Nearly identical. I have both and use them both. I use the DoT in the Boost mode and the PoT in the OD mode, next to each other in the chain, so it’s kind of like a KoT alternative.

I'm in Australia and they haven't gotten here yet, but when they're listed on the music shop websites they're listed at $300AUD and over, up to $340AUD that I've seen. The POT is $260AUDish (granted they're basically never available). So unless those aren't the actual prices the DOT is going to end up being, they're going to be more than the POT! At least in Australia. For reference the MXR Timmys can be got new for $220... Hope DOTs are going to end up being cheaper...
@@chesneytube1 The price on the Analogman site isn't the full price, as you've got to add shipping and any customs & other taxes. The MXR bypasses that, so what you see is the full cost and they probably will go down after the initial excitement has died down.
What are the dip switches set at in the Prince of tone? On or off? Prince of tone sounds thicker to me and just not in your video. All of them I’ve seen the Prince of tone sounds bigger just like you said
Inside the pedal they’re are 2 dip switches. One to enhance low mids and the other for more compression. Also there is a treble pot. I was just wanting to know where the settings are at INSIDE your Prince of Tone

Overdrive, Boost or Distortion selector.
