  • On July 18, 1964, Jack Ruby voluntarily took a polygraph examination to test his truthfulness. The Warren Commission did not rely on the results of this examination in reaching the conclusions stated in the Warren Report.
    On September 9, 1965, in Judge Louis Holland's court, Ruby disregarded his lawyers who were telling him to be quiet.

    Jack Ruby says he acted alone when he shot Oswald but I think he was just telling the WC what they
    wanted to hear. For if he told the truth the WC would've coerced him to lie & change his statement
    to appease the WC like they did with others. After his trial he gives a TV interview of his famous speech:
    "The world will never know the true facts of what occurred, his motives because
    the people who had so much to gain.....will never let the true facts come out
    above board to the world".
    He also says he's the only one in the background that knows the truth.
    This sounds contradicting to his WC statement & suggests there was a conspiracy behind it.
    In jail he made 7 requests to be taken out of Dallas to Washington to go before the senate committee.
    Where he's placed in a witness protection program because he feared for his life
    in the Dallas county jail. He didn't want to spill it because he feared the room was bugged.
    All his requests were turned down, he must've had some important info to tell Washington.
    I think he wanted to blow the lid off the conspiracy, he had ties with organized crime since the
    early 1930's during prohibition. He was a bootlegger for Al Capone......that says it all.
    He was marked as a gangster & it's hard to live down that association.
    It had to be dynamite if all his requests were not granted, everyone that told the truth or wanted
    to spill the beans were threatened & stopped.
    It's ironic Ruby & Oswald never left the Dallas police Dept alive.....something very sinister about the
    guardians of law in Dallas in '63.

    Ruby was ordered to kill Oswald by the Mob - he could not possibly refuse the order or he, himself, would certainly have been killed. But he never expected to get the death penalty.

    • @syourke3

      No connection between Ruby and the Mob!? You are totally ignorant! Jack Ruby was an associate of Sam Giancana, Carlos Marcello and Santos Trafficante, to name but three big time Mobsters he was close to. These connections were completely ignored by the infamous Warren Report.

    • @syourke3
      @syourke3 10 років тому +2

      Jack Ruby was the logical choice to rub out Oswald because he had access to the Dallas police station where he was practically a regular visitor. He could gain admittance there in a way no other mobsters could. Ruby's phone records show that he was in contact with mobsters constantly in the days and weeks preceding the assassination. Ruby was well acquainted with Oswald and did not want to carry out the hit. He even tried to warn the police to move Oswald the day before he went there and shot him. He delayed as long as he could. But he really had no choice if he wanted to stay alive - when people like Giancana, or Marcello or Traficante assign you to kill someone, you had better do it or else you are writing your own obituary. Ruby understood that, no doubt. It is very important to note that Ruby met with Warren and other members of the Warren Commission in his jail cell in Dallas and pleaded with them to remove him to Washington where he could answer all of their questions, that he could not speak freely in Texas because he would be killed in jail. The Warren Commission declined his request - why, if they really wanted to find out what he could tell them? Because they already had their conclusion before hand - Oswald killed JFK and acted alone. The Warren Commission thought it had to cover up the truth about the assassination in order to avoid a possible war with the Russians - because Oswald was supposed to be a Communist and if the American people thought that a Communist killed their President, it could lead to another confrontation with the Soviets, as a year earlier over Cuba. Warren was basically an honorable man and he only headed the commission after coming under extreme pressure from Johnson to do so. Check out the statements that Ruby made to the press, available on You Tube, you will see that he strongly hints that very powerful high placed people put him up to killing Oswald and he hints that Johnson was behind the JFK assassination. He says to a newsman, "None of this would have happened if Adlai Stevenson had been the vice president!" Check out the Ruby statements and then think again about who he was and why he killed Oswald.

      Oh, yeah. Sure, I could see that. Back in '63, only slightly before the death penalty was made practically extinct everywhere but Texas, Jack Ruby never expected that shooting a man on national television would result in him getting the death penalty -- IN TEXAS. I mean, how could he have known?

    • @syourke3
      @syourke3 10 років тому

      billybagbom You guys are just so fucking stupid, it is amazing! Ruby's lawyer, Melvin Belli, who had never even tried a criminal case before, decided to plead insanity - and it did not fly. Ruby should have just pleaded guilty and taken a prison sentence. Belli was an idiot to take the case to trial - but Belli was an egotistical jerk and he played dice with Ruby's life and lost. Incidentally, Ruby's first lawyer is the one who told Ruby to say that he killed Oswald so that Mrs. Kennedy would not have to go through the ordeal of sitting through a trial. Ruby admitted later on that his first lawyer - not Belli - told him to tell that silly story which no one could possibly believe. But why should I waste my time explaining stuff to idiots like you. After all, you are way to cool to believe in a conspiracy to kill JFK - only real nit wits believe in that stuff, right! You guys are a joke!

He wanted, desperately, to be found out, to be freed from his bond. Obviously his attorneys had been ordered to keep him silent, if they could. Fortunately, at that time in U.S. history, a person could still speak out openly without being gagged by the court. He raised a very pertinent question. Why was his LIe Detector (polygraph) results not made public? Only one reason I can think of, the results tended to show the involvement of others in the murder of JFK.

      Why was the polygraph results not made public? First of all, it could not be used as evidence...2nd... Ruby's ENTIRE DEFENSE of his first trial was that he was mentally unstable, 3rd... Dr. William Beavers (hired by the Ruby family AFTER the first trial) diagnosed Ruby as a "psychotic depressive" and it was he who felt that no significance should be placed on the results. 4th...you act like the results WERE NEVER released! James Vaught, maybe he could argue something about his state of mind. So, if he was temporarily insane or in some type of heat of passion at the time of the shooting, maybe he could get the charge reduced to manslaughter (which, in turn, would at least mean he wouldn't be facing a death sentence, as he is during this appeal hearing).

    If anyone could answer this question or prove this comment right or wrong I would greatly appreciate it. I was listening to an interview of a psychiatrist who worked with or for a psychologist with CIA the MK Ultra test, the acid test they were performing on unknowning patients. And he was amongst leading psychologist performing these tests. He said Jack Ruby's psychiatrist was one of these doctors and had visit with Ruby in jail and was the doctors patients. He stated Ruby's psychologist he knew for a fact was given acid in his jail cell that was the reason for Ruby's strange Behavior. This doctor was part of the MKUltra experiments and when Ruby was talkin about the bodies of Jews being beaten and burnt in ovens inside the prison that acid was because of Ruby's so-called insanity. He said the day chief justice Warren came and talked to Ruby the doctor had been there 2 hours previous to their arrival.. I believe the man was telling the truth. He ran psychotic Ward in Canada using MK Ultra test for this doctor last name was West in America. The guy interviewing was shown proof of this doctor and Jack Ruby was part of the experiment prison. For at least seven or eight years I cannot get that off my mind. My entire life I believe Oswald the sole assassin even after the Senate hearings. However when I really started researching and reading and listening to everything jfk-related I'm convinced it was a conspiracy. However I do believe Lee Harvey Oswald was part of that conspiracy rather he do it or not. But I do not believe Oswald was involved.

      I really don't know. there are a couple of other perhaps oddities that might support that theory though, for example the way he immediately fell over unconscious - almost like in the movies - which you wouldn't expect from a shot to the stomach. also, he was given a black sweater to wear, which might have better hid "no blood," if in fact there was no blood.

    • @shadowdance4666
      @shadowdance4666 6 років тому

      Uncle Tony so, you think it’s a possibility that he was moved to a secure facility to live out the rest of his life because it’s not in the reasonable realm of possibilities that a person doubles over after being shot in the belly

    • @uncletony6210
      @uncletony6210 6 років тому

      You're being sarcastic and misrepresenting what I said. first, no, I do not believe that "he was moved to a secure facility" because there are autopsy photos and witness reports from hospital that would establish that he was dead. second, no, not because he "doubled over" as that would be expected, but because he immediately went unconscious. but that was not the primary reason I gave that one might believe that LHO might not have been shot by Ruby, i.e., I referenced reports that there was no blood at the scene, which if true, doesn't pass the smell test for me.
      Like I said, I do not know what happened, and it could very well be the case that Ruby shot LHO with another "magic bullet" that killed without leaving any blood. another possibility might be a handler in the interrogation room tells LHO, "we're going to get you out of here, i.e., you'll be "shot," reported as dead, then given a new identity," only to be given an injection that did him in in the ambulance. I know, sounds complicated and like a lot of trouble, but one thing I've learned, is that you never want to take official reports at face value (televised or untelevised), and you ALWAYS want to maintain an open mind.

      @@jimmylieb5225 In order to cover the president’s blazing schedule, the agents worked double shifts and on their days off, often forgoing a night’s sleep. But often, the problem was not lack of manpower, but Kennedy himself, as he would ditch his guards at any opportunity, believing them ultimately ineffective.
      “If anyone is crazy enough to want to kill a president of the United States, he can do it,” Kennedy told his spokesperson. “All he must be prepared to do is give his life for the president’s.”
      It was in this spirit, then, that Kennedy would slip into “an unmarked car with his brother or a friend … trying to feed a seemingly insatiable appetite for sexual conquest” even as “members of his detail feared that within a sea of random women he met for trysts, one would try to blackmail, poison or kill him.”
      And while the Secret Service routinely conducted background checks on anyone who met privately with the president, this was forbidden for the president’s mistresses.

      @@jimmylieb5225 megalomanic JFK spent his 35 months in the White House stumbling from crisis to fiasco. He came into office and okayed the Bay of Pigs invasion. Then he went to a Vienna summit conference and got his clock cleaned by Khrushchev. That led to, among other things, the Cuban missile crisis and a whiff of nuclear apocalypse.
      Looming over it all is the American descent into Vietnam. The assassination of Vietnam’s President Diem on Kennedy’s watch may have been one of the two biggest mistakes of the war there. (The other was the decision to wage a war of attrition on the unexamined assumption that Hanoi would buckle under the pain.) I don’t buy the theory promulgated by Robert McNamara and others that Kennedy would have kept U.S. troops out. Sure, Kennedy wanted out of Vietnam - just like Lyndon Johnson wanted out a few years later: We’ll scale down our presence after victory is secure. And much more than Johnson, Kennedy was influenced by General Maxwell Taylor, who I suspect had been looking for a "small war" mission for the Army for several years. Indochina looked like a peachy place for that - warmer than Korea, and farther from Russia.

    Ruby was a nasty bully and dodgy night club owner, who operated on the borderline of the law! He was part of the underworld with his nightclub being a ‘fig leaf’ to cover his more dubious activities. He was a totally.irrational individual who preferred to act on impulse throughout his life. Ruby appeared to have few friends as he was considered emotionally unstable. A wild character who would frequently display a fiery temper towards customers at his nightclub who ‘displeased’ him.

Clear the height of the building us he brought his dog so he schould have missed the whole thing the only reason he was there was to send a stripper 20 dollars she had originally asked him to send the money to forth worth the day before but he said he would send it the next morning but he had forgot and she called him again so he woke up sunday morning with no intention of being there his reason for killing Oswald is known a jew had written an article basically accusing Jews of killing Kennedy he was a big fan of Kennedy proof his brother said he was he closed his strip club down fir 3 days he was seen crying when he heard the news Kennedy was assassinated I believe he had an idea to kill Oswald and had the chance on friday but lost his nerve Oswald walked right past him do I think this anger kept building till sunday just on an impulse because he said Oswald had a smirk on his face and he wanted to prove that Jews had guts oh by the way a policeman did let him in but he did not know he was going to shoot Oswald and ruby said himself nobody was involved with him so sorry folks no conspiracy you can now see why the Warren commission came to this conclusion
