Wish I had something like that when I was cultivating. Would have been in hog heaven...

It looks like you have Canadian thistle. What other ways than cultivating are you using to combat it being organic? I have it terrible in my mixed vegetables.

Good thing that tractor isn't releasing any emissions, and no carbon previously sequestered in the soil could escape! I'm almost certain that this was the first pass of a high horsepower tractor on the "organic" cropland. Saving the planet 30 gallons of diesel per acre! As opposed to 15....😮

We will use a lower horsepower tractor for the next video. Thank you for the comment!

Fun fact. The average tier 2 engine, which is in this tractor. For the whole yearly operation of it, produces around 60-70k lbs of carbon. 3 acres of corn would complete absorb and convert it to o2. (At 18tons per acre. 1 ton=2000lbs)A soybean is a more minimal till crop which produces less carbon output. But a soybean cleans absorbs and converts about 6-8k of carbon per acre as well. So roughly 10-12 acres will clean that up as well this tractor is probably not throttled very high because it’s doing light duty work. So, our crops clean what our tractors put out. Happy to educate.

I don't have a problem with tillage, I just don't believe that "conventional" No Til farming using GMO's/etc is any worse than the "organic" operations using multiple tillage passes. If a consumer wants to buy "organic", fine. Good for them and the seller. But to feed 135% of the people in this country we need all the technology we have available.

Maybe with robot tractor we can do without herbicides??

There is no pesticide/herbicide used on any of the acres in this video, it's all certified as Organic. Robot weeding machines would be a game changer, it will be interesting to see how they improve over the next number of years! Thank you for the comment!
