    A truly TREMENDOUS thank you for the music you use in your videos. I love these beautiful songs by artists I'd never heard of before but are now my favourites when on the road.

      Thanks mate! Yeah I source all my music from epidemic sound. They have so many awesome local and international artists to chose from. With any luck a new video will be up in the next two weeks once I’m home from deployment.

    Good clip mate. Have a look at the campboss king single swag if you’re after a stretcher swag. I use mine on an oztrail king single stretcher and it’s excellent.

      Thanks for watching! I ended up going with the OZtent RS-1 king single swag and the matching stretcher. It’s waiting for me when I get back from deployment! Can’t wait to get out there with it!

      @@MightyOverlander yeah I use a stretcher for the days when my back decides it’s easier to swing the legs out of the swag then try and get out and up.

    Great set of videos! Can you tell me the volume of the chaos box on top? What do you keep in there? Just recovery gear?

    • @MightyOverlander
      @MightyOverlander  2 роки тому +1

      Just recovery gear. I think it’s 85L but I can’t remember off the top of my head. It’s on the caos gear website if your interested in it. Not a bad unit, gas struts and tie down points so you can access the lid without taking your straps off

    Hi mate awesome video,
    How did you strap your fridge? And what did you use? Thanks
    I'm looking to buy the same fridge but I also don't want it permanently there as my Jimny is my daily

      This was a couple of years ago now. I have since moved to a fridge slide with the Wildtrak Coolite fridge. Much better in my opinion for the jimny

    Love your segments. I have a question. Car electrics is a black art to me. You have your fridge plugged into your power pack battery and then when you are on the move it is plugged into your cigarette lighter to charge on the move. When you stop for the night for example do you have to remember to pull the plug out of the lighter otherwise it could drain the car battery. Is that how it works and if so is that a hassle to remember to do that. I ask that because I have a Jimny on back order I already have a Coleman Rover 40 AH power pack and am going to get a 45l fridge and would set it up the way you have. Sorry for the book length question.

      @MightyOverlander  3 роки тому

      Gday legend! Yes that’s exactly how I have it set up. However if I turn the car off and the power pack is still plugged in the infotainment system remains on 😅. Basically I never forget because of that.

    Hi there. Not related to this video, but I was wondering which brackets you use to attach the batwing to your roof rack. We have the same roof rack and have just bought the bat-wing awning but ARB didn’t have compatible brackets and from what we can google we might need to hybridise a couple of brackets to make it work. What do you use and do you recommend it?

    • @MightyOverlander
      @MightyOverlander  3 роки тому +1

      I used the the ones from ARB, drilled out the holes and under slug mounted it to the roof rack

      This video was shot at Tim’s Thickett, a popular 4x4 beach just south of Perth WA. Unfortunately it was shot the day before I deployed (I’m in the navy) and I’m still not home yet. I expect to be back in the next couple of weeks then I’ll be out there shooting more content for you guys!!
