ARE KNAGGS GUITARS BETTER THAN PRS GUITARS??

ARE KNAGGS GUITARS BETTER THAN PRS GUITARS??
Is a bit of q unfair comparison cause the position of thy camera 9am different for each which can alter how the pickups are heard.... but to judge off what I can hear... the difference in output is very evident... the wizz were very tele like... the Gibson was bright and spikey the wizz was bright and clear
Can you please tell me how to copy the dirty tone you use
You can see my Graphic EQ settings and my EQ knob setting for the red channel. I did have it switched to "Extreme" for this demo.
Faintly Chimney Uncovered with a little warmer tone
That's one nice sounding guitar.
Sweet!!
song name?
Layla by Eric Clapton
good times 💪🏻
Looks and sounds great, did you fill and drill the tuner holes or use adapter bushings? also how did you fill the gap for the trc?
@@MrRidleyDog I used the 10mm bushings for the tuners. For the truss rod cover, I cut a thin black pick and screwed it into the bottom screw position on the trc to fill the gap.
@@dmusumeci That's great, the bushings don't look crazy oversized like they usually do, where did you get them from? I did a similar thing with my trc, but use a scrap of an old trc to achieve the same effect.
@@MrRidleyDog Philadelphia Luthier Tools www.philadelphialuthiertools.com/tuning-machines/conversion-bushings/gotoh-guitar-tuning-machine-10mm-conversion-bushings-nickel/
@@dmusumeci awesome! Thanks for the reply.
Yep, did the same on mine, and the resonance increased noticeably.
im getting the axe can you tell me what the pots are and where to but them?
Cameras were different back then, obviously. But even with the modern cameras the white looks a bit strange, It pops out so much it almost loses its definition around the edges. Same with the strings of your hoodie. TV Yellow looks more "normal." Definitely easier to see. Cool video man. Thanks!
Thank You for the positive feedback. The other two comments were very negative, but I thought it still got the point across as you said.
@ wait. You don’t have a 70 year old camera immediately available at your house to use for UA-cam?
Hearing it with that tube screamer sold me. Sounds like it can nail every sound from cleans to high gain with pedals
Sounds like crap
Thank you for such a detailed opinion. Much appreciated.
I grew up obsessed with Gibson. Dam knaggs was way better.
This is ridiculous. Firstly the FILM cameras did NOT have the dynamic range of exposure that modern digital cameras do. Know your facts first before making a video...
Sorry, I lost my Flux Capacitor. Doing the best with what I have. I thought the white looked washed out and the TV Yellow looked more natural even in my POS video. Thanks for watching. Reply
@ryanbailey112 TV yellow wasn't meant for FILM cameras. TV yellow was meant for STUDIO Television cameras. Early tv cameras used tubes. Bright spots or "hot spots" were too bright for the cameras, especially under studio lights. If you watch early tv shows, you may see a streak or tail if the camera was on a hot spot then moved. In fact if you left the camera on one bright spot for too long you would risk "burn in" in which the tube would be permanently damaged and retain that image. Kinda like if you look at something bright then quickly shut your eyes. And after a production, when cams were shut down, it was required to first throw them out of focus and point them to the floor. Oh yeah, guess I should've stated I worked in a television studio as a camera operator. So maybe know YOUR facts before commenting
Your using a modern filter. I watched an old 50s film on this. It washed the white out with the equipment and lighting they were using at the time. In so much that it carried over onto other objects blurring them out. Then I saw the tv yellow in the same original film and it looked white. With your filter, you can tell the tv yellow is yellow and the white is white. So yeah, not even close to a true test

Good review. Simple and to the point. Exactly what no one else does. 🤙👏
It's a great sound. Nice.
Man that sounds NICE. 😊 Gotta get the good stuff 😊
Sounds Great. You can definitely make it " sing ".
Fralin for me for my new tele.
POD.
Outstanding very good well done 👏 😊
Sounds insanely good!
I'm listening through a half inch long tablet speaker, they both sound great. Ha
Nice! Even played Whole lot a love Corectley!
I’m certain it likes you too!
Sounds great!
hell yeah brother
Oh hey aqualung
Nice tone ! What amp and pédal do you use ?
@@bastienlinard7530 Amp: Victoria 518 Champ Guitar: 2021 Les Paul 60’s Standard Pedals: Warm Audio Centavo, Vertex Dynamic Distortion and J Rockett Boing Reverb
That sound great . I am considering those pickups. What do you have your amp set at ? Thanks
I got one of these when they came out, it's a great Strat in every way except one, the neck is so slim that above about the tenth fret you can't help pushing the bottom E string off the neck. Would never have sold it otherwise.
SOLD!
Really sounds out of this world
How do you get it to be so resonant?
@@NoahGrace44 I installed a Lollar P-90
How are you liking the h-150?
@@Serjm87 I love it. It sounds great and plays like dream. It’s just as good as a Murphy Labs for half the price.
@@dmusumeci Awesome
Use a tube power supply with that Express and it will sound and feel just as good as the Freidman.
Hey what kind of dirt pedal with your amp??
@@bruzzgravely3470 It’s a Wampler Gearbox. All equipment used is listed in the Description. Thanks for watching.
POD Express sounds good on this test. Probably the volume not adjusted properly for the comparison.
Subjective as ever. I put Seths in my 2023 Standard and I absolutely HATE them. Play almost entirely rhythm through a '73 Vibrolux, a '74 Bassman, and a '64 Ampeg Gemini
Sweet switch, very audible in clean, not that much in saturate.
I’ve had all 3. The irj is the best
0:01 to 0:02 We've had a catastrophic failure! 😮
Excellent overdrive
Question : The capacitor preexisting on the tone pot stays the same as before correct ? You do not remove it ?
@@ernestgoble8825 You don’t remove it, correct
😉👍🏻. Thanks, ive had my '02 Peavey Wolf for over 21 years now, never had a issue with my Floyd/D tuna. Altho, i was fine tuning it in Drop D, and its a bit flat. Ill try it this other way, sounds more logical. Its all trial and error 20 yrs ago, unlike now you have answers instantly. Nice Guitar btw!
Awesome 👌
amazing sound !
Wow, sounds incredible
