the limit you set, which looks like 90% or 100%. If you had a destination set in navigation, the car would have told you how much time you needed to spend to continue your trip, which would have been around 20 minutes. Since you planned on using destination charging, you want to plan your arrival to be around 10% SOC so that you spend less money (and time) on supercharging.
I just found this out too about V3 stations not worried about sharing stations, like the bathroom stalls, let's just continue this habit though so we don't unnecessarily crowd everyone until it's needed lol
FYI: I don't see where you used Full Self Driving. You were using AP (Auto Pilot). From the screen, it looks like you don't have the FSD option, or it was not enabled. Regardless, currently, FSD does not engage on highways, it's AutoPilot only.
Wow Maya what a wonderful car and I really really love Tesla car so so much and I love your vlogs so so much and I wish you reach 500K Subscribers very very soon!💫❤️😭
Wow babe travelling I didn’t expect to see you here! I watch a lot of your videos. Are you still considering the Model Y? It is a great vehicle in my opinion
I just came back from Las Vegas but we flew instead of driving our Tesla. We ate at Tacos Las Gordos and Shang. We also tried Gordon Ramsey Burgers and Fish and Chips. Both were delicious but a little pricey. The highlight of our trip was seeing Bruno Mars perform in concert. We sat in front of the stage. It looks like you guys had a fabulous trip.
This is so cozy and cute! It seems like you had lots of fun. I live in the Bay Area and I want to take my Model 3 on cute trips like this to SoCal 🥰 and oh my goodness idk why but the 7Leaves is a must and so aesthetic LOL
@Maya Lee That was a wonderful Road Trip and you really showed off the Model Y in all its glory. You and your husband make a lovely couple!!! .... I love your "Cross" Tattoo. If you ever go to Las Vegas again, you must go to Lotus of Siam $$ [Flamingo Rd] (Reservations strongly suggested). I have eaten Thai food in Thailand and this is pretty close, if not better. Not only is the Food out of this world, but the drinks (with or without alcohol). They even have an extensive Wine Selection. I have no connection with the Restaurant, in any way, but I make sure to get at least 1 meal there on each trip.
I was so excited for this video (I remember you mentioning it when you posted your trip to your stories on ig!) because I’m currently waiting for my Model Y and Vegas is one of our first roadtrips we’re taking out of LA 😂 Loved the video Maya! 🤩✨🙏🏻
Great to see you all enjoyed that trip and your food. Tesla's sure are some amazing, high-tech cars. I certainly hope to finally visit Las Vegas in 2024.
My biggest pet peeve is not being able to open all 4 doors only at 'Home' location. I currently have it set to only open driver's door when I use the app to unlock the TMY, and for safety reasons this makes sense when out and about. But when I'm home parked in my garage, TMY already knows I'm home so should provide the option to allow an owner to open all 4 doors at once only at 'Home' location.
You can tell you’ve never driven a Tesla 😂. The reason it was so expensive is because they were watching videos and running all the electronics 😂. Without running entertainment you’ll charge in about 18-20 mins and it’ll only cost about $18
The funniest thing just happened you said your husband was on Duolingo learning Korean as soon as I heard that I get a notification from Duoling to learn Korean, question what level is he on now?
Not knocking your food and and hotel portion of the video, but the experience of the Tesla for a roadtrip does not give me real ambitions of owning one. Nothing done wrong on your part. Just gives more insight of the cons of owning an EV. It's range is not great compared to a conventional vehicle of which is about double and it takes like 5 minutes or so to fill up 100% full on gas vs 40 minutes to charge an EV to only 85% on the road. That's a lot of sitting and waiting vs filling on gas. And if you are at a changing station that is full then you could be adding a lot of wait time for a charger to open up. And then you have to account for going out of the way sometimes to get to a charging station. Plus your trip is dictated by where there are charging stations or you have to do even more planning vs finding a gas station. For trips that require more than a charge or two, that's a lot of time wasted for having time to do other things. A PHEV with an electric range of at least 50 all electric is the best of both worlds. Drive pretty much all electric most of the time and can take on long road trips and don't have to rely on charging stations.
All being recalled right now ...... DUMB idea to do this on such a narrow road. Young people have no awareness like professional drivers. Good luck with this. Hope you live through it as well as the people you smash up in the process. Lack of fear equals lack of life quickly..... For you AND the innocent people you will hurt doing this with a BETA testing disaster like Tesla Self-Driving
Very good vid i love the LA vlogs i always want to go in the future 💜💜💜💜☀️ And i rememember PTD 🥲 I cannot wait till they all come back together in 2025
Our first road trip together as a married couple as well as our first time taking our Tesla model y on a long drive 😮🚗
You both are made for each other,he is so serious and you being so cute was wholesome

Fun! I used to live in Vegas and the noodle soup looked yummy!
“Space for.... activities...” 🤣🤣👏🏻👏🏻 And him referring to BTS as your “Severn husbands” *dies* 🤣 you guys are adorable and crack me up
Ahh every Sunday night!
Watching your vlog and going to sleep with so much positivity and warmth 😊😇,Even though the video was about tesla 🚗🔌🔋 .
Cool road trip, delicious food and as always great vibes. Thanks for sharing. I wish you and your husband a great week
Great video. You guys seem like very nice, good hearted people.
Is this model Y a standard or long range? Sounds like around the equivalent of 50 MPG? Very rough figures i know.
"7 husbands", somebody was being jealous hahahaha
I got a 23 model y with 4680 cells and it was a letdown, because it’s lighter and more energy dense I was expecting at least 300 miles of range.
My husband and I just went this last weekend as well!!! We are also big foodies 😂❤🎉 how does the Tesla react to wind?
Awwww how fun! It was fine!! It felt slightlyyyyy shaky during intense wind but not as bad as I’ve experienced in my Honda hehe
Now this is what you call a road trip! Tfs
Hey you! =)
You only have to do the every other charging spot thing for older isuperchargers with 150kw otherwise called V1 or V2
I just found this out too about V3 stations not worried about sharing stations, like the bathroom stalls, let's just continue this habit though so we don't unnecessarily crowd everyone until it's needed lol
Happy Sunday Maya, the foods are looking so good thank you for the video and info ❤❤
Love all Your #Tesla Content
a lot of pretty good, looks tasty too
My family just drove that exact route two weeks ago!! Also you and your husband are so cute together! (Sorry I forgot his name 😅)
So fun!! Hehe his name is Hezki 🤭
@@mayaleex3 Thanks!
So lucky you stayed at the Bellagio! It looks so nice. It’s been my dream Vegas hotel since I was a kid!
Awww I hope you can stay there! I went during a non-busy weekend which helps with the rate hehe :)
I'm going back home(Vegas) in March for my family! So glad that y'all have been safe and fine.

Greetings from Vegas ❤️
Haha hubby said lots of space in the back i love the realness!!
I’ve been thinking of getting a Tesla Y. Thanks for sharing your experience. We were just in Vegas and back in LA too lol
Wow babe travelling I didn’t expect to see you here! I watch a lot of your videos. Are you still considering the Model Y? It is a great vehicle in my opinion
@@rylans.5365 I ended up getting hybrid but now I like EV. Not until 2 years 🥰
What site did you use to book your hotel with Amex platinum to get the benefits?
Your Vegas trip looks so fun! I don’t mind the drive to get there from LA, but it always takes soooo long to get back at the end of the weekend!
Oh yes!! I always try to leave during off hours. Sundays are always so bad 🥲
I make sure to leave early Sunday morning.
looks like a fun trip!!!
I think driving thru the desert is the best for road trips 😁😁

In Baker, there's a surprisingly good Greek restaurant a few minute's walk from the chargers. I think it's called The Mad Greek.
Mmmm delicious Shang artisan noodles I love that you hit up the local spots!

how much did it cost for this trip
Nice road trip video. I am thinking about getting a model Y. But worry about phantom braking. Have you experienced it, and how bad is it?
How does the self driving on the Tesla do around Vegas? Were moving there and the traffic freaks me out so im thinking of getting a Tesla. 😅
Omgosh idk if I could use self-driving on the Las Vegas strip because I’d be too scared LOL I’m sure we’d be fine though
How long did it took to charge?
How easily to drive mode Y Vs the normal car
@Maya Lee That was a wonderful Road Trip and you really showed off the Model Y in all its glory. You and your husband make a lovely couple!!! .... I love your "Cross" Tattoo.

Ahhhh I must try next time!! Thank you for the recommendation :)
Gotta stop at Eddie’s work if you haven’t been such a cool place!
Damn Tesla superchargers are expensive. EA cost me $16 for over 250 miles when we went LA to SF.
I was so excited for this video (I remember you mentioning it when you posted your trip to your stories on ig!) because I’m currently waiting for my Model Y and Vegas is one of our first roadtrips we’re taking out of LA 😂 Loved the video Maya! 🤩✨🙏🏻
Ahhhh so exciting!!! 💕 you’re going to love it :)
🥹 thanks girl!!
That was a fun video!! Thank you for sharing this trip with us, and we're glad you guys got to have a fun break together!!!!
Thank yoouuu 💕🥰🥰
I don’t know how you have so many followers and 86k views on this but good on ya!
WHAT ACTIVITIES??????
Same 😂
fun roadtrip!
only 40$ for the entire trip?
I was thinking renting a regular car to do the road trip but your video makes me think twice
La To Vegas is a road trip it’s like 3:30 hours
Awesome! i plan to rent a tesla car to do road trip from oregon to california then it could be a great experience!
Great to see you all enjoyed that trip and your food. Tesla's sure are some amazing, high-tech cars. I certainly hope to finally visit Las Vegas in 2024.
Where are you from
The US (:
diabetes in a cake lol
there is no way you leaved without gambling right ? you just didnt mention it :D
Hahaaha nooo we don’t gamble!

“There’s a lot of room here for activities”
A cheat code 🤣 can't even go la to Vegas without charging 🤣🤣🤣
Hi maya
LOVE YOUR VIDOES ❤😊 always ❤ and I subscribe to you and notifications ❤
2:16 Bro wants to have some action 😅
Nice vlog. But dang, I dont see the hype over EV. I couldnt imagine having to stop and charge for 40+ min at a time yikes
2:18 extra space for activities 😮Maya becomes uncomfortable 😣
Ohh 🥰🥰
Biggest fan sweetie
LOL "your 7 husbands"
$25 for 150 miles is expensive. Equivalent to $5 per gallon of gas at 30 miles per gallon.
You can tell you’ve never driven a Tesla 😂.

Interesting, this pop up on my recommendation. I wonder why UA-cam did this.
Don’t have your car on when you’re charging it play your phone game separate from the car
The video applied it took several minutes that’s not good for a vacation for busy children

40 mins to charge 🤣🤣 and its $26 for a small car wow
Blaɔkpiиk in your area!
Keep watching me shut it downnnnnn
Super car...enjoy....
Cute video
80mph is too fast and you will have reduced range
Woah that’s bad if it’s $25 for charge 😮😅 nah I will rather pay $35 for my gas car all it takes is 30 secs not 40 minutes
7 husband's 😮😯
1 hand on the wheel bs I’m 1000% sure that you didn’t do that because I didn’t
problem is it is not full self driving, if it messes up you will not have time to react.
That’s expensive
