I have been playing on and off for over 20 years now and I can keep time play tumbaos of all types but my soloing is terrible. I get lost in the sauce and often get out of sync. This video illustrates everything I need to learn and how to practice with a purpose. Will you ever break down these solo phrases as instructional videos?

Nice looking conga heads and warm tones. Maybe all in the fingers lol. I am looking at getting some tycoon supremo series 11.75 and 12.5 inches congas. Water buffalo heads. Do you have any advice on the best heads for congas. How to get the best tone. I want to get in the ball park of a good tone. But I am no expert just researching opinions from experienced people. Maybe it is more the player than the heads. There are synthetic options or animal skins. I should buy these second hand congas and try them before I decide I need to replace them. I am inexperienced with congas but hoping to record along to reggae, disco/house and funk patterns.
