Found my spare throttle body and the inside diameter measures 69.9mm. I have a 76mm throttle body from a Nissan titan which is outsourced from the same company that I was hoping to make work. It appears that some older Maxima owners had gains swapping out their 70mm throttle body with the 75mm throttle body from newer models. I am curious if an ecu adjustment would fix the issues and allow me to run the larger throttle body. Also something to keep in mind is that our throttle bodies do not open all the way. If there were gains from a larger throttle body, we might see something from adjusting the ecu to open the stock throttle body further.
But if you put the bigger throttle body on you wouldnt be able to cool your throttle body with coolant would this cause perfomace problems or make your intake tempatures hotter ?
I read elsewhere that the coolant lines on the throttle body are only necessary for harsh winter environments. They are used to heat the throttle body up.
Those valve covers are a Hella nice detail
12:24 i love my IS that shi sounds so amazing

I did mine for like $150 bought a URD adapter plate 70mm to 76mm and went to a junkyard for the tundra throttle body
We sell the modified Throttle body without the carbon intake for $159.99.
@@rrracingmotorsportsenginee8787 does so you wont be able to cool thr throttle body with the coolant wich means more hot air????
Did you get a check engine light ?
@@noahmurillo898 no just have to do the Throttle body relearn and it’s all good

what you wanted for the extra pipe come with the tundra throttle body kit??? what you wanted for it?
Wondering if the 2grfe heads would work wit the 2grfse block, with the fe heads we can run standalone ecu and really have some fun 🤩
Like isf 8 speed transmission, haltech supports control for the isf 8spd..

Always unplug your battery before you do any work
Why?
@@mauramurillo8010 If you don't unplug the battery you will get throttle body change, or you can short something out
Yes
