I am in love with these hearts. I collect hearts. Our wedding was done on hearts and my wedding ring has a heart shaped diamond. I can't wait to follow your clear instructions. Thank you for increasing my world of hearts.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I just got into fused glass in the last year. I use to do stained glass. I would buy magazines with projects in them. Was looking through a few the other day and guess who I saw in the magazine. These magazines are at least 15 years old. You are still as beautiful now as you were then.
I have made hearts in a firelit mold but the bottoms turn out with a matte finish. Is there anything I could use to get a shiny bottom? Can you coldwork a shiny finish?
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! I would love to know if you have any tricks as to how you glued the heart to the base other than holding it in place until the glue dries...:-)

@@LisaVogtglassartist where are you located? If you don't mind me asking.
Stay safe from the hurricane. My son and daughter in law live in Tampa. Which I think is just south of you.

Is this ramping technique possible to do in a non digital kiln. Is this COE 96 glass in your tutorial? Thanks

I ground the heart until it stood on it’s own. I glued the heart to the base and left it undisturbed until the glue was dry. I hope this helps.
@@LisaVogtglassartist Thank you, that makes perfect sense!!
@@LisaVogtglassartist These are beautiful. Can I ask what kind of glue you used?
I’m sure it matters if the cookie cutter doesn’t sit flat on the kiln shelf! Can I just put a weight across when I’m ready to fire?
Wonderfull☺ ho sell this harts?
