On Nov. 17th 2012 West Virginia's versatile WR/RB/RET Tavon Austin put up arguably the most impressive performance by a single player in NCAA History. Getting his first significant action at running back he ran for 344 yards and 2 Touchdowns, he added 82 receiving yards and 146 kick return yards to give him a total of 572 all purpose yards, good enough for 2nd in the NCAA record books. All this against Oklahoma a team ranked 12th in the Nation at the time. - Спорт
I remember watching this game as an OU fan, and just praying that he wouldn’t get the ball again. Maybe the most frustrating 3 hours of my life.

Tavon has worked hard at every turn, done everything coaches have asked him to do, and put WVU on his shoulders in big games, win or lose, time after time. He represents WVU very well as an athlete and a man. I wish this kid all the best. Thanks for the 4 years, Tavon.

Tavon is just one of those guys that just just leaves your jaw open. Every time he steps onto the field, he does something that absolutely amazes me. He reminds me of Marshall Faulk, even though Marshal was a RB, Tavon can be a legitimate RB and, slot receiver, watch out NFL, here he comes!!!

I'm just glad that i got to witness Tavon play these last few years....we will never see another talent like this again...truly amazing to watch....On Senior day, i'll be in the stands screaming for him louder than anyone else as he has the heart of a true EER, when things have been tough, he always rose up and played his arse off!!!! I've never bought a jersey, but come the KU game, i'll have to!!

I really dont even know what to say but his is amazing to me. Coming out of baltimore Im glad he representing and using his talents to the FULLEST on the field. It's been a pleasure watching him back when he was at Dunbar, all the way up until now.
Most impressive thing about this kid is his field awareness. Always seems to know where every blocker and ever defender is and how to set them up.
Some might disagree, but Tavon Austin is the greatest player to ever put on a Mountaineer jersey. He is absolutely at another level and will be playing at a VERY high level at the next level. Brings tears to my eyes that I'll be watching the last three games of his career coming up. What a loss it will be next year...

This was the greatest offensive performance in this century of college football. I can't name a better game by a single player. This is not hyperbole. Tavon Austin was just THAT dominant and THAT unstoppable. You truly had to witness it to believe it.

Whoever gets Tavon is getting the whole package. RB WR KR PR. Stop and Start Acceleration is unmatched by anybody. His Field Vision is incredible. His cuts are jaw dropping, his speed is insane. Whats best about Tavon Austin tho is his WORK ETHIC. He is constantly working out and working on foot work. Thats why he is what he is. Whoever drafts him is getting the best player in the draft. Tavon is full of talent, skill and has an extremely high football IQ. Ppl will always doubt and say he's too small or this and that, BUT always forget the sigle most important factor: HE MADE IT TO THE NFL and shined his entire life at this sport. I can't stand "size junkies" I'm not very big, but I'm fast, agile and strong and most importantly above the so called "big men" I START at my position because I have the ability to make it happen each play I'm in. Big Hearts come in all sizes!

We all know he will not be picked until about 15 or maybe 20. But folks, NFL fans, whichever one of you gets him will be very happy. The record of our team did not put him in Heisman contention, but Austin was the best player in college football in 2012. Period. He will do some special things. Don't know about 100 catches, can't tell you what he'll do, but I will tell you he will OFTEN make excellent NFL players look like high school players. And he has a knack for not taking brutal hits.
