Saab 9-5 first start in 2 years

First start on a fresh engine rebuild for my Saab 9-5 that’s been sitting for 2 years. Wossner pistons, B234 connecting rods, new crankshaft.

Did the ticking noise go away later on?
My 9-3I has the same ticking after being idle for 1.5 years. I think it’s the hydraulic lifters that aren’t fully filled with oil yet…

@@Thomas-og6hs lifters pumped up after about 10 minutes of idle time. I ended up replacing the timing chain tensioner with the old OE one instead of the new aftermarket replacement I had
