Comparing my Hondo Pro Lead II copy to my Tokai and Fender guitars = as good as the best ones. Incredible sustain. Congrats and regards!
Totally agree. I have the Hondo Pro Lead 1, The pro Tele, and two of the pro Les Paul copies. Fabulous beasts.

Nice! The revivals were nice for sure! But were not Japanese to my knowledge. Might want to check the Hondo Wiki on those. I think that the Revivals were Hondo taking what they learned from Tokai and Matsumoku and applying it to their own manufacturing. I could be wrong about the revival series but I could have sworn there were two lines built in Japan. My memory isn't the best, I've learned everything but forgotten half of it lol.
Wasy first guitar still own it till this day with lots of mods.
I have one that survived a house fire. The one condition was I was not allowed to remove the 90210 Stickers.
