Thank you so much, I have been searching for a way to understand division of number bases without having to go through the process of first converting all bases to base 10 for weeks now You have really helped me out.
Great work. I learnt something. However, I need an explanation on how to do same with other bases e.g division of numbers in base six, base eight et al
I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. This is not meant to teach to children. I teach this to college students who have mastered elementary concepts and hope to teach elementary students one day. This helps them to start back at the beginning and develop a deeper understanding of our base 10 system. As they learn base 5 operations, they can apply their new learning to teach base 10 better. This research-backed method is used across many college systems to teach pre-service teachers. The goal is - that if you can do it in base 5, you can teach it better in base 10.
This is outstanding. Much faster than creating times tables. Thank you!
Beautiful! A very fast and explanatory method.
Very helpful. Some of my students would be excited to have this new method to work with.

Good work! But can the same method be used with other number bases ?
You're a life saver! Thank you so much
Can you show an example I am having trouble with doing 103 base five divided by 4 base five. I am having trouble with this
Awesome!

This is really awesome. Please which board are you using for this?
It is a glass board. My editor flips the video :)
How do you record your video and what you use for fort board writing
It is a glass board, then I have someone flip it during editing.
your videos really help me thanks you

Anyone noticing she's kinda writing backwards???
Looks like it! ;) I'm not though, I write regularly and then someone flips it for me in editing.
1045/14 division number Base in base 5
Much easier thanks
Hello
Poorly explained without details. This was terrible!
