Excellent. 👍👍👏👏👌 I believe this is exactly the way the Clean was done in that great Olympic weightlifting lift called the Clean & Press, probably the supreme one lift test of overall body strength & probably still the best one lift that trains the body for such strength & power.
Everyone is half right... The clean and press was indeed removed from the Olympics however the clean and jerk is still there. Point beeing that the clean part of the move, as seen in this video, is still there in the Olympics. It is an awesome sight to see.
You burn a lot of calories during your workouts in a short amount of time. Olympic lifts are a great way to decrease body fat, build muscle, increase strength and maximize your time strength training
I like these kind of videos with every single explanation of the movement. But I think it would be more professional to watch in front or saggital view imo.
A lot of these videos show people continuing to squat down after the bar is received, probably because they're demonstrating with too little weight and pulling high enough that they are basically doing a power clean with a pointless squat added in
@@GlitchWarrior1 that is wrong, a clean starts lower because the weight is heavier than in a power clean, you don't do a squat for no reason, that would make no sense in competitive sport

Clean and Jerk
was? its still in the Olympics lol

wasn't it banned in the 70's because it was hard to judge?

Thanks as always for the help
Love these vs power cleans.
I'm a beginner and I have so much trouble with this , I don't understand why but I know practice makes perfect
exactly, i can bench more than i can clean🤕
Same here. Practice makes perfect. My plan is to go light until I perfect my form, then add weight
Clean and germ free
I dont have an olympic barbell but I have a long bar where I practice it. I hope to have my own olympic bar someday 😅
Ok. I can understand this position now. But I still do not know whether I can do this workout in the right position or not. Difficult.
It is perfectly fine to experience it as difficult. After all, this is an Olympic athletic sport! This takes years! 🔥🔥🔥
Great breakdown
Camile is great!
Isn't this the motion to get to the starting position of a front press?
Thanks 🙏

Awesome
Is the difference with power clean is the partial squat only?
Exactly

Power clean is a derivative of clean lmao… a clean is with the “pointless squat” included. And a power clean is without the squat
Yeah I actually had a similar thought… it looks like she’s “adding” the squat in as a separate movement. Glad it wasn’t just me who noticed that.
