I bought one over a year ago. It has saved my ass so many times! Took it to a job site in the middle of no where and it allowed us to work without needing a gas generator. Also came in handy for the power outages that seem to be happening more often in my area. Cant recommend it enough.

What do you do when theres no sun like during a storm?? Solar takes alot longer to charge then the run time you get. Its a losing proposition and very expensive, those batteries go bad then you have replace the unit. Just pour more gas in the generator and keep going.

Glad you have a lot of these things on the shelf cause when the warranty if over the is no way to get these things repaired…none of them! As always, please list the MSRP when you start. ..... Please note that you have a spreadsheet that you should advertise that has a lot of this information, the comparison spreadsheet. You might want to make that a pinned comment. I am looking at a mid-cap as opposed to the Apollo. This would be an option. Go Jackery over Bluetti. I bought into the hype about the AC200MAX I also have a Jackery 1000. Both units lived in the same environment (in a car in Vegas, as I lived in my car for over a year out here) The Bluetti no longer turns on, (am working with Bluetti support to try and fix it.) However the Jackery has never stopped running and has become my now primary power source since the Bluetti has failed me. For the cost the amount of issues with Bluetti is crazy. I will be going forward with Jackery as my solar generator company, Bluetti is trash.
I looked really closely at Bluetti before I decided on Ecoflow. They look like good products, but I think Ecoflow beat them in several areas. Still great info! 👍👍
I too looked closely - I don't like the box deign of Ecoflow's front/back plugs. I have my Bluetti AC200max setting on a book shelf, easy to plug in and see the screen. The back is up against the wall ... works for me beautifully.
Here is a free piece of advice for your Bluetti (DONT THROW THE BOX OUT!) your going to need it! Shipping weight about 65lbs UPS shipping over $100 your cost - EVEN UNDER WARRANTY! Since nobody can fix it but them (Proprietary parts). Wait till the battery starts failing like a laptop, you know the meter says 95% - 5 hours left, and in 10 minutes it says 6% left charge battery or shut down. Me, Ill just put more gas in but not in near 10 minutes. How much will they charge you to replace that battery that didnt last as long as they said but its just outside the warranty period? You might as well buy a new unit, (If you havent learned your lesson) Ill just put a little fuel stabilizer in the gas, change the oil once a year maybe the air filter, possibly a spark plug every 10 years. It will probably run forever, if not - anybody local can fix it. Good luck with it
Thanks for the review. I actually have bought this for my RV and really just been using it as a way to keep my fridge and security cameras on while I am out and about and not plugged in at campgrounds. But I want to get away from campgrounds so I am looking into the solar and your information has been helpful clearing things up. I was looking at getting lithium batteries, inverter, charge controller and solar panels. But now I am thinking I should get the expandable battery for this and solar panels. To run my RV full time, they would accomplish the same thing right?
I am thinking along same path. I see the 30 amp output to replace shore power to get AC in simple way. I have 20 foot RV, Little bit off AC off and on should be 'cool enough'. I'm a city boy, any input appreciated.
Could you run wires from the 5521 DC ports and hook them up to the battery leads of an rv house battery? Basically disconnect the house battery and use this instead. Seems like it would be more efficient to use 12v DC direct to the RV 12v system instead of converting DC-AC for the outlets and then the RV converting the AC back into DC for the 12v systems like 12v fridge, lights, and water pump.
the ac200 the brick does not have the fan on all the time its thermally controlled it turnes on once it starts charging after like a min or so its quiet the inverter kicks on the fan on the unit once and a while its alittle loud thats about it once its off its off for 10 minutes or so.. the ac200 does not have ups so it uses power then charged at 98% so what it does is use batteriy cycles i mean its 1/116 a cycle so you can do this for years and not affect your unit i use one to power a small fridge and power a ac unit with a solar panel.. works fine the max is the only one with wifi but its another 200 or more dollars and the ac200 right now is on sale for 999 dollars 300 off and you can use those extra batts with it too but need the cable so it acts like a charger but at 1000 dollars each extra bat yea you can get up to 5 grand in stuff if you can afford it id do it
I’m replacing the noisy ac power supply with a 12v cigarette plug AC>DC adapter for home use, alongside 200w of solar via Xt60 port. The Bluetti DC7909 port says 10amp, but the provided brick is 8. My options for a fan-less brick are 5 or 8. Am I right that the 10amp would charge twice as fast, which is not an issue for my use, but will 5 amp run cooler/safer? I’m just powering my internet and home security system when I leave home for months at a time. I’d rather be safe than fast. Concerns with 10a amp vs 5? Just bought an AC200L to power my refrigerator and freezer when I’m out of town. I’ll hook up 1200 W of solar in the spring.
First time visit so can i ask for advice on a problem so i will just ask and trust one of you will take pity on a old man if my house consume 1500kwh per month what size unit would i require to replace my power company and rely on portable solar power station only
Well if I used it AC300 Max and it can 900 watts of solar well any loads I have would have to be less than 400 watts or at least half of whatever the load is do half of one of the solar is coming cuz if I use something like this guy better than 24 hours a day non-stop. It's cuz I did a year with no exception but the good thing is if you get the batteries of the 300 they take 60 amps of solar input so I can change the batteries as well and that meant makes a difference for the loads but truthfully I probably just use that for whatever used with my 200 watt inverter or for the use my 400 watt inverter for because I never want to run out of power never want to use too much of the batteries that is in the generator just like from inverters I never want to use a hundred percent of the power only rather use 50% of it and always be able to recharge it in the daytime for a used in 24 hour. With no exception.
Although I've done hours and hours of research, electric still confuses me! I set my van up with 4-100 watt Renogy panels on the roof, 12v lights, maxxair fan, and another 12v item. Then ran 3 house extension cords, all to the same area, with plans on building a system. Now I'm looking into these. How hard is it to get 5 or 6 separate 12v items (mentioned above) hooked to the 12v outputs on these. I understand the cigarette plug. But can I hook my other 12v wires to those other 12v outputs like the dc5521? Please HELP the confused.😊
The AC200MAX is fine when it works but I had to send back a year-old AC200MAX solar generator to Bluetti because the digital display quit working. Bluetti sent me a refurbished AC200MAX that was faulty in that it would not accept more than 377w into the aviation port, whereas my original AC200MAX accepted 900w. I had to send the replacement back to Bluetti as well so here I am more than a month later and I still don't have a fully functioning replacement AC200MAX that Bluetti promised to send me. The service at Bluetti is terrible and I mean terrible. I would have purchased another brand, had I known the service was going to suck so much.
My 12 volt cigarette lighter cord -- the other end -- I can't find the place to plug in on the bluetti? Does it need another cord of some kind attached to it to plug into the bluetti? How long does it take to charge up the bluetti plugging into the cigarette lighter?
Know what would be good since they made to so many different types of AC200 it would be nice if they made it so the AC 200 Max could pair up with another to make 4,000 watts even if it won't make 120/240 it would probably still be okay even if it just has 120 volts that make the unit so much nicer and make it for more people.
I have two working together with a double headed 30 amp to 50 amp adapter going into a transfer switch and hitting two separate legs which like you say doesn't do 220 but I have basically doubled my battery and inverter and I can charge them from each other or swap heads to run different circuits.
You know that's the only thing I think about you I don't care about about wall charging because then the power just coming from the inverter and the generators ask you to back up the inverters so that doesn't make so much sense I will never get a gas generator or propane or anything like that I won't even get a charcoal for my grill I don't need to when all I need all I need is a little bits of tiny pieces of wood and embark which I burn for about 4 hours so that works so good so I won't even get charcoal. always all I want is a generators that can be charged off of solar panels and for some reason that makes it even better than inverters because you going to buy so many extra batteries for the inverters instead of bad by embarrassed when the road is by generators and it pretty much comes with batteries are you going to get the batteries for them which is about the same prices you didn't inverter in batteries and then you can buy solar panels even cheaper than you can buy batteries for the inverters usually. What I'm saying is by the generators and their batteries and solar panels for the same cost is what it cost to buy the inverters and batteries not including the solar panels and all those extra hookups and other things that you would usually have to have.
I'm a nubi to this whole area. Is there a solar power generator site for dummies. A bit technical for me. My brother-in-law bought one and recommended it to me as things look to get a bit uncertain down the road politically and economically. I have another friend who bought a 4Patriot. Not sure which is best for just running standard house stuff in case the electric is disrupted for a length of time. Appreciate the help.
How do any of the products you have tested so far react to a load plugged in that has a direct short? Can you add a test that shows what happens to a power station that has been subjected to a direct short?
If you have 2 DC charging enhancers and one of the expansion batteries will it balance the power if the unit or battery fills up first to chatge the other?
I just bought my AC200MAX and it powers my ecoflow wave 2 but on the recharge I took it into the house and plugged it in and powered it off. It was at 37% and 5 hours later it was at 52%, was that because I powered it off while charging?
Wanna use this in a Sienna Camper conversion. Needed to run a CPAP. I'm concerned about the units fan noise (not the wall power supply fan). I've seen some posts where people were annoyed by the units fan noise while under load. Any thoughts out there? Would the EcoFlow DELTA Max be any quieter. P.S. the CPAP will pull about 50W
I agree the fan noise is annoying. The Delta 2 Max is better in my opinion but there is fan noise when charging from solar or wall charger. Less noisy compared to the bluetti though. I'd love to help you finalize your setup to make sure it's the best option for you. Feel free to email me at info@poweredportablesolar.com.
Question when you did your depth of discharge calculation did you factor in that the AC200Max’s depth of discharge is only down to 10%? As it will cut off when the battery reaches 10% capacity to protect the battery. Thanks!
Yes/no. Point being, I let it run like normal just like anyone else would be able to use it. Why advertise a certain battery capacity if you only get 90% of it? I used it to it's fullest depth of discharge.
@@minutemanprep Ok just a constructive thought, I can follow what your saying but people should know that you can only take them down to 10% by manufacturer default to protect the batteries and maximum charge cycles. So to be fair if the battery is a 2,048wh battery which based off voltage and amps is true and the manufacturer wants you to get the longest life out of the product without damaging the battery perhaps it would be fair to state this so if we can only use 90% of 2,048wh that’s 1,843.2wh available and you got 1,630wh in your test, so 1,630/1843.2 = 0.884 or 88% of available capacity. I would constructively say that all manufacturers of Solar generators probably have a max depth of discharge on their units to protect the batteries and to be fair manufacturers should state this fact in their literature and tech specs. I apologize if this comment bothers you or rubs you the wrong way as that is not my intent I say all this in a constructive conversation only and I thank you for your video!
Many have the same solar input. How many and what kind of solar panels is determined by a device called the solar charge controller. The charge controller changes the solar panel raw voltage into battery voltage so it can safely go into the battery to charge it. Every unit has it's own charge controller and so the specs from the panel and the specs on the charge controller have to be checked to make sure you don't damage the charge controller. info@poweredportablesolar.com
Hi, thanks so much for the info. I have a well pump that is on a double 20 amp breaker. Do you think that the AC 200 Max can run this pump? And, is the 3 pin output actually a 220 volt ? Bill.
Sorry no it will not run it. You need a system with 240v output on it. Most units that are a single unit with 240v output aren't worth getting because you can basically ONLY run a well pump and a few other 120v items. That may be good for now but further expansion down the road becomes problematic and you end up spending more. I prefer a dual unit system where you get 240v by connecting two units together. If your budget allows for that then that's the best way to go. I'm happy to help you get a system worked out if you'll email me at info@poweredportablesolar.com.
Yes you can use it as a UPS for 3D printing. Please feel free to use my link to support the channel: shrsl.com/4eehk. OR, I also really like the new Oupes Mega 2. It's not my favorite over the Bluetti AC200 series and the EcoFlow Delta Max series systems. You can find the Oupes Mega 2 here: oupes.com/products/oupes-mega-2-home-backup-portable-power-station-2500w-2048wh?ref=va1y1jwb.
@@Alien_isolationist Your solar input has to exceed your inverter output. If you were running 750w and bringing in 800w then technically the solar panels are running the device and 50w would be going to the batteries. That said, in that case, it'd be enough to run the heater all day but as soon as the solar panels stopped producing more than 750w you'd start using some battery.
Do all the Bluetti products require getting/using the app? I'm thinking of getting the 200Max but I don't want to use the app. I'm simply interested in a reliable system that I can plug in to solar panels to charge and then use.
First of all theres no such thing as a solar generator. Its nothing but a hugh battery and inverter run by a computer. They have tons of issues. The computer glitchs, the unit has to be shut down and reset to get them running again. Solar is way too slow to keep up with the discharge rate. When it runs down your done. The batteries have a life span of a few years. The price you will pay for new one will almost equal the cost of the unit plus disposal cost. You will never save any money with this thing compared to a real generator. They have error codes that pop up that disable the unit, then get out the manual. Complicated control panels. You will waste alot of money and have all kinds of techincal issues when you could have bought a super reliable honda super quiet generator and just keep it full. Will run forever. If theres a storm you cant even attempt to use the solar panels. It will let you down. And SUPER expensive. Just another high tech gadget to take your money. Keep it simple, keeps it reliable.
If the mini split is 120v yes, but it would have to be able to plug into it somehow. The follow up question is how long could it run it? And that would likely only be a few hours tops.
Yeah if you want to share with someone share with your wife that's probably what they mean by it you know your significant other that's if she has some understanding of how trending things on and off if she needs to buy the phone if you're not around he doesn't and she understands it's just a little bit so one way she didn't understand it doesn't understand that you cannot use the phone to better understand it a little bit going to tell you I need this on so I can make hot coffee toast or eggs.

Did you consider the Inergy system at all?
I looked really closely at Bluetti before I decided on Ecoflow. They look like good products, but I think Ecoflow beat them in several areas. Still great info! 👍👍
I too went to the Ecoflow😊
Ecoflow wich model?
The Eco Flow Delta Pro is a beast! I have one. The AC200MAX is a mid level generator (easier to move) so it's not on the same level as the Delta pro.
I too looked closely - I don't like the box deign of Ecoflow's front/back plugs. I have my Bluetti AC200max setting on a book shelf, easy to plug in and see the screen. The back is up against the wall ... works for me beautifully.
@@Speed00007 nah mate its not a mid level, its a high level and much quieter than the eco flow
Great video! Interested in reviewing our Energizer PPS2000 Portable Power Station?😏
Sounds great. Send me an email to info@poweredportablesolar.com.
How did this unit work for your rv im thinking about anker or this unit just trying to get some info thanks
I am thinking along same path. I see the 30 amp output to replace shore power to get AC in simple way. I have 20 foot RV, Little bit off AC off and on should be 'cool enough'. I'm a city boy, any input appreciated.
Hey bud, what would you recommend for powering an off grid cabin in Montana? Any recommendations?
Could you run wires from the 5521 DC ports and hook them up to the battery leads of an rv house battery? Basically disconnect the house battery and use this instead. Seems like it would be more efficient to use 12v DC direct to the RV 12v system instead of converting DC-AC for the outlets and then the RV converting the AC back into DC for the 12v systems like 12v fridge, lights, and water pump.
Looks like you have the AC180 in your apps list I guess that review is coming 😂
Yup :)
the ac200 the brick does not have the fan on all the time its thermally controlled it turnes on once it starts charging after like a min or so its quiet the inverter kicks on the fan on the unit once and a while its alittle loud thats about it once its off its off for 10 minutes or so.. the ac200 does not have ups so it uses power then charged at 98% so what it does is use batteriy cycles i mean its 1/116 a cycle so you can do this for years and not affect your unit i use one to power a small fridge and power a ac unit with a solar panel.. works fine the max is the only one with wifi but its another 200 or more dollars and the ac200 right now is on sale for 999 dollars 300 off and you can use those extra batts with it too but need the cable so it acts like a charger but at 1000 dollars each extra bat yea you can get up to 5 grand in stuff if you can afford it id do it
I’m replacing the noisy ac power supply with a 12v cigarette plug AC>DC adapter for home use, alongside 200w of solar via Xt60 port.
How long would one of these run a mini fridge for anyone? Thanks
If the grid goes down will this work if you cant acceas the app or a cell phone?
yes
There was an ac 200, but did not have the extra features
It’s good for cameras please?
@1:24 is the link actually below? I don't see it.
How good is the generator as a while system for long term? I have a ac200p. The battery not holding charge and issues after just 2 years of usages.
What is the cost of the account ?
What about the fan noise on the main unit, it is silent for a bedroom?
Is this something I can safely put in a conversion van with solar panels on top?
Is this better than ecoflow delta 2 max?? Can you use it while it’s solar charging
can i link 2 or 3 blueitti into the one app?
There really is an AC200 bluetti, it doesn't have lifepo4. Hey I noticed the ac180 in the app, are you doing a review on it?
The OG AC200 was NMC & was 1700wh, if I remember correctly.
Yes I'll be reviewing the AC180 as well.
@@minutemanprep can't wait to see it. Is It kind of like the Modern day EB120?
@@PrecisionGroupYT thank you that's very helpful
Happy New Year.
Question: does the higher power, i.e. 7*200=1400watts happen without a problem in all Power Stations or only in BLUETTI? Thanks!!
@@minutemanprep Thanks for your answer!
Can i use it as a UPS for 3D printer, it's online?
Yes you can use it as a UPS for 3D printing. Please feel free to use my link to support the channel: shrsl.com/4eehk. OR, I also really like the new Oupes Mega 2. It's not my favorite over the Bluetti AC200 series and the EcoFlow Delta Max series systems. You can find the Oupes Mega 2 here: oupes.com/products/oupes-mega-2-home-backup-portable-power-station-2500w-2048wh?ref=va1y1jwb.
A small, 120V, 60hz, 1500 watt electric heater drains this in only an hour?
Yes. Maybe 1.5 hours tops on high. Max 3 hours on low.
@@minutemanprep and what if it's hooked to solar panels will it run all day?
@@Alien_isolationist Your solar input has to exceed your inverter output. If you were running 750w and bringing in 800w then technically the solar panels are running the device and 50w would be going to the batteries. That said, in that case, it'd be enough to run the heater all day but as soon as the solar panels stopped producing more than 750w you'd start using some battery.
Do all the Bluetti products require getting/using the app? I'm thinking of getting the 200Max but I don't want to use the app. I'm simply interested in a reliable system that I can plug in to solar panels to charge and then use.
Don't need app to use
Can the bluetooth be turned off?
Blue tooth can be turned off
😊❤💎🥇
What would you recommend for powering an off grid cabin in Montana? Any suggestions? Thank you
can this run an air condition unit split type inverter
If the mini split is 120v yes, but it would have to be able to plug into it somehow. The follow up question is how long could it run it? And that would likely only be a few hours tops.
I run Mr Cool 12000 btu 120volt
Poor guy, noisy fans be buggin😂
My wall charger does not do that. Does not even have a fan.
I don't need a wall charger and all I have a solar panels anyways I don't have the grid.
Is there a 220 volt power in it?
No not with this one
nameing mine Bluttimaximus lol
Will this unit run a reqtec 2500 pellet grill for events and pop-ups? How long would it last me before a charge?
Yes it will run that. There's no way to know how long it'll last without knowing everything you're running on it and how much energy each device uses.
@Minute Man Prep thank you! Only thing that will be connected is the smoker.
@@adonischan2343 About 12 hours purely off of the battery depending on how much the pellets needs to auger in.
