Focal Aria Evo X N°3 and Center Channel Review

- As I've been doing this, I have started to prefer floor-standing speakers over their Bookshelf counterparts. There's something about the extra drivers that leads to better separation more articulate bass and a fuller sound overall. And depending on the size of the speakers the full range nature of them differs. This one, the AriaEVO X N°3 leans toward the near full range end of things.

Love these, and I don't really like green cars or cloths, but these I really like the color and at first I was off about the cone material, but immediately found myself knowing the French designed it with form and function. So I noticed the weave is like plaid seats in a Porsche, it just works after you take it all in. These may be my next speakers to add to my Marantz SR7015, even though I do really like my Klipsh atmos speakers in 9.2.4 . Congratulations they're beautiful. Cheers

The focal aria 906 k2 limited edition was a direct competitor for the Kef R3 for me, in a listening test, so I'm not surprised the new focal aria speakers are very good as well. I'm going to repeat the listening test this year with Kef R3 meta's, and hopefully the new focal aria as well. Although the WAF for floorstanders has turned out to be quite decent, it's starting to end as we remodel the living room so I will have to switch to bookshelf speakers, with likely a subwoofer for additional bass.
I agree that the colour is pretty stylish on the focal arias. Would fit my room quite well.

Have you gotten a chance to check out the Axxess l3 speakers? I think they just came out but look great for the price especially the bookshelf version.

I was just trying out some of the music you mentioned at high volume on my Cornwalls. My girlfriend opened the door and asked if I was listening to a construction crew build a house 😂

The most important part for me was comparing the EVO to the CXA, as I am always torn between the two.
I wish you had a hint between EVO and Marantz. If possible, give a brief description.

Oh they’re not comparable. Power wise the EVO out guns the marantz which is beneficial to these speakers.

@@ramin3080 for a full featured product, yes. But if you just need an amp, and don’t need hdmi, tone controls or a streamer, its a toss up.

Come on dawg those front speakers are begging for a dedicated 3 x channel left - center - right multichannel amplifier. You are not experiencing the full sound of these incredible speakers with a puny Marantz receiver.
You must not have watched the video. Dawg.
@@0102studio Bruh these speakers need a monster Emotiva Reference Differential 3 channel or NAD Master series. You are not hearing these speakers with a Cambridge streamer integrated amp all-in-one. You need 200 watts a channel minimum to all 3 channel / speakers.
@@chebrubin no. You don’t. 200 watts would no doubt be better, but they are easy to drive and they sounded great.
@@0102studio huh? You have to test the 3 x speakers 🔊 using a strong 3 x channel amplifier, especially with subwoofer off.
