This time on: What I take Camping!
Today I'm going over my cooking gear and camp furniture. In particular the front runner stainless steel table and roof rack mount, Sea to Summit cooking gear, Jetboil Flash and the new Gas Mate double butane cooker.
So sit back and enjoy! Don't forget to hit that thumbs up, subscribe, leave a comment and follow on Instagram @Mighty_Jimny
Tony!
Take a shot every time he says “piece of kit” 😂
Great vid mate
😂
Something I do when stacking pots inside the other like that is to pad them with Scotch-brite thick & tough anti-bacterial absorbent wipes.
Pretty cheap, easy to fit a bunch in, and because theres 3 or 4 in my kit I use one as a bench wipe and the others as tea towels.
Some great stuff, I love that sea to summit pot set, might look at getting one 😀😀😀
I like their stuff, works well with smaller burners and small gas stoves. Not so much on a big fire tho, I’d stick to cast iron for that kind of stuff
Awesome video Tony.
Cheers cob, more to come!
Just watched Captian Fawcett Track, great getaway, very inspiring. Also gained important info about lift kit concerning Castor Correction Bushes, Thanks
Thanks for watching!
Hi; perhaps you could do a video on the first aid kit you carry and what’s necessary for the Australian bush. Cheers mate .kev Wales 🏴
Good idea! I’m on deployment at the moment. There is one more video coming on the 17th that I uploaded before I left. The next video will be sometime in may after I get home.
Hi Tony, just found your channel today. I'm also in Mandurah & just got myJB47 Auto. I just subscribed to your channel. Where did you get your cookware set from ?. Had 13month wait for my Jimny so the adventure just begins.Like your setup great to see content from WA with the Jimny. I'm not on Facebook just UA-cam. Looking forward to seeing more on your channel. Best Regards Michael
Gday legend! Thanks for watching! I get most of my gear from either “Go Camping and Overlanding” (near the city’s east perth) or “Camping world” in Rockingham!
Nice one Tony. Cheers
Cheers cob much appreciated!
Hi. Nice trips... keep on going... A question; did you change your pinion and crown wheels? if no; did you have any negative effect on top speed and/or fuel consumption? (I have the same car with BFG KO2 215/75/15's + 3" 4xfourart lift kit)
I had the lift done at Westcoast 4x4 so they did all the work for me and I’d have to ask them. Fuel consumption isn’t much different.
What tyres and wheels do you have on you jimny also what roof rack? Love your videos Tony
Gday legend,
I’m running BFG KO2 All Terrains 235/75/15 stock wheels. And I’m running the front runner slimline 2 roof rack on the tall feet so I can fit table mount in
@@MightyOverlander ta mate getting my jimny in 1-2 weeks. My wife and I love ur videos. Have u had any lift done?
@@ciaramccourt7724 50mm Ironman lift
@@MightyOverlander awesome thanks so much - did that lift include the GVM upgrade?
@@KvltSlaw yeah, but I still wouldn’t overload it. Just makes it more stable under constant load.
Where did you buy the 10mm hooks from? I have been looking all over the place for some
Bunnings but they were hard to hunt down as they are hardly ever in stock
If I recall correctly, they were M6 eye bolts (about a buck each). recommend picking up some fibre washers to protect the paint
This is correct!
