We very rarely look for new places ourselves for that reason 🤣 We’ve seen some really abandoned looking places before that are still lived in 😳 Glad to have you watching! ❤
I always wonder what happened to the people. Did they both pass away in an accident or what? I hate to see all these homes just go to waste. Jess..you were trying to think of suspenders. This was a really good explore. Thanks for sharing with us!❤
Although I’m not a fan of hunting, I did find this house to be rather cool and a little bit quirky! I love big fire places and the one in kitchen didn’t disappoint! It didn’t seem like anyone had been in the building for years! What a fabulous explore! Thank you Sam and Jess xx
That poop was reasonably fresh , if it was old it would of gone white and hairy 🤣🤣 and I found out via another you river yesterday that if a home owner had no will or no one to leave the property to when they die then it’s just left to rot 🤷♀️ ( well in England anyway ) I didn’t know that .
Beautiful house, I'm amazed it's not looted yet! Those compound bows would be prized by someone. I always find hunting trophies weird, I mean you wouldn't have corpses littering your house now would you? Thanks both!! Stay safe and happy out there! 🙏
Oh wow you could move right in!!! I love it when you guys find perfectly preserved houses! Loving the road trip! Glad you got your car sorted (though i did enjoy the squalor vlogging!)
Wow great video guys what an amazing place, and glad u got the car sorted and decided to park closer it's just not worth the agro, anyway loved this, looking forward to tonights video and catching up with everyone in the premier 👍❤ thanks for sharing ❤
Omg I love it! Glad your back on the road. The carving with a lute very cool. I saw no fishing stuff yet a calendar with a pike on it. Proper hunting lodge. Hunting is part of nature conservation . It brings money to save nature so non hunters like you & me can enjoy exploring habitat. My binoculars can't bring that cash. Bravo cobwebs oh yeah cheers 🍷🐟
Glad that you guys are on the road again. I liked the remodeling of the house and the mood created by a mix of sun and shadow in the rooms. Too many animal heads and horns for my taste, but that's what the owners liked. Toward the last part of the video I was getting the feeling that you were being 'hunted'...creepy!
What a unique and beautiful house. The wood beams ❤ but if you ever lived there definitely get rid of the hoof/ leg hangers and hooks 😬. Great exploration, thank you for sharing it with me ♥️🇨🇦
Looked pretty good despite not showering, another interesting house, got a hurricane coming toward Fl. hope I survive and enjoy more of your vides. Keep up the good work.
I don't like hunting but the house is the best you have ever come across so authentic they definitely had a style of there own I really love it and would love to live in it great find guys stay safe.
I don’t comment much , the last 3-4 videos have been bangers….Love the art work and the antique stuff…That place hear is awesome….Would love to know there story….TommySt..Petersburg’s florida
Wow this place was amazing! The strappy things with the clips are called suspenders. I got the impression the people living there went out on an errand and never came back. Accident I'm guessing. They were in the process of remodeling and getting new cabinets made. And their dog was left behind when when that took that last fateful trip. Love the upstairs but the floor boards are too creaky. You got beautiful shots! Well done! Oh, never got a haunted vibe.
Not completely sure this one is totally abandoned as such!.......ive gotten the feeling its quite possible in limbo while either family or someone else is waiting to take over. It's very pristine in places despite the cobwebs and damp smells (the house I grew up in didn't take long to get like that when left due to building materials used).......it was great to see though but be careful x
What a fantastic place, obviously these folks hunters, but you can tell from all the paintings, photos and carvings that they had some respect for the animals too, probably just hunted for food rather than sport. Amazing how well preserved things are in there, looks like you`re the first to explore here, hope it doesn`t get vandalised if folk who know where it is decide to go and look for themselves. Glad you got the car sorted from your last trip, I`d be well gutted to have my tires slashed like that, you really took it on the chin and got on with it. Looking forward to more of your adventures. ATB Dave.
Smaller antlers are roe deer bucks, the bigger 1 is a red stag. I'm surprised there aren't any taxidermy boar or deer heads. One of the roe buck antler sets is quite a big one. In the US, hunting is a BIG thing in all rural areas. Deer, bear, elk, moose, waterfowl, upland birds like quail and pheasants, wild turkey, and of course the feral hogs which are a HUGE problem in the south. It was hunting groups 100+ years ago that got protections on dwindling game animals, which is why they are so abundant today. Over all those years the #'s rose and people could start hunting them again with the seasons and bag limits. The only animals that can be hunted year round are ones like the hogs and coyotes, and some other species that cause a lot of issues, like beavers and raccoons in certain states. Deer, elk, bear, moose etc and the birds have fall and winter seasons, and some spring for bears, and spring turkey. Due to great wildlife management paid through hunting lisc's , a tax on guns and ammo, and some other sources, there are huge #'s now of whitetail deer, bear, wild turkey, ducks, geese, and beavers.
It seems as if other people have been there before you guys. You can see all the things thrown around that. Difficult to watch the video though because i'm against hunting and killing anything. But it's too bad that it cannot be preserved the way it is. Or contacting a family member to take care of the property. Especially since we all know it'll be trashed soon. It's too bad people can't respect what is that not theirs. Not you guys you guys are extremely respectful. Even in a wanted house.
people who hunt know there prey well, there habits, the dangers, where they like to be at certain times of the day, the hunter often kills the dumber animals, the animals know to fear people, that is good for them and us.
That is a neat place but with no graffiti or anything I would be concerned that someone might still live there. The dog poo obviously had not been there for years. Maybe they are just bad housekeepers.
Hate hunting. French houses are beautiful however. Hope one day you travel around Spain and view some derelict farm houses and cave houses. Would love to see them.
Something tragic happened in the family and it wasn’t appropriate to go play with 🔫 anymore?? Did they both die together?? Did France Change a law that made the cabin owners lose licenses and moved abroad to continue there hobby?? (It does make sense the moving abroad thing as I can imagine it would be a LOT of hoops to jump through shipping animals parts, bows and 🔫 abroad from most countries. There’s one thing for sure not one hunter/hunteress is going to leave all them antlers there, there like a record which people keep till they die, it isn’t about the kill for most it’s about the hunt and the memories made whist waited for the animal your hunting to appear. The wild boars are a real bad problem wherever they roam, they are extremely harmful and destructive and invasive they polluted water sources, steal untold vegetables and crops, and destroyed many gardens and fields. It also has driven hungry cattle out of feed troughs. “Most” wild boar hunting is done legally in France. Great video, great location I well enjoyed this episode. Thanks guys 😊
I love the Eagles poster in the frame…. I’d pay a lot of money for that. Such a great band
This house could be lived in again. Some cleaning and maybe repairs and one could live in again
Love this place.
Just so cool

I love this place! Having remodeled a tobacco barn into a home I can assure you it’s a huge job - we never finished ours either before moving on.
I do believe this is my favorite video. Love it ❤

@@Samandjessexplore Very true, you really can't judge by the spider webs since they build them so fast.
The old wood cabinets with the metal inside the door is an old ice box, from before refrigeration became prominent.

Watch those pointy fences Jess.😂
The Bose speakers in there are from the late 1990s. So it’s been abandoned since likely the early 2000s
Wow.

That poo doesn’t look like a dogs. It too wild looking. I suspect a medium sized animal like a fox or bore.?
It's haunted
That is a neat place but with no graffiti or anything I would be concerned that someone might still live there. The dog poo obviously had not been there for years. Maybe they are just bad housekeepers.
50,000 people a year are killed in US auto wrecks. Maybe some of these houses are the result too.
