Back in the early 2000’s I did several cross country road trips, sleeping in my car. This was nostalgic for me. In about 3 years I’m planning on doing another cross country trip, but this time with my daughter in a Model Y. We’re going to go from New England to the west coast, then bring her to all of my favorite spots when I was younger. Thanks for making this great video and bringing back memories!

This is unrelated but I still don’t get why people have such hatred for Tesla to the extent they key the cars on purpose like if you got a thing against the company go after them not innocent people that own the car… they paid and worked hard for that car there’s no reason to do that
When i was younger i would just power through my trips. Now, I have a rule that if i ever think "should i take a nap?" i have to take a nap. better safe than sorry.
You can just go to a hotel and use their charger for free and sleep in the car?? Wouldn't the hotel have a slight issue with it?

That is so cool that the car has camp mode and you can sleep in your Tesla like it is a camper. I thought I knew about everything a Tesla, but I did not know about camp mode.
Lol so annoying the weather favoring hot or cold effects the battery life that much.
I’m sure you’re aware the button on the supercharger handle opens the charge port and you don’t have to hit the charge port door with the supercharger to open it.
