I graduated high school the year you were born and so many of your songs were popular when you were very young or even before your time. It just made me cry! I was 11 when i first heard this song and now I am 38, but this song remains incredibly beautiful and when it is interpreted by Rumer, it is something soft, vivid and breath-taking. This version is utterly different from the ANNE MURRAY version yet still turns out to be a masterpiece!
Another excellent cover. Sadly, very very few people write material like this any more. Simple, effective, painting a picture with lyrics and a really hooky melody.

Absolutely beautiful. I have always loved this song but Rumer you have made it your own now! You have an amazing voice and Snowbird replaces Dangerous as my favourite song of yours. Just stunning ❤️❤️
It's very nice, but it lacks the character of your original work, which I hope we see someday soon. Seasons of my Soul and In Colour were both so beautiful, and we play them often during board game hangouts, and we all want that third album, the trilogy completed as it were.
For all of the Carpenters song's veneer of joy you just have to listen to the words to hear how desperately unhappy Karen really was. Lyrics crying out for help .
