In the main game you can get a gig from Wakanda to deliver a car from a Russian called Sergio. Ask him what happened and he talk about wronging a retired assassin and killing his dog
You don't have to kill Bree to get her gun. If you save her and kill the agent, she will rest her gun on the table beside her and you can grab both before ending the mission.

The two guys who sell xp buffs are actually the CDPR founders Michal Kicinski and Marcin Iwinski(you can google image them to see how they look compared to game NPCs). It's extra funny because CDPR started as a company that translated foreign games to polish and they were selling those games on the market/bazar(like a farmers market)next to the stadium in Warsaw. In game they sellin' BDs on the stadium :)

Be careful when starting PL, a lot of save files are being corrupted. Apparently it's caused by the airdrops, witnessing one or within the area of an airdrop seems to corrupt the save file
Honestly, Johnny's pistol is still my favorite, any other pistols are just temporary. So I'm not going to kill both of them for pistols that I will discard later.
Just a heads up regarding that quest you showed which you used to suggest saving before choices, I killed the guy to save the girl and pick up his gun, however after talking to her and waiting ( I needed a drink/snack) she will put her iconic weapon down on desk so you can get it aswell.
I just started the first mission, right after talking to the songbird, I fast travelled to my apartment to change my clothes and got a call from songbird, she then hacked me and I woke up with an interesting scene and actually failed the first mission never allowing me to enter dog town. xD
I have not played many hours yet. I’m trying to spread out PL with the main story since I’m on a new save and it took me hours to get through the first 2 big fights, you know what I mean, on very hard but I made it but holy cow the one with the robot took me hours
Props for sticking it out, I’m sure you know already but cyberware and perk set up is huge air dash and quake were a saving Grace for me along with biomon that auto heals when low hp
You can get both bree and his weapon even if you kill him. If you kill him. She will lay her weapon down wait till she goes back to the computer. Then loot it and leave

alot of cyberpunks missions are named after songs! a few that come to mind are "For Whom the Bell Tolls", (Don't Fear) The Reaper and "I Walk the Line" named after songs by Metallica, Blue Oyster Cult and Johnny Cash respectively
5:40 there are also a few mini-bosses around Dogtown too, i've encountered 3 so far, 2 in Terra Cognita and one just down the road a bit from Terra Cognita
It's nice they gave the reset to new characters as well. That way you can build one way in the early game and then reset when you get to God mode level.
Luckily I completed vanilla game 6 times, so I have 6 characters to play around with different outcomes, rewards and builds. The only downside of playing PL with a level 50 character who has cleared all the vanilla content, is that you miss out on a lot of the shards that you couldve found doing vanilla side content. So you'll be a little bit weaker than if you started from the beginning of the game. But even without the main game content, PL gives you plenty of chances to find shards, and even without the shards, my Vs are ridiculously strong with the new skill tree. I loved vanilla CP2077, but PL is so much better, i think im gonna complete it on all 6 of my characters lol

I’ve started a brand new playthrough with Phantom Liberty. Starting from scratch. I’m about to reach the point where the PL content will open up. If I go and play the expansion to the end, will the normal main quest and such continue after that or will the game end?
100+ hours between 2 characters. That's including all of the gigs and side missions and exploring. If you speed run it you can probably do it pretty quick but where's the fun in that?
The main story isint all that long. But Dog Town is very very veryyy dense, if you actually explore and do all the side missions you can really burn a ton of time in it. Basically don’t rush the main quests and you can absolutely get your moneys worth and then some

I started a new character when 2.0 was released, and I haven't yet gotten to Dogtown; I've seen none of these "go get me a car" missions from Muamar yet... Also -- that Chimera Core thing... Are there any iconic weapons that have mod slots? I don't think there are any, now, right? So what good is a mod made from that Chimera Core if you can't mod the iconic weapons? Or does it work with iconic weapons even tho there's no mod slot on those weapons?
Sell legendary weapons?! Oh my hell no…. There is unlimited tier 3-4 weapons to be looted from gangs around the world & can be continuously sold & net you a million quickly.
So are any iconic weapons missable now if the black market sells them? For example, in your last tip, you kill one of the two NPC's, each gives a different iconic gun. If I kill only one, take their weapon, and then visit the black market vendor, will I be able to find that other gun for sale?

If you mess up later on and/or decide you don't like your respec, you're screwed. I've rolled back like an hour or two of playtime at least 5 times to fix attributes that I didn't like after a while.

Tip: save your game before reseting you attributes so if you dont like the new build you can reload into your past save and try again

Yup just happened to me, i basically cannot progress any further because of the drops, just gonna wait for a fix.
Best to have 3 different saves.. And keep them updated, rotate saves every other time.

If you buy all the blueprints to craft parts up to legendary to craft legendary hacks, make one like the suicide hack and sell it for like 24000 each.

Chimera didn't drop its core for me!!! I searched around, under, and ontop for the damn thing for way longer then I care to admit before I gave up
that's weird. You could always try to re-do the save and fight it again
I found the core right next to Myers on the floor. It might have gotten stuck for you under the chassis.
They should’ve made the new DLC story the main story originally. It’s much better lots better.

There was an engineer perk before 2.0 that automatically disassembled junk but I don't think they have that in 2.0

If you mess up later on and/or decide you don't like your respec, you're screwed. I've rolled back like an hour or two of playtime at least 5 times to fix attributes that I didn't like after a while.
I wasted my core. I was upgrading mods like crazy and made a kind of pointless one
