Micah is only going into year 4, so as a former 1st round pick he will be under relatively cheap contract for at least 2 more seasons since the Cowboys have activated his 5th year option that every 1st round pick has in their rookie deal. So they can extend Lamb and Dak this year, and then let Parsons play year 5 on the 5th year option, then exclusive franchise tag him and finally pay him. It will be an ungodly amount of the cap tied up in only 3 players, but good teams pay their draft picks when they become studs, so they will figure it out. Even if they prioritize extending him before Parsons, if Dak is dead set on leaving or at least testing free agency they cant stop him by tagging him

Well, if those players average 40 million dollars, they won’t have it hit on the cap at the same time. Void years and restructures will make it work and be able to kick the can down the road. If Dak got signed and Micah got signed, Micah’s contract wouldn’t kick in until the 3rd year of Dak’s contract, and it would certainly be less costly than his AAV. Micah’s big money would come after Dak’s contract is over, and Dak’s big money would come while Micah is making a normal amount, with Ceedee in the middle. Not at that position, it's a passing league, and finding good wide receivers is one of the easier parts of roster construction, because there are SO MANY of them. Good QBs (Dak) can make good receivers.
