I like the way the sermon is presented. It’s a class type of lectures where the presenter leads us from one verse to the next cross reference bringing to light hidden truths on Sabbath and its counterfeit and foretold that the end time is almost right. I have subscribed and will continue his future presentations.
The founders were mostly deist and Masons. Personally I don't like using "fathers" . But our Father in heaven. This study is a blessing. God Bless you Brother.
God First. This is awesome as d 2nd comments seem 2 b "fundamental n reasonable." I guess who accept "truth" n r diligent 2 go all d way w God, need 2 "understand d basic n valuable, particular gr8 verses which r indispensable 4 a good sound doctrine of LOVE. 😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
John 14:15: "If ye love me, keep my commandments" 1 John 2:3-6 KJV And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 1 John 5:3: "For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments" Proverbs 7:2: "Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye"
Not meaning to dispute but I have watched several sermons on Turkey being the King of the North and that the children of the East are the first second and third woes and also the 5th 6th and 7th trumpets. I believe Ellen White supported Uriah Smith and the original Daniel and Revelation from 1897 not the changes that were made in the 1900s when it was republished. We must understand the foundational truths of the pioneers and must study and pray and share and discuss with each other. T.y. for sharing.
God First. Sorry, I meant 2 say " the 3rd comments." GOD bless n help us 2 utilize those particulars in a study on " how to know God. " as it' seems 2 b connected 2 John 14:6; Psalm 77:13, 19; John 17:17; 17:3. So those important texts on d 3rd comment is an addition 2 d study of: "The Way to God.," since "eternal life" depends on "knowing God." It's a choice so we " do the profitable thing." ❤
God First. Again I must make a correction as I should write d 1st text better n do " to John instead of "2 John" so I don't cause confusion. All d best 4 a great study which is ' short and to the point." Time is so precious so we must do best in a little time." No excuse now to say I don't have the time, ok!" It's a concentrated study. Praise God for inspiration. ❤
I hope no one misunderstood me to say that each day was more than a 24 hour period. It wasn't. I was just saying that each day can REPRESENT a generation, because Genesis 2:4 refers to each day as generation.
I need an example, such as a Bible verse, to possibly answer your question. I would suggest doing a word study on the word "generation", because the word might have various definitions in the Bible. You would need a Strong's Concordance that has a dictionary with it. And l would say also that even in our English language there is more than one definition. Sometimes a Bible generation IS 40 years. But sometimes, depending on the context, it can mean MORE than 40 years. But, l believe l placed the definition in the study notes of this presentation. In it you will see the various definitions of the word.
No matter when those four generations start, my point was to show that the Sunday law is enforced in the fourth generation. The Scriptures that l read prove that that is so. I purposely omitted answering your question in part because it would have taken more time to include that point. Some would debate that point because there are various definitions of the word generation. And l did give the definitions of the word. If you downloaded the notes to the presentation you will see on page 3 the six definitions of generation. The 3rd definition would be the one to consider with this subject. It states, "The people of the same period, or living at the same time." So, to answer your question using that definition, the first generation would start around the time of the founding fathers of America. And if that sounds unreasonable, consider this. My great grandfather, who was born in 1887, was living during the same time l was living. And l was born in 1957. Using the definition given above, he and l were living, for a while, in the same generation, even though he and l were born 70 years apart.
@JewelsofTruth I see what you are saying. I think I was thinking of a generation being 40 years and how we sometimes look at what generation were living in in regards to our SDA pioneers for example if we counted from 1888 the 3rd Generation would end in 2008, right, so that would mean we are living in the fourth generation.
Well, if you figure Adventism in with this subject, you would have to start at the beginning of Adventism, during the Millerite Movement. And l do agree that we are in the fourth generation.
The US is not Persia bcuz it had 2 horns. The US is the second beast of Revelation and the papacy is the first Beast of Revelation More study & prayer is needed for understanding The role the Papacy has of persecuting God’s people as given in Revelation 13 and 17 must not be confused with the role Turkey the King of the North has of signaling to the world what next event follows. “And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain …” (Dan 11:45). “This movement on the part of Turkey is the signal for the standing up of Michael; that is, it marks this event as next in order” (Uriah Smith, 1882 edition, p. 389). Turkey the King of the North moves during the sealing of saints of God in Ezekiel 9:4 and Revelation 7:1-4. “The sealing angel goes through Jerusalem (the church) to place the seal of the living God on the foreheads of the faithful, and while this work goes forward, Turkey stands as a national guidepost to the world, that men may know what is going on in the sanctuary above” (Stephen Haskell, The Story of Daniel the Prophet, 1901, p. 248.1).
Medo-Persia most definitely represents the USA. Without going into a detailed explanation of why l say that, l will refer you to the study l presented, entitled, "The Most Important Issue Facing Our World." You can look it up on this channel. To me there is simply too much evidence to prove that. No one who is being led by the Lord can deny the truth of this matter. On your point that Turkey is the King of the North, l categorically reject that position for a number of reasons. First of all, sadly, some Seventh-day Adventists seem to believe that just because Ellen White endorsed Uriah Smith's book, calling it, "God's helping hand", that somehow he was inspired by the Holy Spirit and that there are no errors in his book. I DO believe that most of what he wrote in that book is spot on, but not all. Both James and Ellen White believed and taught and wrote that the King of the North is the Papacy. I believe Seventh-day Adventists need to study and take to heart Uriah Smith's own words concerning that issue, which in themselves alone prove that he was in error on that point. This is what he wrote concerning Daniel 11:36 and the phrase "THE king. . . " ". . . The only difficulty in applying it to a NEW power lies in the definite article THE; for it is urged, the expression "THE king" would identify this as THE ONE LAST SPOKENOF. IF it could be properly translated "A" king, there would be no difficulty; and it is said that some of the best Biblical critics give it this rendering, Mede, Wintle, Bootroyd, and others translating the passage, "A certain king shall do according to his will," thus clearly introducing a NEW power upon the stage of action." So, Uriah Smith, in spite of the FACT that the Scriptures state, THE King, meaning the previous king, which is the Papacy, twisted and strained the word of God, and translated it to mean A king. And he tried to find some justification for his assumption, so he ran to find out what the theologians of his day wrote about the matter. And they evidently were not SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST theologians, and they gave him an excuse for his assumption. Very sad. Unfortunately he has caused many to stumble over his words to their destruction. Now, l DO believe that he will be in heaven. In a way l believe that he can be excused because he did not have the light on the Papacy and the prophecies of God's word as WE do. But, Seventh-day Adventists today are inexcusable for believing that the king of the North is Turkey. Consider Ellen White's words in "Pamphlets 135, page 5", "Those who become confused in their understanding of the Word, who fail to see the meaning of antichrist, will surely place themselves on the side of antichrist." This statement applies to those who, in spite of clear evidence to the contrary,, still hold to their "private interpretation" that the King of the North is Turkey.
I love the fact that this presenter is not afraid to call sin by its right name - Trump has already given a full green light to apostate Protestants P 2025.

Generation or Creation Day could also be looked upon As an Age? Like Adam didn't live out the millennial 1st day. As he passed short of 1000 years.
